Akai Force 3.2: Touch FX Setup Tutorial 

I’ve had this for about 3-4 days now and even with all the research I did I am completely blown away by this machine. Nothing comes close to this thing for truly having an entire studio in a box.

Excited, but worried. Purchased a Force today. The 8 Oled knobs won me over. Eager to learn as much as I can about this little beast. Glad I found your video. I loved my MPC ONE plus, then got the Key 61 (in storage right now), and needed something portable and easy to use until my new studio is setup next year. Fingers cross the Force keeps getting love from Akai.

I think there should be another tab for touchFX(es) in the mixer view. One cursor per track, each being the touch slider of the track (if set). And with a shortcut beneath to access the complete touchFX view of the track. This way it would be easy to use live and the knobs would be automaically mapped in knobs screen mode! What do you think?

Can you help me? I don't understand this at all. Why is the effect completely turned off when "touch enable" is turned off? Isn't that the same as turning the effect off? If the touch strip only controls one parameter of the effect, then why does turning the touch strip off turn off the entire thing?

Thanks for this & hopefully Akai will take your idea about having multiple touch faders on 1 screen that would make way more sense...& would be like having 4-8 Korg Kaossilators in 1 box...#AKAI make this happen!!!

Great video and demo. I always enjoy getting your take on things! I don’t know exactly what Akai intended for this, but I tend to think of Touch FX as a “hurry effect.” Most of the stuff you can do with the Touch FX, you can already do with macros, and you can get much more detailed. But it takes some time to set it up. These you can just throw on a track fast and start using them. I may be totally off in left field, but was just my reaction to it.

There is definitely a way around this instead of just using the knobs for your effects performances. Maybe someone here can explain better than I can but you can also use the XY pad for this. If your in an editing section on the XY pad, jog the big knob until you see column 1, column 2, column 3 and so forth within the XY pad. If you have Touch FX enabled on each of these columns you are definitely good to go! No more switching back and forth when you can finally see the columns all mapped together and your ready to perform! Hope This helps.

A struggle sytem i think for 2 knob .,Hope akai upgrade an effect x/y preset and multiband filters
