A little on-camera experiment in sampling synths and then using the slices on different pad layers to create interesting and evolving arpeggios or sequences.
Finally, thanks to you, I ordered my Akai Force this morning. And I'm already going through the documentation, without forgetting your tutorials, to take some cues. Thank you for everything !
@Maxipok Music Do this mean there will be a part#2?🙄 And don't forget about the Offset playback feature, which could be really cool for this stuff. You can make custom arpeggios!
Nice one mate! Love this idea. New to the Force from the MPC & pretty sure using the macros like that isn’t possible on the MPC & suddenly opens up massive possibilities for me to consider 👍🏼
Really great concept and idea. Speaking of arpeggiator, I've looked around on the force but can't find a way to have the arpeggiator play "live" from held down chords. As in, I want to record the chords, then be able to set the arpeggiator after the fact and try things out and change the mode on the arpeggiator. But seems you have to record the arpeggiator "as is" with the settings you've picked before recording since it's writing the individual notes upon recording and not the chords held. Any tips?
Thanks, I’m glad it was useful! Yeah the arp doesn’t work after the fact, unfortunately. But there is a latch control if you hit shift + arp, which will hold whatever notes you play, so you can trigger a chord and experiment with arp settings, and when you get the sound you want, you can then record it. That’s the closest option I think…
