In this quick and easy to follow tutorial, we look at using sample layers to create an organic, human-sounding shaker sound with two samples. This technique is great for creating shaker, tambourine, and open / closed high-hats, or adding movement and variety to any repeating sample-based rhythmic sound.

Hi, I’m glad you are finding the videos helpful! The sample was in memory already as I had done a dry run of setting the track up off camera so I knew what I would be doing / saying once I was filming 🙂
