I love that Akuma's world tour intro is essentially an inversion on Ryu's. They are both training in a secluded area, Ryu's fists controls the direction of the falling petals but doesn't actually harm them. Like he's one with nature, his Shoryuken very explicitly doesn't touch the petal that falls in its path. Akuma is also calmly punching but he is actively hitting something (he even does the hashogeki/hadoken stance but simply brute forces more power), his punches destroy the cave around him, destroying the natural formation. And his Shoryuken is enacted specifically to harm the statue. Actually godlike direction for this intro.

I saw the thumbnail and thought "They got him for Tekken 8 too!?!"

The comment section in the main SF channel joked about Akuma looking like a Souls boss, which made me realise that he now looks eerily similar to Owl from Sekiro. With how bulky his physique is as well as towering over you in height. Just a funny connection I made.

If a box head guy ran into Akuma, they'd take off the box and rethink their life. Also, even though he didn't look very good in SFV, the SFV Raging Demon will be a tough act to follow.

The funniest thing about "I showed you my demon please respond" is that they're probably going to give him a cellphone in world tour mode. Are you ready for Akuma with a cell connection? Also I suspect this might be a hint that he's mastering the Satsui no Hadou, and that's pretty scary!

They really need to redesign Ryu, he still looks and moves like the oldest build of the game (like an old engine), there is a big differences bettwewn all DLC characters and Ryu.
