@@jackyv626 their inputs are inconsistent while under Extreme stress. Unlike df2 for example, cd input is something you have to focus on and that takes a lot from your split second decision making.

I mean, I play Leroy myself (although recently I came back to Lee), and I think he still needs a bit of nerfing. Nothing too crazy, but yeah, he needs them, no doubt. Fahkumram, on the other hand... Still more busted than current Leroy.

Downplaying d2 was honestly one of the craziest things I've seen lol. That move is definitely one of the best moves in the entire game and it was presented as if it was the worst thing in the world lmao. Pathetic to be honest.
Just wanna point out a few things in this video is that 1) When TMM learned about the akuma demon flip trap at the wall, he acknowledges it and appreciates the guy from learning something new and he accepted his mistake. 2) He even tells his twitch chat to avoid shit commenting about being transgen which is very controversial. So here we can see him still respecting other people even when they do trash talk him or maybe even insult his opinions. Bruh even THE ARSLAN ASH respected TMM review on his Tier list and not even talked sht about it only a few disagreements. Not being biased but just having respect and some common decency is all.

I'm a scrub Tekken player, but even I was losing my sh*t when Rubish was comparing Akuma's Down+2, to Kazuya's electric. I mean I'm a beginner Tekken player, and even I thought it was hilarious. MainMan is a god for how he kept himself composed. I know he wanted to bust up laughing along with me.
I struggled to figure out what he meant when he said that Akuma's D2 gives you the launch "situationally" for 75 damage, and then he went on to say that Kazuyas PEWGF can actually punish moves that Akuma's D2 would not reach. Oh *_that's_* the issue, poor Akuma players can't use this 12 frame D2 poke to punish any -12 move for 75 damage without wall.

I have a friend that picks up strong characters in the fighting games we play, and he always downplays the characters strength. I like technical characters so we always end up debating.

TMM! The section where Rubbish compared Akuma's d2 to the pewgf is ironic. She is only making the point that you were talking about the power of d2 in a vacuum without talking about counterplay and stuff. She demonstrates this by talking about the pewgf in a vacuum and not taking counterplay and weaknesses of the move into consideration. Now i think she misrepresents the pewgf intentionally to kinda make a joke out of it, which makes her argument shitty. If she thinks that you misrepresented d2, she doesn't seem to lay out how you misrepresented it, she just goes "Hurr durr mainman doesnt get it".
Even in the 90's, Tekken players argue a lot because of how some characters have some OP advantages. KOF, SAMSHO, LASTBLADE, MVC and SF has a lot if imbalanced characters to the point they could do an infinite on you but I never see their crowd argue about it.

I usually disagree with TMM, but love him right here. He makes absolute sense. As for his "tech trap" I main Xiaoyu, that is how every single tech trap works. You have to perfectly time your trap to the wake up. It applies to every single character in the game. Still, Akuma has the best techs at wall. Again, this coming from a Xiaoyu/Maven main! The resplat is absolutely crazy. EWGF is maybe the strongest move in the game, but TMM saying "idk if I'm beibg trolled" 😂 His comparison between d2 and EWGF is absurd.
The thing for me is that there isn't any risk with the tech traps from akuma at least idk about ling or other chars feel free to explain, but the +7 unseeable low according to the transformer isn't a big advantage but +5 EWGF is a huge advantage?!
@@Bojackhorsemanlover911 I agree with you, for Ling usually when you escape her trap either you can punish her or it is your turn unless she does a risk. That was the general idea for ling. For Marduk for example, all grounf throw attempts can be launch punished if escaped before it connects. For Akuma... He is safe/plus or you're dead.
