Akuma unleashes the Raging Demon! - Street Fighter 6 Gameplay Trailer Breakdown 

***EDIT*** Playstation blog posted a thing(after i made the vid, of course) so Red Fireball is just regular fireball held it looks like, not a separate input like it usually is. So there's that! Everything else though I got right lol. So its finally here, the "Main Event" of Evo Japan as it were... Akuma and his trailer! Akuma is now apparently the herald of Season 2 of SF6 as he will launch with a major balance patch effecting ALL CHARACTERS on May the 22nd, so stay tuned for that cause we will def cover it on the channel. As for the Akuma trailer? Dude's crazy lol, like stuff is straight up bananas. Don't wanna give it all away so get to watching! Also leave a like too why not for akumas sake! Little known fact: in order to train under Akuma, you have to take his DP to the face and survive. Which is why he has 0 students!

My favorite part of the reveal was when akuma showed up and said "Like and Subscribe" and proceeded to do it over and over again!!!??? Shheeesh. ☠️

I'm at the point where I watch the trailer then IMMEDIATELY run over to have you explain all the cool shit I just saw.

His double fire punch is the Shakunetsu Messho from Tekken 7. Akuma went to Tekken, learned a new move, and brought it back SF.

I love the start of his drive rush animation on his toes. The animators are so consistent with expressing the exertion of battle on these characters

The subtle reference to at least partway becoming Oni is his win cinematic is really cool. In SF4 Oni picks up your head before slamming it into the ground and it looks like here Akuma contemplates it before just letting you go as he has no use for you anymore. Cute nod to the idea he's on the cusp of losing his humanity.

As much as this version of Akuma is AWESOME there is a small part of me that wants to see the timeline where in SFV he had the baby and his mentor quests in SF6 would just be us helping him with that.

Im noticing some similarities with the ryu animations. One of the target combos is a punch punch round house kick like ryu, his lava punches are lole ryus hasho in a way and his level 2 definitely starts like ryus level 2

Nice to hear hello and welcome. I want to say something here: 1. That raging is like akuma becomes madara uchiha sage of the six path. All those clones looks like the limbo move. 2. Akuma looks way more scary and now kazuya, heihachi, shao kahn and Shang Tsung will run very badly 3. The volcano in the background reminds me of “volcanic rim” in sf4 (I love that stage)

Definitely will be looking forward to a akuma guide and go to combos im excited and cant wait to play Akuma. This is torture wish they release him today.

Once again this year today is my birthday, and a great fighting game releases awesomeness on it!!

They seem to have confirmed that the Raging Demon works as an ender if you want to use it that way. You can combo into the raging demon.

I was gifted street fighter 6 for my birthday but I was willing to play tekken 8 first so I just played a few games and tried the drive system. Now seeing the new akuma I think it's time to play it a bit more seriously.

Finally we can now look forward to what characters are next. Still 6 classic characters are missing.. I’m glad year one is over.. I hope year two is better!

Man been waiting for Akuma and I don't even like using shoto chars at all. Given the look and the style and that I'm likely not going to get Oni like I want, this will work. He looks great. That full screen ex flip is made for a certain bearded broken char. Great vid man!

That divekick at the start looked like it came from his regular jump instead of the hyakkishu (demon flip), because the hyakkishu isn't a flip anymore, it seems. On top of that, he can *still* divekick from his Hyakkishu, which means he has *two dive kicks!*

It is crazy to think that we have waited almost a year for this, but I felt so much chills while watching this. We knew Akuma was going to be absolutely insane, but even then this went above expectations. Can’t wait to see what madness unfolds in three weeks.
