1st time I ever heard Al Di Meola was at an Ovation guitar clinic in 84 in Tacom Wa and I was floored. I bought his picking technique book and got him to auto graph and then I drove across the street to Tower Record and bought 3 of his lp's and from that day on he was my favorite guitar player!
