It must have been the best time to be in a band in the 80s. 70s was all about concerts and being on the road for most of your career. 90s was a push for eletronic music and sampling. 80s was that sweet spot where you had a new outlet (MTV) for your music and your image, media like tapes and walkmen was taking off, then the late 80s new media in CDs. On top of that you could hit the road and not worry about being recorded on someones phone for any onstage antics.
The very best. The Master. Mr Beck could play anything and every guitar player should aspire to his creative exploration. I have friends who only like certain styles, but they are not really musicians and certainly not as gifted as Mr Beck whose duty it was to push the boundaries.
That Les Paul sounds so warmmmmmmmmmmmm ~ just beautiful. Same Oxford Blood standard Les Paul is illustrated on the cover of Blow by Blow ~ This is just awesome to see ~
The whole Band was right on but the really cool thing as Kim assumes the second solo is the character steps into high gear and the mans soul just flys around the room so delibertely that there is not turning back from the Hell Bound Train... what a masterpiece!
Jon Bon Jovi, Ritchie Sambora ?????? WTF are you talking about ! One drop of Jeff Beck's piss contains more musical talent than Bon Jovi or Sambora will ever have !!!!!! Sambora auditioned for Kiss, and didn't make the grade !!!! LOL !!!!!!
