Cesar your right this was in 1996. Its on the back of the Newport Jazz Festival Tee Shirt Al is wearing. May Mr. Jarreau Rest In Paradise my favorite jazz vocalist whom I had the pleasure and honor in seeing him perform live in a few concerts since the mid 70's

@@D_in_DC Everything about this concert says 1990s. Al's voice and footwork, the clothes, the totally different musicians from his 2014 bands. The heavy synth-brass patches. The opening track which would fit perfectly on a Rippingtons album. Thank you for reversing the gaslighting from the uploader. "2004." 😆

I agree but this guy is doubling and the road is expensive Michael Patches Stewart trumpet is with EWF. I dont know what Michael Paulo is doing I think on the West Coast doung sessions .....Synths will never replace real breathing horns in sound or sonics....But its about our A J not them and marvalous he is as ever!!

me too...but later in life...as u grow older and matured...al jarreau music makes me more civilised...his kind of modern jazz changed me to be a better person...gots lots of his albums...best recommended album are...L IS FOR LOVERS & BREAKING AWAY...check it out if u have the time...too bad...never made it to my country MALAYSIA for a concert...there's thousands of jarreau diehard in my country...AL..RIP...
