So, when it’s not birds..... “FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!......THE WEED WACKERS! AAGGHH....” ....and they keep going on....on a steady crescendo..... “This isn’t going any better than our usual videos....”. LOL! Notwithstanding that, you did a great review on a superb Italian stallion!
"This isn't going any better than our usual videos." Bill, we wouldn't want it any other way! Beautiful car!! This thing looks like it just came off the showroom floor. I really hope it's new owner takes as good of care of it as the previous have!
Saw one of these today in Brisbane, Australia. Quite the coincidence. It was at a car yard that specializes in Japanese JDM imports, but had some beautiful, special Euro cars in the shed.
My Alfa 156 sportwagon facelift has the Giugiaro badge too. ; ) The most beautiful station wagon ever made, I believe. I miss wheel arches like these. Petite and attractive (like on my 156). Car design today is quite the downer for the most part.
Another great video Bill. I always learn a lot while getting a laugh. Your videos are very instructional as well as being good for a laugh or two. I appreciate you and your outstanding RU-vid videos.
If I was in the US and had enough coin, I'd bid on this thing until it was mine...I LOVE these! EDIT: One thing I never understood, though, is why the gauges start below where the dials' needles sit, so for example up to 15-18 mph, it's pretty much not indicating the actual speed.
'The car has always been in doors', must have been a big building if it did 21K miles inside it xD, joking aside, beautiful car, cant beat a Maserati, the perfect cheaper alternative if one cant afford a Ferrari FF coupe.
All the noise that the lawn services make is ridiculous, I call it the bane of Suburbia! Actually, gas-powered blowers and trimmers are actually illegal in Florida. They are ubiquitous, however, for some reason.
Do you work on Weedwacker Lane? Every video seems to include them. hehe Do you guys finance? Your cars are all in mint condition it seems. Oh wait...I just found your website and I think you guys do. Is the 1979 Trans Am or the 300zx available still?
Hi Bill - congrats on feeling a little better.... and the car being a little tighter.... much less CHRYSLERIZED :))))... I figured out why I / we - admirers here love Your voice and presentation.... If You'd deepen it... while adding more pauses - it would sound like Jack Nicholson's :) !!!!!! Keep it up.... and please continue commenting on anything... like lawn mowers, Your phone.... and either ironies.... as they happen.... You Have A Gift.... My Friend :))))) !!!!! Amazingly relaxing... and enjoyable.... Please sub-contract Doug DeMuro's or Jay Leno's reviews.... and replace their squeeky, childish agitations :)))))
….I remember that Joe Walsh song “Life’s Been Good”…..but I could never find the stats on any Maserati in 1978 that supported that claim…..certainly not the Merak or the Bora. The Khamsin could do 170. I suppose Walsh used ‘185’ because it sounded good and rhymed.
My best friend had one new back in 06. My ex wife was my wife at the time. She hates cars. She went for a ride with me in that car. She got out and said she now understood why I love cars. She loved it. Never forgot that. Probably got me laid that night.
Did this dude really said that Maserati “fixed” the taillights for this model? Wouldn’t he meant “ruined by changing the boomerang taillights for those crappy prelude ones?
The video game, grand theft auto, 5 in particular, is famous for sort of ripping off real cars and changing them very slightly and giving them a new weird name, you know to make things easier to model and not get sued obviously. This gransport just makes me laugh because the it looks like a car that came FROM gta5 and became a real life car. Just the style of it looks like a neat video game car with the back end especially. It's slightly cartoonish and almost bordering on tacky in some nebulous way. I kinda like it though
I had planned on showing off my superior LED taillight knowledge in an annoyingly smug and pompous way to educate you that the W220 S class had them first but I Googled it and actually the Cadillac Deville from 2000 had them so that's me told.
I understand this Commentary. And the newer GT have better autoboxes and a much MUCH better exhaust tune. This exhaust sounds like a bastard child with a Porsche boxer engine. Then there is the humdrum 1993 Honda Prelude appearance from rear 3/4 view and those hideously oversized and very dated tailamps glaring at you. All griping aside, I can always appreciate a fantastic chassis - a great drivers instrument. And seeing you can get these with the DSG for around 20K with LOW miles, there is value here. I was looking a a red Maserati Coupe cambiocorsa with 12k miles for sale in the Boston area for mid 20's. Likely the reason I was linked to this video presentation. Enjoy! - Sandy
The owner is selling the car because he is going broke due to the coronovirus financial impact. "Buying a house" is a attempt to protect the man's dignity. You ain't fooling me
I would rather get a Porsche 911/997 for that money. They are even after over 10 years more advanced than todays Maserati´s and can be maintained at any VW/Porsche dealer. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YduLaR0d8RI.html The new 911 turbo is now down to 2,7 sec for 0-62 mph (i tested much lower, but warning your eyes will pain by the sheer physical force, as they are pressed backwards). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Dt-0NVt6jSw.html But with no Autobahn in the US a GT3 is the right choice for max pleasure: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Urj1UDcXwm8.html
@@sasiedu562 he can still think the car is ugly even if he can’t afford to drive it... just because a car is expensive doesn’t mean you have to find it attractive
