Alabama State's band got a national reality show. They chose ASU to feature not JSU, Southern or any other band. They chose us. Now that's a "Real Band Check In."

thats all im saying...im bama state but i can give JSU their respect, but its not even JSU bandsmen downing state in the clips, they know what they heard across the field
I'm not biased in anyway, I'm just making an observation based on what I'm hearing, there isn't any cohesion in asu's sound in comparison to jackson, alabama state sounds like many different sections playing, but I don't hear those sections balancing together as a band, jackson sounds more balanced, and the sound is more together

JSU didnt expect that kinda volume or cleanliness while bein that loud from state. i give em they props for bein loud and clean at times,ive seen JSU across the field three times, twice in my own stadium, once in theirs...2012, ASU gave it to JSU, 2013, JSU got us, now in 2014..well if u werent at the game then u wouldnt understand the intensity coming from both bands, everyone says JSU got the W and the clips can back it up, however the clips dont do this battle justice, unless u recorded it from inside each band, but me as a MMH i havent heard us contend with JSU that way in a while. both bands were out for blood and each one ate good that game. bandwise u can argue, but i can say for sure, Bama state trumpets smashed on JSU this year
JSU smashed yall in 2009, 2010, 2011, the band changed directors in 2012 Bama had more volume but JSU was still cleaner that in 2012. In 2013 & 2014 JSU won by a landslide. I understand that you have school pride. But this 2014 battle was not close at all bru. Bamas book, execution, or volume did not match JSU. Better luck next year tho...

But if some realist that were in the band across from us can give us the props for cumn wit it, u might need to fall in line. 2014, i never said we blew em out, never said we took the W, as a matter of fact, i gave JSU the W and admitted the clips could back it, but a landslide? no, not at all. 2014 was a battle to remember between JSU and ASU, ian seen that heat outta JSU since they saw Southern last year at SWAC i believe it was ( i haven't looked at clips from this year if they saw SU before us) And as a bama state Trumpet player, its been awhile since weve been that agrresive in our playing. I give Southern the song selection at times, and execution at times, but don't act like ASU ain't crank up wit em and execute as well and clips can vouch for that, we ain't get hoed. So tell me wheres the pride in that, other than knowing im the shit on my horn, my section the shit, and that my band is no doubtley top 3 in the SWAC. @Amil
As a matter of fact, the crowd can vouch for that, its Bama state ppl who came to "watch us get hoed" and Jackson fans who came to see us put up or shut up, i think some state folks went home uptight and some Jackson fans impressed with what they heard. From their own band of course, but us as well.
