Alabama 52-6 over USC, making this USC's worst opening day loss in over 100 years, and USC's worst loss over the last 50 years. Alabama's record is now 6-2 against USC.
USC still won the ROSE Bowl over # 5 Penn state and finished AP #3 in 2016. Sam Darnold, the kid sitting on he bench while Max Brown played QB in this Alabama disaster, went on to save Helton and Tee Martin hiding the Ugly truth of just how lame each coach really was. For 2020 Should be a better game but USC still has to many holes , needs coaches, and Head Coach Helton if anything has progressively got worse as a coach with 13 wins in the last two seasons and only 1 out of the last 5 seasons achieving a Bowl win. USC with 1 bowl win in 5 years until helton LOL!!!!
@@RadicallyOptimistic USC in 2016 simply started the wrong QB in 2016. RE the Utah lost it was Sam Darnolds first real game and Utah score the Game winner with 16 seconds left. I would say thats far from a joke pretty competitive game for a first time QB. Darnold finished the rest of 2016 undefeated . Joke is a bit strong. More like USC could of been so much more with a actual head coach and offensive coordinator. As for Penn state they lost to a very pedestrian Pitt Team in 2016 coached by a first year OC
@@RadicallyOptimistic You need to clarify which coach Tee martin or Clay Helton as your using (Entirely his decision). USC does not use one coach to make the Season opening QB decision. 2.) 2019 Oregon won the Pac-12 and Rose bowl titles so USC is not butt hurt. They were the better team and won fair and square. No shame in losing to a better team. Oregon should of beat Auburn and the ASU lost in Tempe was largely because Justin Herbert was missing key receivers. Ducks are pissed about the lost given it cost them the playoffs. Oregon still finished AP #5. but could of been so much more. Penn state wise blew it with Minnesota and they to could of gone to the playoffs but shit happens in college football even with the best planning, As for the 2020 Alabama USC game provided its actually played with fans allowed to watch, I do believe Steve Sarkisian a former USC coach illegally fired and now the Alabama OC for Nick Saban coaching Alabama is gonna want some payback big time and ATT is not a location USC has fond memories of. USC has he 4th toughest schedule of the 2020 season and no offensive line once again so ugly lost to bama to open and a likely 7-5 to 8-4 best type season which concludes Clay Heltons role as the head coach of USC. USC could win a PAC-12 South but get crushed by Oregon twice in the same season. The Trojan fan base will not pay for tickets beyond 2020 so Helton has to deliver or he is greyhound bound to W.Kentucky with his brother coaching the hill toppers. 2020 Penn State looks to have a very strong rushing attack but will be surprised by Northwestern who returns a load of players. Penn wont cover the spread in this contest. Easy money game bet. Problem is Penn state has Kent and San Jose state plus Vagina tech so that won't impress the playoff committee. Ohio state wins the conference, a top 8 for Penn if all goes right. It was also mentioned James Franklin had some heart health issues and a scare so will keep an eye on how that plays out.
If I’m not mistaken, this is the game Blake Barnett got concussed in and that’s how we ended up with jalen as the starter despite his inconsistency in the passing game for a few years. Still very thankful for jalen and love the guy, he’s a role model, but I think that’s how it happened.
You probably dont care but if you are stoned like me atm then you can watch pretty much all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my gf for the last few months :)

Da Fresh Prince Stole Meh Bitch nah 2008-2009 2011- 2012 then 2015-2017 we were elite defensively 2010 2013-2014 were pretty bad and we’ve been really bad recently because of injuries/transfers and the draft
2 things: 1. I'm proud of USC for at least a quarter and a half, holding Alabama off and hitting them with some hard defense. How many teams asides Ole Miss can say that they've had a lead on Alabama for a whole quarter, they're just that good. 2. 0:51. Of all the things Washington may or may not be ready for, that there is something they just won't be ready for. No one has hit Washington the way Alabama is about to hit them. They do that to just about everyone.
Whole sale butt kicking. I am proud they Usc Trojans played dirty. Stomping on the BAMA player while on the ground got that Busted Rubbers a major embarrassment. Fuck around like a thug and you get beat like a thug.
UAT played DIRTY!!! USC was handicapped by the poor officiating which is wholesale bought and paid for each and every game by Ain't Nicky Satan. By the way, that was a great Clemson win by ole DABO!!! UAT got DABOED!!! The Moose lived that game!!! Finally, the Moose is great and FSU 42 to UAT 6. You heard it here from the great man himself.
Poor officiating had everything to do with that. USC was dominating the game until poor officiating calls turned the game. The officials also disqualified a young SC player who tripped while trying to help up a fallen UAT player. That really turned the game.
LOl ah my friend. The lack of knowledge you have is where Ray Charles can see it. Now odds are you are just being your typical troll self. But here is a few things from this game. 1. The USC offensive line got dominated this entire game. There was zero run game from USC. That was not on the officials. 2. USC defense gave up multiple huge plays. That is also not on the officials. maybe could argue one or two plays, but not as many as they gave up. 3. USC quit. Can not argue that fact. They quit, plain and simple. 4. And just as a bonus, Bama beat the 2 best teams from the worst Power 5 conference like they were Vanderbilt, or Purdue. Beat them like they were conference bottom feeders. USC is not Bama. USC is not Clemson, who yes beat us. And To think FSU beats us by 36 is insane. FSU can beat us for sure, just as Bama can beat FSU, but it will be a close game either way. Actually watch other teams play without your homer glasses on, and learn how to evaluate talent. There is not but maybe 3 other teams in the country, with the overall talent level Bama has. Depth matters. USC did not have it.
USC had this game but as a usc fan I expect usc to do better because usc had the early lead and they could of won the game they just didn’t take the chances that they had
Clive Gordon if you think a 3-0 lead is anything on bama then idk man usc definitely did not “have this game” they straight dominated after the 1st quarter
Shit I hope... miss the days when people feared the run defense now they like.. ehh. Imma run it. We need another Marcel Darius or ashawn Robinson for DT
@@cuhgaming4943 - Michigan won’t get past Georgia! Cinci will lose the battle in the trenches! It’ll be a rematch between Bama and Georgia and one thing we know is that it is incredibly difficult to beat the same team twice in a year!
Ironic how Barnett lost the job to Hurts and Hurts lost the job to Tagoviloa...Don't ya think? Hurts put up a good 2 seasons and we Bama fans love him for it, But it's TUA time now baby.
As much as I liked Hurts, he could not throw the ball at all - cost O.J. Howard & Ridley a lot of yards and receptions this year - something that I will always remember about this game was when Barnett came back in and nailed that pass to O.J. Howard - if Barnett would have stuck around instead of transferring , I really believe that he would have replaced Hurts in the 2nd half of the National Championship Game this year (2016) - after all those 3 and outs and not being able to convert a 3rd down in the 2nd half against Clemson that night - even tho Hurts was 2 minutes away from winning that game, I dont think it would have came down to that last drive if we would have had Barnett on the sidelines ready to come in and replace Hurts - what happened to Hurts in the 2017 National Championship Game should have happened a year earlier in 2016 Championship Game ( being replaced ) 🏆🐘 ROLL TIDE
@ 17:27 - The USC punter knew he better just fall on the ball instead of picking it up and running it, Bama's Hamilton and Jones would have knocked him into next week.
As a USC fan I'm watching this game because it was Heltons first game as full time head coach and this will be his next game coming on September 5th at the same place
This USC game was in 2016. Alabama last had the nation's #1 defense the next season, in 2017 when it won its 5th national title in 9 consecutive seasons under Coach Saban.
SEC for the 12th straight year placed the most in the NFL. Alabama place 12 in the NFL DRAFT. Sadly no other conference was close. SEC placed 53 the most of any conference again.
This game should've woken up USC AD Lynn Swann on what kind of players it takes to win a national title. Obviously recruiting nothing but athletic guys isn't going to beat a team like Bama. But here we are in 2018 and Lynn Swann's team is 4-4. Didn't learn shit
True. He sure threw a beautiful pass at 26:13, though. If he'd have stayed, Tua might not have made it to UA. Everything works out for a reason, it seems.
A@@AteOnoy USC finished with a decent record because they didn't have to play any more SEC schools. There best two schools in the PAC-12 that year were USC & Washington. USC finished #3 in the final AP poll and Washington finished #4 in that same final AP poll. Both teams were severely beaten down by Alabama, proving how dominant the SEC is over the sad, pathetic PAC-12. Call me when a PAC-12 team wins a national championship, or is even in the national championship game. Hopefully I'll still be alive in 50 years so I can receive that phone call from you!
RevAlSharptonz You SEC fans love to talk shit but when when USC was a powerhouse with Pete Carroll you bums couldn’t even beat them. Literally undefeated vs the SEC so I don’t want to here any crap from you people. And a PAC 12 team was in the title game in 2014 so you clearly don’t know what you are talking about.
From a Bammer- that guy played his ass off all night. Nothing but respect for a guy that didn’t quit, even when the score got out of hand. He’s a winner in my book!
same.. then i looked him up. 1st rounder. started his 1st year (2017), 70 tackles and a PFF rating placing him above average as a rookie (one spot behind fellow rookie Marlon Humphrey)
The only reason usc gets the 4 and 5 stars now is because of who they used to be. Their coach cant coach them up to their potential. And this game shows just how far from elite usc really is now a days.
That season started with this Saturday night blowout win and as the season progressed Bama looked more and more unbeatable until a mere six seconds left in the National Championship against Clemson. Suddenly, it was over. A dynasty took a rather grotesque blemish that prevented a year where Coach Nick Saban might have had his "best team" ever. The heartbreaking football tragedy that was. Alabama in 2016.

thought Bammie shared the 2011 title with LSU?? In 2012 Ohio State was 12-0-0 and won that natty?? in 2017, UCF beat Auburn .......and Bammie was demolished by Auburn and UCF was 13-0-0 and won that natty???
All i know is if that Darnold kid was in, shoot their already talking about the heisman trophy on this kid. I believe it would have been a much better game. Ive seen him play , he's good. Max Browne was a 5 star QB in high school , the number 1 QB recruit . Gatorade player of the year. Darnold came in the 3rd game against Utah, never looked back. Now, Max Browne transfered to Pitt after the 2016 season.
52-6 Alabama dismantled the dirty USC team. As soon as #40 stomped a BAMA player all hell broke loose. Alabama just turned it on in the second, third and forth quarter without slowing down. Act like a thug and you get beat like a thug.
Alabama's greatest undefeated team regular season as was the New England Patriots their undefeated team only both to lose in heartbreaking fashion . How does history great both teams over time? Interesting, isn't it?
i came here to watch this then saw one play with jalen hurts as quarterback and remember that i cant watch a jalen hurts game. he is so painful to watch and it blows my mind that people actually think he's good.

One minute Kirk Herbsreit says this was a game. Now, he has flipped to ABAMA being the #1 team is the country. ESPN and the rest of Sports should allow this guy to call call anything. Put him on the sideline. Hopefully he can do that.
SC was legit playing with them in the 1st half. Especially the USC defense was holding the Alabama offense. Bama wasn't really able to drive the ball down the field but USC gave them the two TDs on a coverage bust and a gift pick six. Unfortunately you can't spot a team as good as Alabama 14 points and expect to win. Things only went down hill from there. That said, I don't think anyone can say USC wasn't playing with them in the 1st half. Would be interesting to see a rematch now that USC switched QBs and looks way better on offense.

DPMixing they weren't giving them anything or toying with them... it's the first game of the year, both teams were kind of off, Alabama was starting off with two young inexperienced quarterbacks so they weren't playing well, make no mistake, the outcome would've been the same regardless, Alabama had them beat from the start strictly on defense.
As USC i got disgusted. Alabama laid the smackdown in my face. I thought we had a chance, boy was I wrong. I know lame duck Clay was overrated from the beginning
"Just the plays, minus the fluff." You cut out the USC offense entirely, and the last 3 quarters of our defense? Taking nothing from 'Bama... but you couldn't cut this game down enough for me to handle watching it.
