Wow! Those Tick Tocks were way too high off the ground Not! lol great stuff. Ive been out of RC helis for a few years, amazing to see how much more agile they are now with no flybar. Incredible technology.
you never cease to amaze with your skills. does this become 'riding a bike' at one point or another for you, just natural movements without thought or is it academic even at your level? thank you for the inspiration no matter how you do it. :)
Well, practice makes a perfect pilot...Excellent flight Alan! I am trying my orientations directed using Phoenix sim... its quite easy to fly 3D rather flying normal... :)
range depends on tx but usual is between 1km and 8km. uhf systems can reach around 20km. these heli's will fly higher than the real ones as it has such a huge power to weight ratio, above and beyond 8km high.
The sound of blades is like thunder man! its beautiful!!! heli is so far and you can still hear them fart! thats just amazing! you are running crazy amounts of Head speed man! what headspeed is it?
Alan... do you fly with governor?? and how many rev/min? 2250 rev/min?? Y have the 700 with 510kv motor, What is the best configuration of the ESC? governor or no governor using? thank you!!!
A 12S heli like this, still will easily pull 150 amps - 200 amps spike, I have seen it on esc graphs. A deans connector is not rated that high, I think like 80 amps or something but don't quote me. Go to bullets for such applications, it just makes more sense anyways if you want the most from your power system without any hindrances.
The motor was bogging BAD. Alan put some stink on it. No fault of his. Needs a big Scorpion or Xera. Not that the flight wasn't impressive enough anyway.
