Alastor vs ____ wasn't even close... 

I don't know if I'm underestimating Adam, this whole video was meant to show that the fight was an easy win for him I brought up the Lucifer comparison because episode 5 made a lot of people think Alastor just might be up there (deal with Lilith possibly giving him power etc.) where he wouldn't get blinked away by Lucifer. So bringing up how Lucifer easily handled Adam and Adam easily handled Alastor was meant to show that Al is just really cocky and will pick a fight with anyone Surviving a slash across the chest from an angelic weapon is impressive, but it only took one actual hit to nearly kill him

I see 2 things If the creators want him to be strong he COULD be a glass cannon and is super bad with actually taking damage or 2. Adam is actually one of the very strong people, due to being the first human and could've been given power or born with it so he just was superior to most, making it impossible for anyone other than lucifer or his daughter or lillith to do do damage or uh 3. They just can't be hurt by anyone unless it's angels, a king, queen, prince, or princess of hell or heaven and if it isn't that, they have to only be harmed by angelic things and that is all which wouldn't give Alastor a chance.

Not sure I'm glazing Adam when his OP powers (compared to sinners) are clearly put on display. Yes, Alastor got cocky, but so was Adam. He didn't even use his light beam attacks against Alastor, just his guitar axe. If Adam saw Al as an actual threat, it wouldn't have even been a full fight scene Give Alastor an angelic weapon and the element of surprise and he might win (see Nifty lol), but put them against each other face to face and it's not even close

I'm not saying Vox is definitely stronger than Alastor, I'm saying he canonically didn't beat Vox 7 years prior (regardless of the circumstances). I brought it up to recontextualize Alastor's power level, because I've seen a lot of people claim he's up there with the sins and such. If he was, he would've beaten Vox no matter the circumstance (Vees assistance or not)

I will accept your cope, with the caveat that I believe his clipped wings comment is referencing his deal keeping him in service to Charlie rather than restricting his actual abilities But we will just have to see what gets revealed and how things play out once season two drops!

@@AlFish The scene where Husk says Alastor is on a leash and Alastor gets very angry makes me assume its some deal for power with an unknown figure and not Husk talking about his deal with Charlie, but we will see in season two suppose

@@Hexie094 I believe you might've misunderstood me. I think his initial deal is in-part forcing him into service with Charlie. If the theories are correct and the deal is with Lilith, perhaps he got her help on the condition he looked after her or was perhaps instructed to watch over her newest project as a way to fulfil his end of the deal that was made. Essentially, right now I don't think his deal took away any of his power, but is perhaps forcing him to obey a command or responsibility. So the unclipping his wings would be giving him the freedom to actually do what he pleased instead of being confined to supporting the hotel.

Unfortunately, Alastor still would’ve lost. Let’s assume Alastor WAS armed with an angelic weapon. Adam would’ve noticed this and would’ve been more cautious since he knew he could be harmed that way. So Adam would have to try harder than he was when their fight initially began (he was obviously holding back since he could shoot literal beams of light). Now let’s assume Alastor was not restricted by his deal, if that’s even what his deal does. I doubt the deal would’ve affected his durability since he would obviously need it to defend Charlie and the Hotel. Alastor literally got one tapped by Adam’s weakest move. A guitar slash. So even if we buff Alastor’s damage output, he’s still getting one shotted. Truth is Alastor is what the JJK fandom would call a “fraud.” He toots his own horn and likes to show off against fodder. But when he has to fight someone of his level or higher, he falls short. His fight with Vox took place before we can assume Alastor made his deal (which means he wouldn’t be nerfed) and he didn’t even beat him. Again, we don’t know what caused the fight to end, whether Alastor was defeated or the V’s interrupted, but without nerfs he still couldn’t finish off a rival overlord.

It's certainly possible, but I have a feeling it's more like he's in service for something rather than restricting his actual powers
