Who's paying for all these pizza orders though? Doesn't the money have to go from a form of payment to the pizza place before they'll make your order and send it out to you??

The only time I have ever paid for a pizza order like that was for really big orders. For something like 100 dollars the pizza place wouldn't ask for payment up front.

As long as he's not being charged for the inconvenience. Also, WHY aren't food delivery places more proactive when they receive large orders?

$70-$100 is not a "large" order nowadays. A couple of 24 slice pizzas and you're in that $70 range. Restaurants can't be investigating every incoming call or they'd have no time to make the orders.

I had food coming to my house all the time and when I took the food right back to the restaurant where it came from in Edmonton they had no idea who even ordered it. they don't keep order records at all for skip the dishes, uber etc. which should be changed somehow

You know what. My wife used to get calls from a spoofed number selling fraudulent items. When my wife called back the number the cell phone user had no idea this is going on. The pizza 🍕 company needs to call back to verify the orders to make sure they ordered it. Consider this a 2 factor authentication. Because there is too much fraud going on

When I was a immature teen I ordered 200 dollar worth of wings to a guy I hated house and a bunch of pizzas with out cheese lol that was like 20 years ago.
