Well, I’d be willing to bet the people that treated the delivery guy were gone way before then so probably just innocent people left over getting screwed. Owner wasn’t even there, gave the driver I’m betting a pretty good chunk of change and lost his business.

I saw an article and it said that they were also selling unsafe cars that would break down right after buying it so their license request got denied. It also said that there was a report of domestic violence on the lot so yeah great people worked there.
I am so proud of this community. c: Edit: Thanks for the likes! I'm seriously tearing up right now. This is one of the only nice things that has happened to me this week.
they actually were forced to close the business a few years later, the owner lost his sales license, and was forced to pay back $450,000 to customers for ripping customers off. Police had been to the place over 350 times, mostly over the owner being violent towards customers. he tried to get his license back last Feb, but was denied.
There's hope, we've just got to spread reason and rationality. One day we will be free of things like religion holding us back, and we can truly prosper.
@@WhoThisMonkey Religion is the reason why we have good people. @@jimnasium452 They literally sold unsafe cars to customers and treated them like crap when they came back and said they failed inspections and wanted the car dealership to incur the cost of repairs. They were basically selling lemons and had a wealth of complaints for YEARS. The pizza guy even just put them on the radar nationwide for being rude, but they were already locally being investigated for selling bad cars.
In so many situations it is usually, but not always, rich people who suck. Most inconsiderate drivers? Rich people. Least generous? Rich people. Quickest to complain? Same. I'm 56 and have seen a lot. Thank goodness there are plenty of good types - even among the rich.
Asking Pizza shop to return change was cringeworthy but "insult and scorn" heaped back on that Pizza shop employee was just inhuman, they were sick and pyschos.
that crazy thing about it is that, here in California anyway, you wanna give around or at least 20% tip. what's 20% of $42? lololololzzzz Im glad their crappy used sales car lot got bombed with negative reviews. I'm sure someone drove buy and vandalized their cars with a few eggs too hahahahaha.
The total came up to 42 dollars, they gave two 20 dollar bills and two 5 dollar bills. My question is why even give TWO 5 dollar bills if they wanted one of them back?
@J Moore it's not better, it's bitter.... Each small group who get destroyed by this Social media outrage mob gonna gather sometime and turn in to a monster.... Trump is just example of it
RIght. Even if you expected ALL of the change back, why wouldn't you say something before he left. As a former pizza shop owner, I wouldn't have sent my driver back to put him in a bad situation. I would send it to them in a CHECK - haha. I am glad it worked out in this case for the driver and IT WORKED OUT FOR THIS USED CAR BUSINESS - CLOSED.

update: F&R Auto Sales is now officially out of business. The town refused to renew the owners license to operate after all the complaints were received. Justice was served.
I mean this was 9yrs ago, people changes, unless they still didnt change at all then its not really justice, its just twitter's mentality of ruining someone life to feel better about yourself
Maybe they want 7 dollars back and 1 dollar was the tip, hence they want it back. Probably in their mind "we already give you 1 dollar tip, so give back our 7 dollars"
As of 2017, they're out of business, shut down by the town of Westport due to multiple complaints. According to the town administrator, “[It's my] opinion that the town of Westport wouldn’t be well served by allowing F&R to continue to operate in the community.”

@Paul WT Well the greatest manager I've ever had in my life was a white woman who gave me a chance, promoted me several times and turned a job into a career because she saw that I busted my ass and was always willing to go the extra mile, I literally can't even begin to say how much I owe that woman so yeah that definitely makes sense...
If the total was $43 , and they gave him two $20’s & 2 $5’s, why the hell wouldn’t he think the rest was for him if they could have just given him just $45?
Stress could be the reason. Because nowadays business are really bad. Employees also face Uncertainty whether the business can go on and they still have a job To feed their family.
Nothing funnier or sadder than when a woman thinks she’s tough with a bunch of men-children behind her. She just had to say, hold me back, as the driver drove away. Nothing slimier than used car salesmen.
They were stupid enough to be assholes on camera over $7, so it stands to reason that they'd also be stupid enough to call the cops because of negative comments on a website.
G it was more like defacing that sign and having to take time and money to repair it, that could have been saved for other things like inventory and employees

Who was the smart guy that posted the video of the interaction? It had to be one of the dealer employees, not so smart now. Glad the pizza guy got support!
update: this dealership went out of business several years ago. The attorney general of the city it is in brought charges against them for selling unsafe vehicles, and they were fined $450,000. Not long after that, the city refused to renew their business license to sell cars and they were done. No surprise really, that people that would act like that were selling crap cars. Glad they got caught at it....
While I think they did not need to give the tip, they could have asked for their change back. They did not their fault. He is no mind reader. He though it was a tip. Especially with how they gave him the money.
They gave him 2 20s and 2 fives.. I would have also assumed the extra five is a top up for tips... Nobody would have thought they we too lazy to even count.
I delivered pizza for awhile and had someone say that to me. I just laughed and said go the fuck ahead. Like me, most guys do it as a second job and more often than not it's because we're friends with the owner. . I've given people their money back and taken the food because they were assholes.
The uproar caught the attention of the attorney general's office, and it turns out the dealership sold unsafe and defective used vehicles that violated Massachusetts laws relating to used auto sales. The business had to pay $450,000 in restitution and penalties to resolve these allegations, and then went out of business.
They didn't apologize because they felt bad, they apologized because they were trying to save their business after treating people like they're not people!
The thing is. They should've given him 2 20$ dollar bills and a 5. The bill was 42 and they gave him extra . If I was the manager of the pizza spot I would've told them to fuck themselves
@@firefixten4794 That's a open and shut comment you got there. They permanently closed down years ago and the founder is no longer allowed to start another business again.
My new pizza guy had a hell of a night before me, forgot my beloved carrot cake. I gave him a 20 tip on 12 and next day he left off 5 carrot cakes free.
The pizza guy here is right: why would you give him that second five-dollar bill if you just want him to give it right back? Makes no sense whatsoever.
The more embarrassing thing about this was they were the ones who actually posted the video with the intention of embarrassing the delivery guy. lol that worked out well for them.
They lost their jobs and the business went under, there’s no need to pile on them any more. The moral of the story here is treat people with respect, if not for them at least do it for yourself.
I'm just so damn confused what was going on in their heads. They gave him 2 $20's & 2 $5 for a $43 order. Any normal person would assume that's a tip because why would you not just take the extra $5 out before handing it to him? They're all complete morons.
"The total pizza bill was 42 dollars. The employees chipped in and gave him 50, leaving 7" now I'm no Terrence Tao, but those numbers ain't adding up lol
@@lafudge2929 I thought that was odd too, especially after they say "follow the math" :P They seemed rude, but the delivery guy should have at least started to give them the change. At that point a customer could say keep the change. What if they accidentally gave him an extra 20$ on top of the 2-$20's and 2-$5s. I've had drivers just assume that whatever I give them is a tip, and they just leave. Some delivery drivers try that hustle. Pisses me off and I call the company.
Been delivering pizzas for 11 years. $42 total Gives him two $20 and two $5 ($50 total) That always means 'keep the change' otherwise they'd have given him two $20 and one $5 ($45 total). The extra $5 is either a tip or a mistake on the customers part. Regardless, I always ask how they would like their change back? I bet the driver asked if they needed change back. Almost all drivers do.
Especially weird because those people don't seem like they're rolling in money. You think they'd have some appreciation for how hard that guy has to hustle to make a living. This kind of behavior out of rich, entitled jerks is unsurprising, but to see working stiffs do this is gross and disappointing.
@Ink 23 I really wish there was a recording of that phone call. The cops should have put on a police uniform on a nine-year-old and sent him to the scene to "investigate."
Dude no joke one time I paid the pizza delivery guy less money thinking I'm giving him enough and a tip along with it. Looked at the receipt and noticed I was paying around 50 cents less (in a different currency) had to run after the dude before he drove off and gave him extra. When I asked him why he didn't tell me, he was like. "It's okay it's only 50 cents I'll cover it" Why would someone be an asshole to the pizza delivery guy ;-;
Yup, been there done that, not worth it for a few dollars, I would remember to count out their money next time though. We never had anything mess with the food either in my 11 years in pizza delivery. Mostly good memories from very generous and friendly people.
Moral of this story never fuck with the delivery guy. I used to be a pizza delivery guy and I know this guys pain like how dare they they made him go back he lossed probably another delivery doing that.
I’m a delivery driver, and I love my job. But y’all would be surprised by how many no tips and extremely low tips we get. I think the lowest tip I’ve gotten (minus a no tip) was 25 cents, and that’s because we don’t carry coins on us. Some days are great, some days are terrible.

so if the total was 43. why did they give him 50 if they wanted change? if two of the bills were 5s how could he not assume it was a tip? why not just give him 45 instead? strange.
Update: The car dealership closed down years ago. Sadly, people are typing in the address and flaming a new, different business about a pizza delivery from 10 years ago, one that the new business has nothing to do with
How to turn seven dollars into 450K? Start a used car business. This place was shut down. The town later refused to let the business operate and shut them down after this video went viral and the complaints of them selling over one hundred bad vehicles. The Pizza guy may have saved hundreds more from these vultures for only seven dollars. The owner of the car lot was taken to court by the state and was required to pay back victims of those car sales of $450,000.
I’m disabled & can’t drive. I give EVERY delivery person a reasonable tip at the time of the order. Then once they deliver my food or whatever, I tip them directly. The businesses SAY the tip goes to the driver, but, I don’t trust anymore. I KNOW people who are driving bc they REALLY need the $. So, I make sure THEY are compensated for helping ME out! 🙂
" The guy in the blue shirt? Oh yeah, he doesn't work here. He just came in one day saying he's the boss and we all thought,' He seems very boss like ' "
I never did, as a server, but absolutely can confirm. If you don't know to not talk shit to low level staff...at least know to do it AFTER you've received ALL your food items. And this will piss some off but....if you decide to NEVER tip and go to the same place every week, multiple times a week........yeeeeeah. Don't hate the messenger. And I don't condone the actions, I just want to say these are still kids....they will absolutely get the last laugh on you.
