they actually were forced to close the business a few years later, the owner lost his sales license, and was forced to pay back $450,000 to customers for ripping customers off. Police had been to the place over 350 times, mostly over the owner being violent towards customers. he tried to get his license back last Feb, but was denied.
There's hope, we've just got to spread reason and rationality. One day we will be free of things like religion holding us back, and we can truly prosper.
@@WhoThisMonkey Religion is the reason why we have good people. If you read The Gospel, the rules of life are rules that people should strive to achieve, otherwise what goals would you have to become a better person if you were making terrible decisions? Why do you think religion is the main source of influence for addicts? Believing in something bigger than yourself allows you to feel accountable for your actions and having rules of life and nature allow for a functioning society, otherwise we'd just be a anarchist free for all.

In so many situations it is usually, but not always, rich people who suck. Most inconsiderate drivers? Rich people. Least generous? Rich people. Quickest to complain? Same. I'm 56 and have seen a lot. Thank goodness there are plenty of good types - even among the rich.
event happened in 2015 F&R Auto shut down in 2016 after their license renewal was rejected F&R Auto was forced to pay $450,000 in restitution and penalties in 2018 Lesson: Treat all people with the respect they deserve
@@jimnasium452 They literally sold unsafe cars to customers and treated them like crap when they came back and said they failed inspections and wanted the car dealership to incur the cost of repairs. They were basically selling lemons and had a wealth of complaints for YEARS. The pizza guy even just put them on the radar nationwide for being rude, but they were already locally being investigated for selling bad cars.
@Paul WT Well the greatest manager I've ever had in my life was a white woman who gave me a chance, promoted me several times and turned a job into a career because she saw that I busted my ass and was always willing to go the extra mile, I literally can't even begin to say how much I owe that woman so yeah that definitely makes sense...
@@PeachDragon_ Twitter is that one obnoxious girl that eats takis and calls everything sexist at school that everybody wants to violently strangle to death
RIght. Even if you expected ALL of the change back, why wouldn't you say something before he left. As a former pizza shop owner, I wouldn't have sent my driver back to put him in a bad situation. I would send it to them in a CHECK - haha. I am glad it worked out in this case for the driver and IT WORKED OUT FOR THIS USED CAR BUSINESS - CLOSED.
@@PalmersPicks-mz7tkI drive for Dominoes and my manager would never make me go back to return the money. If anything he would tell them they gotta come to the store and get it. I mean shit, it was the customers fault
Asking Pizza shop to return change was cringeworthy but "insult and scorn" heaped back on that Pizza shop employee was just inhuman, they were sick and pyschos.
that crazy thing about it is that, here in California anyway, you wanna give around or at least 20% tip. what's 20% of $42? lololololzzzz Im glad their crappy used sales car lot got bombed with negative reviews. I'm sure someone drove buy and vandalized their cars with a few eggs too hahahahaha.
The total came up to 42 dollars, they gave two 20 dollar bills and two 5 dollar bills. My question is why even give TWO 5 dollar bills if they wanted one of them back?
I remember when this video first went viral. I played my part. I left a 1 star review on their business on google maps, and yelp! I very rarely get my pizza delivered these days. After the tip, and fees, you're almost paying double for your pizza. NO THANKS! I'm more than happy to go pick it up at the store. But, on those very rare occasions when I get my pizza delivered, I always tip. Always.....
Marlon Brando Internet: you come to me and I ask you, why should i care for this “pizza guy,” on my youtube feed? Arrogant asses: “foot up your ass; motherf****ers job!” Internet:... alright imma give this pizza man some justice... and as for the rat den... i’mma make them an offer they can’t refuse.
You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little @ucked up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to $uckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?
If the total was $43 , and they gave him two $20’s & 2 $5’s, why the hell wouldn’t he think the rest was for him if they could have just given him just $45?
Stress could be the reason. Because nowadays business are really bad. Employees also face Uncertainty whether the business can go on and they still have a job To feed their family.
I’m not defending the car sales but shouldn’t all delivery drivers carry change incase of situations like this? I was a delivery driver and the store gives me change incase the customer doesn’t have the exact amount. The store would have given me 7 or 17 incase the customer had 50 or 60.
D. Rüesch thats weird where I’m from the only time you get a tip is if it’s like fact food like curry or something. Fast food like burgers or pizzas I barely got any tips.
update: F&R Auto Sales is now officially out of business. The town refused to renew the owners license to operate after all the complaints were received. Justice was served.
I mean this was 9yrs ago, people changes, unless they still didnt change at all then its not really justice, its just twitter's mentality of ruining someone life to feel better about yourself
They gave him 2 20s and 2 fives.. I would have also assumed the extra five is a top up for tips... Nobody would have thought they we too lazy to even count.
I delivered pizza for awhile and had someone say that to me. I just laughed and said go the fuck ahead. Like me, most guys do it as a second job and more often than not it's because we're friends with the owner. . I've given people their money back and taken the food because they were assholes.
They were stupid enough to be assholes on camera over $7, so it stands to reason that they'd also be stupid enough to call the cops because of negative comments on a website.
As of 2017, they're out of business, shut down by the town of Westport due to multiple complaints. According to the town administrator, “[It's my] opinion that the town of Westport wouldn’t be well served by allowing F&R to continue to operate in the community.”
so if the total was 43. why did they give him 50 if they wanted change? if two of the bills were 5s how could he not assume it was a tip? why not just give him 45 instead? strange.
G it was more like defacing that sign and having to take time and money to repair it, that could have been saved for other things like inventory and employees
Well, I’d be willing to bet the people that treated the delivery guy were gone way before then so probably just innocent people left over getting screwed. Owner wasn’t even there, gave the driver I’m betting a pretty good chunk of change and lost his business.
@@JBPVFL doesn't matter. They choose to work in such a terrible place. I'm guessing that wasn't the first time they treated someone that way. Speaks volumes of someone's character. And theirs? Just suck
@@brunopreto2750 so you are just going to lump everyone in as the same? Every job I have ever had has had asses, that doesn’t mean everyone from the janitor to the ceo is also an asshole and deserves to be jobless 😂
I saw an article and it said that they were also selling unsafe cars that would break down right after buying it so their license request got denied. It also said that there was a report of domestic violence on the lot so yeah great people worked there.
@J Moore it's not better, it's bitter.... Each small group who get destroyed by this Social media outrage mob gonna gather sometime and turn in to a monster.... Trump is just example of it
Been delivering pizzas for 11 years. $42 total Gives him two $20 and two $5 ($50 total) That always means 'keep the change' otherwise they'd have given him two $20 and one $5 ($45 total). The extra $5 is either a tip or a mistake on the customers part. Regardless, I always ask how they would like their change back? I bet the driver asked if they needed change back. Almost all drivers do.
life teaches you lessons over and over until you learn them and this is a fantastic case of always treat people with respect, regardless of your personnel feelings.
I never did, as a server, but absolutely can confirm. If you don't know to not talk shit to low level staff...at least know to do it AFTER you've received ALL your food items. And this will piss some off but....if you decide to NEVER tip and go to the same place every week, multiple times a week........yeeeeeah. Don't hate the messenger. The employees at these places are young, and (sometimes) make young (stupid) choices....about your food. NOT TRUE AT EVERY SINGLE ESTABLISHMENT! And I don't condone the actions, I just want to say these are still kids....they will absolutely get the last laugh on you.
This is why I will never ever buy a car from any dealership. Once I tried to low ball a dealer. He threatened to beat me up. So, I never went to another dealer after that encounter. Now, I only buy a car from a private seller.
While I think they did not need to give the tip, they could have asked for their change back. They did not their fault. He is no mind reader. He though it was a tip. Especially with how they gave him the money.
They didn't apologize because they felt bad, they apologized because they were trying to save their business after treating people like they're not people!
The thing is. They should've given him 2 20$ dollar bills and a 5. The bill was 42 and they gave him extra . If I was the manager of the pizza spot I would've told them to fuck themselves
@@firefixten4794 That's a open and shut comment you got there. They permanently closed down years ago and the founder is no longer allowed to start another business again.
I’m disabled & can’t drive. I give EVERY delivery person a reasonable tip at the time of the order. Then once they deliver my food or whatever, I tip them directly. The businesses SAY the tip goes to the driver, but, I don’t trust anymore. I KNOW people who are driving bc they REALLY need the $. So, I make sure THEY are compensated for helping ME out! 🙂
When handing him the $50, there was an additional $5 dollar note in there that they could've just left out. Why purposely hand him the $5 like that only to have him drive all the way back?
The more embarrassing thing about this was they were the ones who actually posted the video with the intention of embarrassing the delivery guy. lol that worked out well for them.
@@samthompson3714 I get that, but in their defense, it’s not hard to get fired up watching this. Humans are generally terrible by nature, and seeing something like this just backs that up. Humans are insecure tyrants who like hurting others. In my opinion, the pizza delivery guy was well within his rights to start throwing haymakers at ever fuckhead in that office. That’s the best they deserve. I hope this video haunts them for the rest of their natural life.
@@omcorc sure I get that its easy to get fired up but I think its always best to equal your response to the initial issue otherwise you end up with cyclic escalation and thats how real problems end up happening. Outside of the context you would say somebody receiving a death threat puts them well within their rights to respond somehow so you can see how that would become cyclic. This happens a lot and its honestly sad because I mean there are instances of people getting killed over what started as an incredibly minor transgression and escalated to murder. At the end of the day the staff were scumbags but they got what they asked for no need for anyone to try to 1 up the repercussions. If the pizza guy threw hands he'd be charged for aggregated assault. He'd also be wildly outnumbered and risking his life. I'm sure I shouldn't be taking it this seriously but idk just seen too many people react like that recklessly and it doesn't ever end well.
