Alden Barrie Last: A Closer Look 

Which last has a lower instep? The Barrie, Trubalance or the Modified? My issue with the Trubalance is they fit well from balls of feet to heel and in the toes but too much room in the instep resulting in lacings coming to close together.

I actually go with my regular size. A half size down would be a bit too tight for me. But of course, foot shape varies.

I tried both the 7.5 and 8 on the Barrie last. Since my feet tend to swell I went with the 8.

the worst online shoe market, their behavior to the customer was the worst, and didn’t send me original shoe box and dust bags. and when I return 3 wrong items they charged shippings and restocking fee x3 though it was their fault

I never go down a half size with the Barrie last. When I try them on, they are not as comfortable as my regular size.

Is this shot in 1950 ?

I think this is a very ugly last. If you take the same Alden design and use an Aberdeen last and then compare it to the Barrie, the difference is striking.
