Aldrich is actually kind of overpowered. He has superhuman strength, breathes fire, can cut through steel using heat, regenerates and is incredibly agile
I think he could of been the first test subject for Extremis. It’s possible as to why he is overpowered & seems to have more powers than other Extremis soldiers. I don’t know that’s just my theory.
In the comics he died to a gun...that he pulled the trigger to...in the first couple of pages...he isn't even a real IronMan villain, and this film was a waste of my time and life.
Many People didn't like this movie, but this dude was cool af and Extremis was NUTS. Dude was incredibly strong, could cut through an iron man suit with his hand, wolverine like regenerative abilities, immune to heat and could breath fire.
Exactly I don't know why MCU chose to forget about this extremis project. You could have another great antagonist that recreates the extremis for himself.
@@n00bslayer97 hell no lol he’s generic rich baddie number 488 give me a enemy with a suit. That way he…. Actually related to Ironman. Should of kept Stane alive and brought him back for this movie. Or even keep Killian as a secondary antagonist.
@@LunaticLuni He actually relates to Iron Man through sharing his same archetype; he's a hyper-intelligent man who wants to improve the world through his vision, believing he knows what's right. He's simply a corrupted version of the archetype, and in that way his relation is much more apt than simply being another dude in a suit. This is also backed up by the fact that he's the only villain that goes for Pepper romantically, he's literally supposed to be a villainous mirror of Stark.
I used to hate Iron Man 3, mainly because of the bait n switch, I.e. promisong us the Mandarin but it turning out to be a Fake... THAT n the ending (Didnt like that Iron Man had to be saved by Pepper, feel free to disagree but think the film woulda been better if it left Killian Dead after the MK1 armour self distructed, but I guess they had to introduce Pepper as Rescue some time) Looking back and judging Iron Man 3 on its own merit, I would probably agree with uour take I think people wouldve been more accepting of Iron Man 3 IF Marvel had followed it up and gave us an ACTUAL Iron Man vs the REAL Mandarin from Shang Chi that Marvel had promised.
I don't care about the story. The insane childish and cheap humor in Iron Man 2 was enough to make it the worst movie in all of the MCU. Couldn't take anyone seriously, Iron Man or Whiplash with that bird of his.
This guy was a great villain. Don’t get the hate. And his powers are awesome. I’ve never seen powers like this where the guy himself just literally can heat his body
@@robertavila1863here after secret invasion episode 2. You hit the nail on the head dude. I hadn’t watched Iron Man3 so I didn’t know what Extremis was when it showed up on screen. Guess they’re going with that DNA for the super skrull since Johnny Storm isn’t in the MCU yet. That was a pretty creative pivot.
One of the greatest Pepper Potts killing blows...I keep hearing, "Finish Him..." Her greatest entry had to be in Endgame when she landed beside her husband and lifted the faceplate and then the two tandem in mid-air launching blasts at Thanos' goons. Pepper has always been underrated.💖💯🙏🙊🙈🙉🎶😻🔥⚡️💖
@@TheSoldier1984 What if Ozai is gonna get his firebending back from the Galra’s purple flame when he is going to give his new army a new power of fire bending too by becoming the Extremis Phoenix King who has the regeneration of his new body for growing his limbs that just happened to Aldrich Killian, that’s gonna be awesome if we can still see the former Fire Dad.
FACTS Guy Pearce is underrated. It sucks that Marvel wasted him to play a corny supervillain. If he was cast in a DC movie. He'd be a great Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice
This guy Aldrich killian is my favorite supervillain in the movies and comics and books and he’s still my favorite but sadly his death came in but his badass died witch is good and bad but he’s a ceo and he’s the ceo of the company dam rip tho Aldrich killian I repeat rip to Aldrich killian
@dankali735 nah. Killian was only in Earth-616 and shown twice in the Extremis storyline: once in a fleeting cameo introduction, and the second and last time was showing his dead body after he killed himself. He's never been important nor shown out of his very short appearance in that one comic. And some moron made him the main villain for Iron Man 3.
@@dday906he also unnecessarily appears in Lego Marvel Superheroes in the Stark Tower level where his entire job is to be an annoyance while the real fight is against the Mandarin lol
I didn't think this was a great movie at the time, but it's grown on me. I think it's because Disney has drained the life out of the MCU, and movies like this shine brighter because of it.
This movie was a unique concept ..lava inside flesh was very new to audience ..and Ironman god partical discovery in previous movie was a super hot scene 😊
Interesting that tony must’ve added a fight analysis scanner after his encounter in iron man 3 struggling with killian, cause he managed to beat cap in civil war
Has ranged weapons... Kept fighting mostly hand to hand... I also loved how he randomly breathed fire in one random scene, a power no one else displayed, and also never did it again. Almost as if the writers has a gap in the scene and someone went "Hey why dont we make him spit fire at Rhodey".
Or, you know, it's just not that useful. Unless he can spit the power of a jet engine he's not going to kill anyone by breathing fire on them, it takes too long. Punching them with 1000 degrees fists is way more effective.
@@vergil8833 Unless someone is dodging all your hands-of-doom, so you need something faster to actually hit and hurt them before you can finish them off.
@@Bookslayer10 A fist is faster than a fire unless, like I said, he has the power of a jet engine shooting out of his mouth. But that wouldn't even burn people, it would push them like a Fus Roh Dah.
Some people say they thought he would make a great Cyclops on the X-Men team like it recyclops like the comic book one that actually back in the 90s and stuff late night was usually popular he had that great hair he used to whip the hell out of people in more likely to kick somebody to punch somebody it's supposed to be like really good shape and everything like f****** Battle Commander a lot like Captain America really.
3:26 “ Well here we are on the roof “ that referenced Where Tony should have been instead of being a ass to Killian and Tony never went up to him like he said he would.
Very cool scenes and moments in this but like... why would War Machine's suit conveniently go from working to not working and back again. Why was Tony in a FIST FIGHT against Aldrich when he could kill him from a distance... so much in this movie made my brain hurt.
