Remember him in right field earlier in the season interacting with Yankees Fans, Verdugo is literally one of the nicest dudes in the league, fans gotta control themselves
I am, and as a Yankees fan who's been going to games since the 80's, total embarrassment. The trash talk is classless enough. Verdugo's nice enough to engage a bit with everyone and toss out a free ball and gets this in return. Whoever threw that baseball should be charged with assault.
I love how the Yankees fans are making fun of Verdugo for not being as good as Mookie Betts. They have almost identical stats this season. (except for the fact that Betts makes $22m+ and Verdugo makes $600k....so good for the Red Sox for that one).
I'm a Yankee fan but most of all , I'm a baseball fan first.I just never felt the need to do this to any opposing player.I guess some people are just wired differently in between the ears and then when you get alcohol involved you get instant idiot. It's a game folks , no need to attack a player on a personal level.I can guarantee if any of those fans was walking down a dark alleyway and came across Verdugo , they wouldn't say a peep. That's a professional athelete that would wrap your friggin mouth shut.So don't hide in the stands and act like a tough guy people. P.S. - For all the people in comments saying that Yankee fans are trash...... there are idiots in every ball park across the country.By saying that , you yourself sound like one of them.
I'm a lifelong NYY fan; I wish Alex Verdugo was playing for us. This, the most boring team ever (mis-)assembled, could sure use his fun spirit - and his big bat. BTW, does anyone else think it funny that a bunch of slobs eating nachos and drinking beer in the stands are yelling that kinda crap at a big league ballplayer standing in left field? Obviously, he did.
Classless Yankee fans. I used to go to Rays games all the time before the Rays were good. I mean, we were almost always in last place. And after losing to the Yankees, the Yankees fans on the way out would always taunt friendly, quiet Rays fans. I was like, "Congratulations, your billion dollar empire of a team beat a small market team in last place. Job well done. Great job."
Had a feeling ppl in the comments here would be triggered by the heckling lmao. Who gives af. It's all fun and games. Verdugo was having fun. No need to get your panties in a wad folks. If I was a player honestly I'd love to be heckled. My dad and brothers would be right there heckling me with them lmao
@@bluefalcon3ID No, stop it! These "young talents" are ruining the game with their batflips. Tatis and acuna are showboats and are a disgrace to the integrity of the game! They need lessons on being humble!
Loved by children and respected by the elderly, american by birth, mexican by choice. And of course a Red Sox. Is there something that young man does not do well?
@@dannycass7931 Even he can't speak spanish properly. Compared to Adrián González in his time when "Titán' decided to play for Mexico, at least he could speak Spanish.
Most of them probably dont even know who he is.. Saying “wheres your ring” like give the team time💀 i love drunk fans tho cant wait until i can get wasted at a sox game
@@Jbscoops Seeing Yankees games on TV in the past, with fans being jerks, made me a bit apprehensive as a Sox fan going to games at the Stadium. But in general the fans l encountered were pretty friendly and just there to enjoy the game. Every fan base has its share of a**holes, and unfortunately, they seem to always be the one who get the spotlight.
This the reason i stopped going to these games, theirs always someone acting like an idiot after there 1st beer, sure the next day big shot wont remember a thing.
Yea then the Sox went on to sweep them….and then sweep them AGAIN….now they’re in first place…not just AL East but in all of baseball…..yanks emptied thier piggy banks and tried so hard to buy a world series cuz they’re desperate…yet they still suck😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
