So i was in the bathroom and looked at the mirror and thought it would be great if they made smart mirrors. This is really close to what i was imagining, i would have used the entire webcam or maybe even a Microsoft Kinect to get depth. There would have to be some nifty programming involved, but you could ask alexa to take a snapshot of your progress for weight loss or hair styles or even makeup tutorials/virtual fitting room. Obviously you would want the entire mirror to have an LCD/OLED screen behind it so it could show you Augmented reality as well (for tutorials or progress checking or virtual fitting room). This is truly an amazing project you have here.

put tape over the spot before you drill through, use a smaller bit to create a guide hole also helps and if you clamp a scrap piece on the backing (where you're drilling through to) helps prevent blowout for a clean look.

PlumpPlatypus In a way he works for google because RU-vid is owned by google. However, I don’t see any ads on this video which means he made nothing off of this, but his other videos might have ads. It’s definitely not because of demonetization because he doesn’t curse or have any type of inappropriate content (at least that I know of). It’s probably because he thinks he is going to make little too no money of of this, but it went viral! Also before this went viral he could of been a small channel (bellow 1000 subs) which means youtube won’t let him put ads on his channel, but take this all with a grain of salt because this is my first video watching him.

Probably not. This is more of a novelty item that SOME will use. There's no need for a smart mirror that would potentially cost a lot of money when during that same time, phones will become a lot more powerful.

List it as a smart mirror and you're done the end, you can sell almost anything on amazon, and you aren't modifying it too much, i dont even see where he put the Alexa or how he did that either
