I have never seen anyone play the piano the way Alexander Gavrylyuk does here; particularly, the Paganini Variations by Brahms,some of the most inexorably difficult piano music ever written. Maestro Gavrylyuk's charm and wit, along with his 'steel and chiffon' technique shine brightly, eclipsing any other performance of this piece that I've ever listened to, in all of my 75 years. A splendid triumph, Maestro Gavrylyuk! Thank you peterpels2 for posting this absolute gem.

Will come back and watch the whole concert when I get the chance, but his Rachmaninoff sonata was absolutely stunning. He has such an incredible control of the sound.

I love the finish and "rounding" of his sound. Had heard him on Rach 3, and think he should be more often streamed online.

Oh, why so cautious with the Mozart, as if he's afraid of breaking it? But orvillewrightjr is [w]right: the Paganini Variations are astonishing. An awesome talent. Thanks for posting.
