I was pleased to hear excerpts from German composers, Brahms, Schubert and Schumann. For a long time I've been concerned that his repertoire was, with exceptions (Chopin, Liszt, Saint-Saëns, Gershwin), confined to the Russian school. Nothing wrong with that, and his interpretations of Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Medtner, others, are superb, as these are closest to his heart. (What are the chances, do you think, that he will do a US tour in the near future?
@@paulstrickler5684 I’m also pleased to hear him play German music. His Mozart & Bach are amazing from his very young age. Alexander always follows his heart to play music. Currently he’s obsessed with Russian music,so we have to wait. 😉 He scheduled to USA last year, but due to the lockdown, all had been cancelled. 😔 As long as everything is back to normal, suppose he will re-schedule soon.
I think he's one of the greatest pianists, from the first time I heard him on youtube I was overwhelmed by his talent, as a pianist, as a musician, indeed he IS the music he plays on the piano, in the most natural way I've ever seen! I'm looking forward to go to his concert in the Netherlands in december 2021😃🎹!
Malofeev is extraordinary, pianists like him only show 1 time every 100 years, sure he has a lot to learn he is still very young but he's really a genius 🌹💐🌹💐💐💐 Chopin's marche fúnebre was Exquisite, bravoooooo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Eve, thank you for this beautiful collection!!! Also the words of Alexander from an interview that you entered in the description! He seems such a kind and thoughtful young man!
Очень люблю творчество саши.он вырос на наших глазах,превратившись не только в красивого человека,но и прекрасного музыканта.пожелаю ему только благосклонности судьбы.все остальное у него уже есть
13:09 - 13:27 ...Alexander when he's totally feeling the music. I adore watching him as he completely loves the music and the melody. What a talent, what a performer, what a musician!
I’m always so thankful for his sensitive music. It heals a lot when I’m in a black mood. The moment you mentioned is so soft & poetic. I’m almost in tears while hearing it.
Александр Малофеев - сама музыка... Рождён, чтобы чутко слышать её, глубоко чувствовать, тонко понимать и щедро дарить. И как он это делает - просто волшебно, фантастически.. Этот пианист - чудесный божественный подарок этому миру..
Hello Dear Eve, I am a new subscriber to your channel from my recent appreciation of Alexander. I just today saw this post which came through RU-vid algorithms. My introduction to classical instrumental music started with animated films of the 1930's through 1950's. If you see this comment, please know I enjoy your input on all channels covering Alexander, thank you for your support of his genius.
@Doggle Thank you.I'm glad you enjoy them all. I start listen to classical music a long time ago and have many favorite musicans. But to be honest I don't expect I would be so much obsessed with a living star. I discorvered the great Alexander 4 months ago and immediately fall in love with his music. Every piece is stunning. I can't get enough of them and have to share these amazing to all. He has charisma to all.
Сашенька, пожалуй, самый яркий представитель нового поколения русской фортепианной школы. Мы очень рады,что она продолжает жить и не скудеет на таланты. Браво,Александр!
An incredible honor to be in the master class of the greatest titans of classical music remembrance of Vladimir Horowitz Meets Sergei Rachmaninoff, Jascha Heifitz Schubert, Brahms, Bach, Yehudin Menuchin Colloboration ethnomusicologist with Ravi Shankar East Meets West. Lifetime dedication to your music acumen, graceful ballet piano technique bel canto alternating hands, inspire the next generation of fledgeling artists grand feat.
BRAVISSIMO, BRAVO, BRAVO!!! and Thank you, thank you for all that you play for us and all the the many hours you devote to your music. Please take good care of yourself. Get plenty of rest, and sleep, and relaxation, and lots of sunshine. May God bless you abundantly and embrace you with his loving heart. ❤️ Sincerely, Carmela Rugel
Thanks. Very very much you mâke life incredible for my 65 years with musique i appreciate but words are useless Again Merci Beaucoup beaucoup Martine France 73 years And still passion..
Merci...
Greetings! So I read somewhere that Alexander will be performing in Italy this month (March). Hopefully he will be in the USA this year also -- maybe if I email him and plead!! lol =)
Ahhhh..Holy! I just find new updates from his website!! There will be Rach 3 this month! He has a busy schedule in late March. Trust he will satisfy since the long pandemic.😂
Focus⁰³ 9:43 Medtner. One of his best. His recent 2020 playing shows the education he's getting is good for his long range success. Hope it works. Like to see him compete?
Alexander is attracted to Medtner so much, though he knows his compositions are not as popular as others while abroad. He tries to play them whenever he can. Compare to the one he played at his age 15,now it's much more developed. More beautiful,poetic,delicate.. I’m pleased to see the development and look forward for more. After Dorensky,I’m a bit worried, but who knows how deep he will develop.
@@evewong3221 thank you for that thought through comment Eve wong . We all we know Malofeev and the past situations hopefully his school will guide him and most who watch him want the best for him. I am usa and youtube is great no matter where we live. Best Robert
