So amazing to see her defy her critics who said she wasn’t going to keep up the quads past juniors. She is a once in a lifetime treasure and is amazing too see her excel the sport of figure skating!

Просто невероятно. Космический уровень. Великая и легендарная. Равных как и не было так и не будет ей. To say that any of the Japanese Ladies lack skating skills compared to Vincent and Nathan is such a sexist take get tf out of here. Also, don't say shit like that when Nathan is the best in the mens field, I would love to see you come up with a sexist take comparing Sasha with Shoma in terms of jumps.
@@biggestgymfan7230 Nailed it, she is always perfect during the practice, but never succeeded to make clean the first jump during the competition. The recent success of all 5 quads during test Skates in Chelyabinsk of course is remarkable by its own merit, but the real test comes during the competition. I think this partially explains why Eteri went to all this trouble with Covid, visas and etc bringing right now Trusova to the US-so she could practice what she preaches,, with both the practice runs and competition. I hope Shura matured enough to psychologically withstand all the pressure.
@@dariakukhar1595 Very partially, actually)) Eteri just needed an excuse to accompany her daughter Diana at her first senior competition, and Sasha had the US visa. For Sasha it's good anyway as a competition environment and a jetlag training before Skate America.
@@dariakukhar1595 I totally agree. This is the kind of competition where you can try risky programs. But she had clean performances of programs at the Russian championship when she was with Plushenko, although there were only 2 quads.
She brought the quads, but what I am EVEN more impressed by is her improvements in her skating skills!! No, it's not the best, but there is no more wobbliness that was so distracting before. Plus her programs are by far the best from Sambo-70. My dream is still for the 3As to sweep the Olympic podium and I think it's Trusova's turn this year
@@edukid1984 agreed, I still cannot wish her gold, because the atristry is still not quite there, but she's getting better every year and this program fits her so well. If she stays clean during competitions (she has some kind of mental block for them, she was always clean in practise), than she will be unstoppable this season.
@@Deni-mt9bj Nathan Chen in his younger days used to be lacking on the artistry side too. But then he found a style that fitted well with his balletic training and body lines and now he's considered very good (if not quite brilliant-level good) in that department. Let's hope Sasha displays a similar trajectory of growth down the road; at least, physically, she seems to have the goods for the long haul.
@@edukid1984 Nathan Chen was never considered lacking artistry, people just didn't appreciate his low key style when he kept falling every now and then, compared to Yuzuru's elaborate costuming and jump perfection in those days.Then Yuzuru started making mistakes with his jumps and Nathan became superman....skating clean improves artistry perception by leaps and bounds.
@@edukid1984 Er, have you ever watched a junior or novice program of Nathan's?? Quite the contrary, he was always lauded for his artistry and used to receive among the highest PCS even though his jumps weren't always up to par with the (usually older) rest of the field back then. And even in his quad-heavy late junior/early senior days he was never even close to Sasha's very mediocre SS and performance skills. I think she's fun to watch and her grit is exciting, but everything else...
Wow - Sasha's jumps are better than ever. And here is the thing, she's not a tiny little junior anymore, she has grown up. So many "experts" predicted she would loose her quads after puberty. Just mindblowing that the quite opposite seems to be the case: She continually improves her arsenal of ultraC jumps. No one deserves it more than Sasha. So happy for her 🤩
@@kdcm6690 both girls are outstanding athletes, Sasha with her jumps, Kami with her skating and rotations. The sports is Figure Skating, not Jumping, so it seems that the final say is with the judges and prevailing tendency in the World FS, what people are hungry for-artistic presentation, flow on the ice, some jumping to display sportsmanship, but in the end of the day, still traditional FS, or breathtaking athletic performance, with unbelievable number of Quads, but leaving out something that we all love in FS, a keen to Ballet, when the story is told by dancing artists, no words pronounced, you just watch their facial expression, their gestures, twists, and hands. Kami’s hands speak out more than words. Alyeona and Anya are also great at that, but Sasha is from the other world of FS. Personally, can’t decide for myself which type of FS I prefer, I think we are fortunate to observe both. And judges, good luck at OG!
with 4Lz+1Eu+3S in the second half sasha is aiming for the most expensive element in history of skating (although she already owns this record for ladies, with 4Lz+3T +3 GOE in the first half, and 19 something points, but with 4Lz+1Eu+3Sx she might get more points than any of the men's elements)

I don't think Valieva is out of the race just yet. That Rippon 3A at the Russian test skates was just a sample of what she's capable of. She grew quite a bit though, so we'll see.
@@MC-pm3gp I think the problem is the difficult layout in free. Her 4S doesnt seem ready and she seems to lose confidence after she falls once. I think they should remove 4S and keep two 4T’s and add the second 3A. Her 3A is literally perfect and she has other qualities too it is going to be more than enough for her to be in top shape

She's not yet unbeatable. A girld with 3A and 3 quads (Kamila for example) will beat her even if Sasha lands everything. But if she adds some choreo to her FS and 3A also, then yes, only her own mistakes may prevent her from winning.
@@praetorrus But two 4Lz one in combo clean with high Geo and plus +10% because of second half. She will get points like hell. The difference in points for Aesthetic expression etc. will be not a lot between Kami and Sahsa. Not like in Russian Nationals etc. Kami first senior Season is also not positive for the points as well. The judges know this. Kami can beat Sasha but also she first have to bring it down to the ice. With all the pressure and 15 years of age. When Sasha have a good SP with an Clean 3A Kami have to beat her in points in the FS. Taff Taff with 15 4-5 Ultra C on the Big stage Olympia 🤔
The main thing is that competitors from other countries do not give up and improve their technique! There is no need to be afraid, we must strive. This is an Olympic sport, not a show. Good luck to all! Sasha is the first, but this is temporary. I am sure that soon there will be girls who will be able to catch up with Alexandra at least nominally, and this will already be good!

@D absolutely agree. It will come a bit when she is done with 100% stability on the quads. But female FS will be never be like bevor. And it's OK. It's starts to be Boring it's black swan Nr. 24 etc.. Sasha is the best what happen for FS. Her revolution makes it popular again around the world. @@esmahamsa1216 I love Trusova. Figure skating is a balance artistry/ technic... She should work more her PCS in the FP to be the best ever. For me, Valieva is more complete and has better chances to achieve that prominence.
Haters gunna say an emphasis on jumps is killing figure skating. On the contrary, Trusova's success will make figure skating more popular than it ever has been.
@@hannibaljustincase9985 trusova will go viral for sure but yes, i do agree with your statement. the popularity in russia will skyrocket tho. we will see more and more talented russian skaters in the near future. theyll probably reign in figure skating the same way they were undefeated in rhythmic gymnastics and synchronized swimming for at least 20 years.
I don't get hater. Mens figure skating have evolved technically for decades and they see it as a revolution of a new era, but when it's the ladies, they criticise saying that it has taken away artistry. Maybe yes but it's easier to improve in artistry than doing difficult jumps, so skaters like Sasha still have lots of time to improve on that
Hold up did I just see her do a quadruple Lutz half Loop triple sow combination in the second half after doing a quadruple lutz-triple toe combination also in the second half and started with a quadruple flip then a quadruple sow, then quadruple toe loop? Она очень поняла, что прокат зависит только от неё. Только она сама и тренеры тут ни при чем. И Саша почувствовала, что она артистична. И умеет внутренне быть свободной и раскованной. И она реально изменилась и почувствовала себя по настоящему сильной.
@@olgashcherbachenko7934 она устаканилась в стремительном за прошлый год росте, ну и бушующие гормоны подутихли. У Плющенко она набралась артистичности ,да и техника чуть поменялась, из- за роста опять же. Этот переход необходим ей был, чтобы самой понять как двигаться дальше. Пришла в родные стены с пониманием и реальным осознанием - это моё и другого не надо и гонора поубавилось. А насчёт"тренеры ни при чем" это вы погорячились! Здесь фелигранная над ней работа технарей и постановщиков. Она оочень выросла ! На своей детской технике она бы далеко не ушла. Об этом и говорил Плюшенко, что вместе с сантиметрами приходится менять прыжковую технику, т.к.центр тяжести постоянно меняется в пубертат. Ну и Сашина фанатичная упёртость сделали в купе своё дело. Лишь бы не сглазить её! Всем кто над ней работал поклон до земли!

This girl made a miracle with the 5 quadruples and cantilever of spiral, beautiful stpessequences, spins and many choreo elements between the jumps, but 'haters'' aren't yet satisfied and still talk about Sasha's ''empty programs''.

@@videogamesplayersclub8028 это спорт, в основе его соревноваться и побеждать, в противном случаи он не имеет смысла. Их не зря называют соревнования, а показать себя можно после "битвы", когда уже победил или проиграл. Есть ещё вариант показать себя на сцене большого драматического театра, ну это уже другое.

Но объективно говоря, на этом соревновании у неё попросту нет соперниц, мастер-класс. Вот почему и говорю, что не стоит из этого устраивать "битву" в стиле "покажи им всем там". Саша ведь не с Ченом будет соревноваться :)

@@mitayzaev3081 I was pesimistic before that she can land quads consistently but after 3 years she still can do it. Anna is no longer capable of doing it, I bet she can't because injuries and bad technique compared to Sasha. On the other hand Sasha even though she has been jumping quads the most than the other girls, is relatively injury free. She is very athletic and her body is capable to endure so much stress and recovered as quickly as possible.

Мы должны гордиться,что именно у нас в данный момент есть такая феноменальная спортсменка.Однако,у себя на Родине Саша вместо любви и уважения получает от некоторых оскорбления и недовольства.Наверняка живущие в России и тут наставили дизлайков.Любая страна в мире мечтала бы иметь у себя такую Сашу.

@@rop888 Sasha's prerotation is not really that massive- her 180° may not be textbook but this isn't really as jarring as Anna's prerotation can be for example. And she has a lovely outside edge on her Lutz.

To all the peeps complaining about lack of artistry. You guys be watching Queens Gambit and complaining there's too much chess play. We are here for the jumping, and she delivers.
Her artistry is SO much better and this music allows her to be athletic and edgy. I just want a black and white costume, but I'll bet Eteri is planning one with a reveal!
well, but figure skating is not really a jumping contest. that's part of the issue. you may be here for the jumping, but not everyone is, so people will complain.
Саша под прессингом лучше мобилизуется. К тому же она уже давным-давно прошла эту стадию, когда завышенные ожидания приносят разочарование и научилась отделять эйфорию от действительной уверенности, ещё в Юниорах ей это все досталось по полной программе :) Доказательством тому Бронза на ЧМ в Стокгольме.
@@videogamesplayersclub8028 По-моему, как раз и не научилась отделять эйфорию от действительной уверенности, иначе и на соревнованиях бы показывала стабильные прокаты, а не только на тренировках. И бронза была выиграна, потому что терять уже было нечего, она успокоилась и как раз показала все, что умеет. Психолог с ней должен работать не меньше, чем тренер. Я так понимаю ситуацию.
Ну, не весь же сезон Валиевой одной этот груз тащить. Сейчас Саша, потом, может, Аня восстановит квады и прыгнет парочку - о ней будут говорить; потом Алёна выучит всё-таки свои дороги в произвольной, укатает зал под Вивальди с парой трикселей - снова инфо-бомба взорвётся. Короче, как у велосипедистов:) Нас ожидает грандиозный сезон!)
Her 3A looks also massive and consistent. If she puts that in the FS she have 6 ultra C elements. I don't think someone can beat that 🤔 Nathan ok on a good Day. But I guess that's it. Clean she can reach around 190 points just in FS with 3A.
@@Anya33 If Sasha first lands 4A, I'm pretty sure Japan will declare war on Russia lmaoo. but on a serious note, it's difficult to judge as we haven't seen her compete 3A consistently. training 4A at the moment would be dumb as she really doesn't need any new elements to win, she just needs to be consistent with what she already has.

When the Russian Rocked Miss Trusova have a clean Frida with that huge 3A and 5 clean quads in the FS she will probably Win Gold at Olympia 2022. In worst case she will add the 3A in the FS too than she is unbeatable because she is unstoppable!!!
Это пока только тренировка, сделать нужно на самих соревнованиях, но я тоже верю, что на этот раз всё получится как надо включая 3А в КП. Завтра Фрида, послезавтра Круэлла. Болеем! :)
