Could not run mine more then 200km/h on a straight,full stock 115hp though,i hope after remap and some minor mods acceleration will be better,since i dont have that much chance to floor it that high anyway,so acceleration is what i aim to improve the most :D
It runs a bit faster with the the first setup, but here on this video we slighty lower the boost pressure and the amount of fuel that was going because the turbo overboost to approx. 1.7 bar ( It should be 1,4 bar with the right setup), but we can't find what was the problem for that overboosting and I decided to stick with the lower boost of 1.2 bar....
+Mitko Ivanov Hmmm,is your turbo stock? i plan to remap mine,do straight piping,maybe shut egr off,and get new air filter,some more tweaks and so on,just first need to replace clutch and turbo,since car did 240 000km,so they are close to an end,cous previous owner was an idiot :D Im interested to see how much hp should i gain from these mods,it would be easier if i had 150hp 16V stock one,but that isnt option now sadly :S
+Vault Boy every electronic thing that can be removed, we removed it, the egr is removed electronicaly, the two catalyst is removed also, the clutch is new btw on 20-30k km, the turbo is the stock one, but i had to put stainless steel pipes or silicon pipes just to be sure that there is no pressure to go off! Its sure that the car can go more than 150 hp with some few tweaks and good maping but mine is around 140 hp, but i've raced a 1.9 16v jtdm 150 hp facelift alfa 147 and we've been even to 210-215 km and after that the jtdm puls because of the 6th gear!
Awesome man,i care about acceleration/torque,so its good to know that its even to stock 16V facelift,mine is facelift also,just 8V version. I thought about removing egr and catalysts especially,but i dont know if that would pass the polution tests every year when i go to register my car,i need to see how are things about that here in Serbia first,all in all,thanks for responses and help,appreciate it! :D
After the remap the top speed increased by 10 km/h.... before was 210km/h, now it is 220km/h but hits the limiter ot 5th gear, otherwise it can reach at least 225 or 230km/h if there was some slight steep section of the road! :)
Carletto Rossi It's remap cause this stock car not accelerate like this... If you said for top speed @ 200, 205 or so, ok... But I think this car pulls a bit more, surely about 215-220 (stock car pulls no more than 200-205) I have an alfa gt 1.9 jtd 16v and accelerates a bit more than this 147 remap and also has more top speed too. My aunt has got a 147 1.9 8v 115 hp and accelerates less than this car in the video... So I think yes it's NOT stock but REMAP (surely or downhill xD)
@@samuelgomez3311 The car is remapped but "slightly", so its not proper remap after all! The boost pressure should be 1,4bar but here is 1,2bar! When we put the first map file with 1,4bar pressure it was faster than 1,9 jtd m-jet 16v in by a huge margin (0-100 was 7,8 sec, and stock m-jet was 8,7sec)
@@mi7aka922 Depends on the car and type of remap... Cause some cars are faster or slower than others like "on average" performance. But in general, 47 8v remap should be as fast or even slightly faster than jtd 16v. I think your car could be accelerates in 8 seconds and about 8,5 for 16v version more or less. It's not a huge difference... 16v accelerates between 8,3 and 8,8 depends on the car. But they're the same accelerations on the road and 16v are clearly better on top speed cause the short 5 gear on 8v
