With all that rage talk, I was honestly expecting Alfred to become a Red Lantern or something like that, but The Specter was beyond awesome

This actually would be a great way to bring Alfred back in Prime Earth continuity. Sounds really epic.

This is similarly how CW Oliver Queen got to be Specter but way cooler since it's Alfred. Dude cared for Bruce for the remainder of his life including the Children Bruce took home in order for them to have a good life even with all the dangerous crime fighting and got depressed when most of them died in Battle. Inclusion of his gf's death, He deserves to be the new Spectre for that.

IMHOP it's not all that surprising I mean good old Alfred has been keeping this grief-rage & sadness inside of himself for a very very long time so it's not that much of a stretch that eventually there would be something that would break him. Alfred becoming the Spector is a no brainer for long time fan's of DC he is to be honest the most deserving out of everyone in DC for that power it's sad that the series is coming to an end but it's awesome that they finally pulled the trigger on Alfred now it's time to show the newbies how to do it right go get Alfred.

Mannnn these two issues had me feeling ALOT of emotions…pissed JS and Kilowagg got killed, mad at the Imp for being too cocky, proud of Alfred and somehow feeling his pain and conviction and how he still holds on to a lot of stuff…overall great two issues it got a tear out of me 😢

Mr. M's pride was his own downfall. Good writing and Alfred becoming Spectre was so out of the box.

I've been keeping up with this series as it released, and each chapter just gets crazier and crazier. At the end of this chapter, with Jim Corrigan talking to Superman and clasping their hands at the end, I thought that Superman might've been getting the power of the Spectre. But then I remembered that Spectre is the spirit of *vengeance* and Superman really is too kindhearted to embody something like that. Then it jumps to Alfred in front of Damian and shows *him* getting the Spectre's power, and my jaw just dropped. I cannot wait to see what the next chapter brings to the table, as well as what it takes.
