@@JDMNGAGC Think back to episode one when he threatned Paul with a knife and him being a pimp. Louis, for all his morality, supposed education and abstinence, is no saint and Lestat chose him for a reason.

I keep hearing this theory and thinking it's very stupid. Daniel and Armand have definitely mingled in the past, like in the books, but why the hell would Alice be Armand???

I can see it - Alice declining Daniel's marriage proposal isn't that different from Armand refusing to make Daniel into a vampire. It could go either way though; yes, Alice could be just Armand but Armand was also known to physically & mentally stalk Daniel & others so he would learn everything about them

I don't think Alice is Armand enterely, but I do think Armand replaced Daniel's memories of their interactions so Daniel remembered them as belonging to him and Alice (who is a real woman he had a relationship with), and possibly also messed with Alice's memories too. Which contributed at the failure of his marriage.

It wouldn't make sense if it were Louis as Louis would have no reason to hide affairs while Armand WOULD.

@@bankubanga789 let’s just say Armand went through what Lestat did with Louis and like Lestat just said during the trial “if someone you loved refused you that same love in return for 7yrs is it ok to look elsewhere for that love and affection” …. All I’m going to say is Daniel’s major breakthrough this season of that he lost 6 days worth of memories is only just the beginning. A lot happened in those six days and the subsequent years. As a fan of the books I couldn’t understand the age up of Daniel but as this season has played out, I get it now and I see where they are going they want the pay off to be satisfying my guess is that we won’t see much of the rest of that week Daniel still can’t remember until next season when they do book 2 “Lestat THe Vampire” You don’t think it’s odd … Armand answered for “Alice” when he responded “she” wanted to “say yes” but couldn’t trust him … how odd because the last time I checked vampires can only read the minds of the ppl in front of them … wink wink …. Hope ya get it

​@@bankubanga789Armand fucks Daniel in the books. A lot. For years on end. They also adopt a sugar baby but he was a male dance students in the books. The show can go as far as making him a her and Daniel getting her pregnant. The point is by the time TVL occurred in the books they had LONG been hooking up, in fact by the time TQOTD starts, it had been 12 years or a while before the present happened that he a d Daniel were painting the town red. The show might make this Armand smarter than the one in the books in the sense that he'd be less tolerant of Daniel's addictions. The Armand in the books is smart but he's too lenient with Daniel. Unless Daniel misses him off, Armand is super sweet with him.

There are no nice vampires in Anne Rice's books, they are all monsters with very few redeeming qualities.

How was it long time coming?? Isnt he simply doing his job as an interviewer...Getting to the truth...I think they did was actually pretty cruel..Makes me believe their not allnthe clean and is manipulating the story their telling.

He's been just going at Louis since the beginning of the interview, and yes he is doing his job, technically. And he's clearly here this second time around to get to the truth, burried deep. But he's been a complete ass and frankly a bully about it. He's constantly insulting and belittling and mocking and making jokes and laughing. Like Armand says he's consistently drawing humor from Louis pain. Cracking jokes and acting like a complete ass. There's only so much of that even the nicest gentlest person can and will take, before they've had enough. Before they respond. And it's very clear that he's going so hard at Louis, and has been since day one of last season, because he thinks Louis is weak. Completely forgetting that Louis is a Vampire and Daniel is a guest in his home. He's lucky it wasn't Armand who lashed out at him, he really would have f*cked Daniel up. And it still would have been deserved. Just because he's doing a job he was invited here to do doesn't give him any right to be acting, doing and saying some of the stuff/ways he has been. He literally messed around and found out, and it's been coming for a long time 🤷🏽‍♀️

but louis was the one going after daniel in this scene? it was armand's idea, but in the moment armand tried to get louis to back off.

Armand was one of the biggest assholes in a series full of assholes, Ricean's vampires are complete and utter monsters yet he managed to stand up among them for his sheer cruelty, the one in the series is an angel by comparison.

the mental abilities of vampires in Ann Rice lore is...variable. but can be quite potent, particularly as you get older. they were reading his mind, and quite possibly altering it. the Human was getting too familiar for his own good with some old school Vamps..particularly Armand.

armand definitely doesn't hate him. even with the context we have so far, in this scene, immediately after the end of this clip, armand tries to soften the blow and offer a little comfort by saying "she wanted to say yes" (which, as the above response is getting at, may be hinting at something larger).

No, he was doing his job as an interviewer....Its clear its more to what theyre saying and that their not telling the full truth...his job is to dig..They were being cruel..If they dont wont him to to his job..Then why invite him...Both of them are starting to reveal their true colors...Cant wsit to get All sides if the story

But instead he started to ridicule Louis and Armand and their feelings for one another. And also Crack jokes about Louis pain about his past with Lestat. That was not his job.
