Just a fan channel posting some of my favorite scenes and things from Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire AMC. (This is strictly a fan account. This channel is not monetized, and all content from the series belongs to AMC)
I think Armand could be really sorry saying "I could not prevent it" in dubai. He knows now how it all played out. He and louis aren't happy. If armand did try to save louis in the past, he wouldn't be afraid of loosing louis now as the truth could be exposed and through out 70+ years they would be more honest. Ironically Armand said the truth. He could of course prevented it physically but phycologically he couldn't do anything else but choose the coven, and maybe he does regret it now
There’s something I don’t get about the narrative that Lestat was being forced to participate by Armand and the coven. When he is confronted in the very next episode in Magnus’s dungeon, he matter of factly states that they cannot kill him because he has Akasha’s blood. So…. Where was that immortality and bad assness during the play?! Or the execution?
the way lestat says "stay down cheri I don't want to fight you" you can hear the love and sadness in his voice calling him Cheri which means "dear" just broke me even when Louie were going insane he still called him such a sweet name and the whole series led you to believe everything was all lestat when in actual fact it was just there own made up perspective on it
2:06 I love how Louis's initial reaction is fear of Lestat saying it outloud. No telling what Louis was going to respond with, had Lestat not frozen the others. Then the relief/fear/gratitude of it being just the two of them. Louis found him a friend. ..a companion. ..for life 😁! Also, I love at 3:03, the _hesitation_ to grab the card at first, is reminiscent of the beach seen in the film "Moonlight" when Chiron is hesitant and pauses a step back before leaning in to kiss Kevin for the first time. To _trust_ Kevin 😊.
I don't like it when they try to do an 1:1 adaptation of a novel, it simply doesn't work. This show truly blew my mind, please, please, please give as more seasons!!! I also recommend A ROUND TRIP TO LOVE, the movies are okay, but the novels are amazing. There are free fan translations on the internet, just check them out.
Claudia smilling and skipping happier then we've seen her since she first ran away from louis and lestat, happy to have pride and community for the first time 🥲
The actress who plays Claudia is so lovely!! The shape of her eyes atop her prominent cheekbones!! Just a fascinating face for a deeply complex character!!
@@brandyw.7943but how would we know?) we've seen a story only from Luis perspective, and he is an unreliable narrator. The story abour making Claudia, about the fight before Lestat dropped him from the sky....
As sad as the scene is, i'm more curious whether there is any information of her life and fate past this point? More so on her descendants and whether Louis knows who they are in his present time when he is telling his story. I mean if i was immortal, i'd be eager to observe my family and relatives and their descendants throughout the passage of time...purely out of interest/curiosity.
