Amanda Ripley begins her trip through the Sevastopol in order to find the flight recorder (and some friends). However she runs into some problems with the local friendly synthetics and resident monster.
I just love 70s-80s futuristic stuff because although it was high tech, all of the buttons and machines have these super satisfying bulkiness and clunkiness to them.
Totally agree - I wish there were games made in this universe or in this style that weren’t designed to constantly make you poo yourself. I will never play this game but watching the vids is ace.
The best Alien Isolation gameplay on RU-vid. Very funny and well done. It's the only way to watch the game without having an heart attack. Well, almost.
Old Klonix same lmao. It randomly popped up on my recommended again. It also made me re download the game even tho I've beaten it 6 times on Nightmare mode and got the achievement for not dying at all (without cheating and restarting checkpoints before you die lol). I'll keep it simple and say I was obsessed with this game lmao. Just never seen something as dynamic as the alien in this game and how it literally hunts you and reacts differently for everything you do. This guys play thrus were the only I could enjoy watchin cause everyone's either too much of a coward or and idiot lol. His texts make it 10x better also.
Fun fact: Your heart will try to match the rhythm of music, which is why the music starting at 2:03 is so effective at creating tension. Also because it's playing while nothing is technically happening, but you know that it CAN happen and your vision is impeded by darkness and cramped surroundings, which takes a page right out of the book of the movie.
Idk why everyone keeps saying that but that is not true. Besides, it depends on how you feel. I can’t imagine listening to metal or hardstyle edm and having your heart go to 140-160 bpm because of it. So generally speaking, no...Your heart does not match or synchronise with the music. The rest is true though. The eerie music and the crescendo of the music puts you in a state of FFF at which your body prepares for action by increasing bpm.
I was just randomly recommended this by RU-vid, and after looking at your channel, I'm sad to see that you've been gone for so long. You make/made really good videos.
When Axel died, I literally had the most terrifying moment in my video gaming life. Hiding behind that crate and waitin for the train to come had me feeling true fear from a fkn video game like holy shit! Once I got on the train and got to the otherside, I thought to myself, "Okay, so that was obviously a scripted moment" figured it was never going to appear cos they need to give you a chance before they release the chains later on. Seeing Vlad appear around the 3:05 mark just changed everything! OMFG!
I have an issue with this game's storyline. It's silly that Samuels isn't the one to go running around the station looking for medical supplies and contacting the Torrens, since he can easily overpower the androids, and the alien isn't interested in killing synthetics... Ripley and Taylor could have just stayed hidden the entire game!
Theoretically, it was the best bodyguard an unprepared visitor like that Seegson dirigent could have. Practically, the point of the game is to be stalked by a threat that's (among other things)unkillable. Other than that, it's a good point you made.

Well Samuel doesn't look very synthetic, and actually the alien attack him if you attract it nearby
I think most of my storyline criticisms lie with the following: 1. suddenly bullet/buckshot proof Xenomorph 2. the drop in scare factor after the first one’s demise 3. the fact that there is only one Alien chasing you until the nest it has established is disturbed 4. the fact that Weyland Yutani bought the station because they know the Alien is here, but a collection team hasn’t already arrived
@unendedgalaxy2543 I think the reason that only one alien is chasing you is that the majority of the xeno population is staying in the hive to make sure the facehuggers and queen are safe, and there are only a few members of the hive who go throughout the station to bring new bodies for both more xeno's, and food. And Amanda Ripley, looks like a good source of food, and constantly leads that 1 xeno to places with lots of humans, so it and the hive benefited quite a bit from following Ripley.
My fucking God!!! I completed this game five times, and I never knew that Vlad can come down when you're waiting for the transit after Axel's death. O.O
Comrade Pavlov I threw a flare expecting it to to drop down by where axle got killed but the SHIT dropped right in front of me and seconds later didn't prove much well for me
This game really is the new Amnesia. RU-vidrs recording themselves while playing is pretty much given for this game :D Good idea with the texts, btw :D
Every once in a while, I'll come back to this series and rewatch the whole thing. Never ceases to make me feel better and I have no idea why - you're just that great! I've not seen a playthrough this entertaining or funny ever, thank you so much for doing this. You've made things better
I had no idea the alien could actually show up before its debut moment when you're canceling the lockdown (as seen at 5:20) the fact that you actually can get it to show up after snacking on axel is really freaky. On a slightly unrelated note, after that cutscene (5:20) I cowered under those desks for a good hour before working up the nerve to try exiting the room
This is hands down the BEST play through of this game ever. The humor, relatability and just plain joy in this play through brings it to my favorite play through of ANY game.
The 1st 2 encounters with the alien are brilliant. The 1st one had me terrified. I was waiting for the tram to come, and all you hear is all this crazy noise and spooky music. I kept hiding and peeking over the box.
this game looks tight. I'm going to have to get it now. I thought this was going to be a dumb game. I started watching your videos on it and now I'm hooked.
poweredbydion for real though. I played on nightmare mode and i took a break for a LONG time. Im coming back to it today, this video is literally making me feel hyped for it
Once back in time one Italian streamer was playing Alien Isolation and when he was at the point of waiting for the train to escape the alien, when the train had yet to arrive he said: "where it comes from? China?" 🤣🤣🤣
I can't say how many times I've watched this play-through from start to finish, but the joy of revisiting it from time to time has been an experience I always enjoy. Your last video was posted 5 years ago, hope everything is okay!
The fucking heartbeatish noise in the beginning after axel dies and your waiting for the damn transport thing. Gets my every time 😖 makes my skin crawl!
Dude... i dont get tired of this gameplay of yours, i`ve already sar all the other like 2 or times. I love your text/comments. jajajaja plsss do more game like these.
I was actually really sad when Axel got clapped. He was the only ally I had and once again I was on my own. Every time I’d hear another voice, I’d hope they’d be friendly. But alas, they were as hostile as any xenemorph or android. I began to fear the humans and used them to work in my favor against more dangerous adversaries (⌐■_■) ✩
I'm at the part where the woman was shooting you and I got no idea where to go, I died 5 times in EASY! Man I suck so bad, a question though. When you hear a beeping sound, does that mean the Alien is near you?
If the tracker isn't in your hand when it beeps it means a new movement source is near, but in some cases it's just ambient movement and there's nothing there (think air moving in vents setting it off). But if it's in your hand and beeps multiple times, something is there (not necessarily alien though)
You made a great series! You actually helped me complete the game (i was too scared to play the game but now Jeff is afraid of me) too bad you abandoned your channel R.I.P [*]
Old comment but I had to reply because your name was REALLY fuckin spicy. It was originally planned to give one player the ability to control the alien, with it being able to peek and lean like Ripley. To balance it out, it only had a fraction of the peeking range with only like 20-40% of Ripley's. I wish it would've been included in a separate mode, like you invite a friend to a lobby and it places you in Sevastopol randomly (i.e. Seegson Synthetics, San Cristobal Med Center, etc) with certain objectives for the human player to complete. It's beyond me how to balance a xenomorph in a stealth game so the restrictions could be whatever. Maybe it could be like Dead by Daylight where the xeno has to drag human players back to the nest, and humans are encouraged to either let the friend die (and maybe respawn the player as another xeno?) or save them for a spare pare of hands/distraction later.
I can't believe you encountered the Alien that early, I thought she didn't come until later. In all the playthroughs I've watched this is the only one I've seen the alien come at you after the cutscene with Axel
3:05 at the first time didn't happend to me! Why? The first meeting to the alien was when Amanda finds the black box of nostromo and during the elevator!
It can happen if you wait long enough. Or if you're too slow. Or if you throw a flare/noisemaker. He's omnipresent troughout the WHOLE game. He's just a very sneaky fucker.
Its 2020 the future.......I found this guy on youtube who has no audio just text in his videos .......I am engrossed with him he is more funny with letters then most youtubers with a voice.......but heres the kicker..he hasn't uploaded in over 2 years what a fuxking sad future this is turning out to be for the love of dear god if this guy is still out there and is alive please start making videos again RU-vid needs you but more importantly the future needs you Sincerely yours A random guy from Ireland
as someone said below, motion tracker is diegetic; meaning that however is near you or the locker you're hiding in can hear you; so put it down; also, might wanna try to hold breath and lean back (RMB, ... the other key I forgot)
