This is the third film in a kinda of accidental "trilogy". The running order is:
1st film: Alien Infinity
2nd film: Alien Continuum
3rd film: Alien Omega
It's not essential to have seen the first one. But it would help you understand what is going on in this film if you watch the second film, though.
Some of the characters have hard-coded subtitles, but if you need/want subtitles for ALL the characters, then there are English-language subtitles available if you enable CC.

I made this film using a 2011 Dell XPS 15 laptop:
i7-2670QM cpu, 8gb RAM, 2gb NVIDIA GeForce GT 540m graphics, 670 gb HHD.
Post-production was completed using a . . . .
In order to keep the 3D rendering times down I kept the resolution to 720p, as opposed to going full HD (1080p), I also didn't use any global illumination or ambient occlusion, and kept area lights and area shadows to a minimum,
and I also kept reflections (in particular, blurry reflections) to a minimum.
With that said, the animation still took a total of nearly 1500 HOURS to render out of Cinema 4D. In calendar time this equated to approximately 3 months. Had I have rendered out at full HD and used G.I. and A.O. etc., I calculated that the render would have taken about 2 YEARS!
The film is comprised of almost 1000 shots (and they are 100% CGI).
The first two films in the trilogy had around 600 CGI shots combined.

In terms of the 3D models and others assets used to make this film, please check the end credits for all the different internet resources I used. You might be amazed at what is freely available for you to use on the internet . . . and I'm not talking about 'pirated' stuff, but sounds and visuals put out there for free! Also, free trials and samples can be very useful.

I'm really glad and grateful to be uploading this film . . . FINALLY! Whoever you are that has clicked on to watch it: thank you. If you want to critique or give feedback on the film, then I welcome it, whether it is positive or negative, it only need be honest. My willingness for you to interact with my work is sincere: my channel is NOT monetised, so any 'clicks', views, comments, subs etc. do NOT generate money. I just genuinely find the feedback useful and, often times, enjoyable. If you're gonna leave a comment, then please bear in mind: 1 - I made this single-handedly (except for the majority of the voice-acting for which I was lucky enough to have some very talented actors work on). There's no team, and no funding; and made in my living-room on my 2011 laptop. 2 - This is complete FAN-FICTION. This is not attempting to be Alien canon. It's inspired by video-game cutscenes, and I wondered what would happen if you took an assortment of video-game characters and put them in the Alien Universe. 3 - I'm not a trained animator/filmmaker. My goal is to get better with each film. Now, with all that said, please have fun, enjoy the film. We do it for the joy of it, and that's the main thing, after all.

do not sell yourself short. i have eagerly awaited for this one and it does not disappoint. please continue to work on this storyline. a war with weyu sounds like it will be awesome. have you given any thought about setting up a patron account. it is a site where people can donate money to help with funding issues for future products.

Thank you for this. It's really pleasing that you enjoyed the film so much. As it stands, I'm not planning on continuing with more films in the series. However, this films is deliberately full of loose ends so that if in the future I change my mind and decide to make more, then I have ready-made storylines to follow through on. I haven't seriously contemplated Patreon - I'd have to look into it to see what it's about.

Thank you for this comment. Coming from an Alien fan such as yourself, your enjoyment of my Alien fan-films is gratifying. The films aren't meant to follow strict Alien lore, or true/realistic to the Alien Universe; they're more of a mashup. So I'm glad you still had a lot of fun watching it.

Kudos! The trilogy was really well done. Love the homage to C-3PO and the brief appearances of Bishop and Hicks, not to mention the return of our girl Vasquez and the Predator. Would have loved to have seen more of The Faceless Duel and the animation within the animation. You should be proud of this. Ok, I cannot put into words how good this whole sequence is with early information having a payoff at the end. You've added tie ins to all parts of the Franchise (& beyond) and I am left dumbfounded that out of all the millions that FOX has they could never put together a story like this. This was a lot of fun to work on but its so weird to hear my own voice. But voicing Pro-s:t was super fun to do even though it hurts so much to hear my C-3PO impression... But thanks so much for letting me do it and so happy to see all your work come to fruition

I understand the cringe factor at hearing your own voice, BUT your vocal work was so good. I think I might have told you before, but from the time you first voiced Pro-s:t, I then wrote him with your voice in mind; I couldn't imagine him any other way. So I'm really glad that you were involved in this. And it's great that you had fun with it. Thank you.

Hey! It's been a long time. Almost the entire time since we last spoke has been spent on this film. How did the project that you was working on at the time turn out? I was really curious about it. I'm glad you enjoyed this film. I can't tell at this point whether I like the film or not tbh, I'm too close to it - after some time has passed I'll be able to watch the film with some objectivity and decide. I was happy that you've seen improvement in my work - after all, that's why I started making these animations. And thank you for the well-wishes. It's been a tough 2020 for everyone, and so I hope yours has been better than most, and continues being so. How time flies.

How time flies indeed! Things have really changed a lot between then and now, it's crazy to think about. It looks as though the time's been treating you fairly kindly though which is always good to hear, and thank you for the well-wishes, too. :) I'm pretty confident you'll be able to look back on this film project favourably as it's a fantastic display of your creativity, talent and technical prowess and how you've grown as a filmmaker and CG artist, bolstered with some really excellent vocal talents and a cracking story, and when you've got a huge undertaking like this the one thing that always shines through is the passion and the dedication to the craft that keeps that spark of creativity alive. (and on a jocular note it still makes more sense continuity-wise than Colonial Marines lol) If I remember right the project I was working on at the time was that Half-Life mod, sadly the mod died due to some poor decisions by a new project manager (he's since had to have therapy for emotional problems and has made a full recovery and now makes some really stunning CSGO maps), but fortunately a new team have since taken the reins and are making good progress. Myself, I've been working on some exciting projects recently, though I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say rn as it's pretty hush-hush. I don't think it's any surprise to say they're mostly Half-Life related though haha!

I know you're limited by the imperfect medium but the action with smart and engaging storyline, colorful characters, great direction, tight editing, cinematic camera angles etc this is otherwise, a Masterpiece! It feels like a Guardians of the Galaxy with Aliens as a backdrop. It captures the excitement, camaraderie, of the first with the suspense and mystery of the second! Really invigorated both franchises for me by reminding me what made them work in the first place.

It's been a long road, right? I remember the first time I heard your interpretation of the Commander (way back on the previous film), it was so good that I had to completely change the model and animation of that character in order to do your performance justice! Hey. I'm a huge fan of this franchise and I want to thank you for producing this trilogy. Its been a fantastic watch. There's loads of comments on the look and they're all richly deserved, but I want to shout about your story arc and the characters. It's fleshed out the universe rather than just focusing on the xenomorph, which is what Scott wanted to do but you've nailed it. The characters are excellent (especially Commander), I love the Terminator references, the music choices are very cool and the similarities between Snake Eyes and Stormshadow with the ninjas was extremely well played out. All the while giving us engaging and quirky characters. But this can't be the end - there were so many threads left dangling! I really hope there's another one, even if they're shorts, as you've produced a great body of work. Thank you

I will say i have commented not long ago wondering where this was at in production... The only real item for me was at many points.. Iit was hard to hear the dialogue do to the volume of sound effects or other sounds (music) and interplay in the scenes. I truly loved the story line from the first features till this one. I appreciated some of the easter eggs in this like the C-3PO reference. As for concluded, I think not with that ending LOL Just a new beginning. I thank you for all of the hard work and everyone involved with it all over the years. I do hope someone "sees" this and offers you up a job offer of some kind. Thank you for the hard work and love it took to accomplish all three films. My respect and my thanks go to you. Now when is the next series starting???? LOL See what happens when you make something great and garner fans!!!!

Thank you for the enthusiasm and positivity. And, yes, I did leave many loose ends with the story; this was deliberate: I left this film with unanswered questions that I could use as the basis of future plots, should I ever wanted to make more of these films in the future. The C3PO reference was part of an overall idea to mashup some Star Wars into this: some of it is very subtle, though. As for the audio. I've had issues on every film. I don't possess professional equipment: all of the audio is done on my laptop with headphones so, to me it sounds fine. But every so often, a viewer will comment that the levels are off, and it is usually the dialogue that suffers. That said, I think the audio is better on this film than on previous films, but I appreciate that there is still room for improvement. Anyway, thanks again for the comment. It's much appreciated

found it by accident. First quarter of the film i was not sure. Then I was stunned. And at the end I were happy that 2 parts more exist. Many quotes in it. A true fan-film.

I think that was the point. This whole movie is like Resident Evil had sex with GI Joe, Alien, Predator and Star Wars all at once. Like a big orgy of copying the most prominent figures of each series.

Keep up the good work I enjoyed all 3 even though I watched them in reverse order. With not knowing you were gonna continue from the first 12 minute one the couple of continuity mistakes can be overlooked. But very enjoyable piece of entertainment. I was meant to go shopping but have sat here and watched all 3.

Wow. Just wow! That was amazing. Ok so the action was a little jumpy in places but considering it was just you doing all the work it's not surprising but. And it's a big one. I could watch something this good without worrying about the time the story took because it was that good. Shame that Hollywood can't do as well as this even with the massive budgets they have. Looking forward to seeing your next production. 😈👍

I've been checking your channel weekly just waiting for this. I'm glad you finally finished it. Other than a few voiceover changes and Miranda's body changing I thoroughly enjoyed this one. You definitely had me guessing all the way to the end! I loved you added the Predator to the mix! Even though this is the finale of the trilogy, there are still questions to be answered....who won the fight between the Predator and the Commander? How the hell did Antman survive? How's the major alive?....oh now that we know he's an android I see why he's still alive but why did the Xenos attack him? They normally don't care about androids. What happened to the Infinituum? When did this occur considering that Sevastopol Station is still around and it's going to take 10 years to get there from where they currently are? (I know this isn't Alien canon but you did have Ripley and Vasquez ....Vasquez is an android! ) Now I have to watch these back to back!

I loved all of the Aliens trilogies, but the last one with the country accent, I couldn't stand it. I prefer the voice of the one from the 1st two videos. Even though. You are a genius! Thank you for the films. Can't wait

I was wondering why the accent changed for that character. I was like, "Wait a minute, isn't she Russian? And now she sounds like she's from Alabama." Reminded me of the voice acting on "Starcraft." Consistency matters. Other than that, though, great characterization and very good story line.

When the first Alien movie came out,I went to the cinéma to see it.I didn't know what was waiting for me,I have a real dislike for confined and dark places.My jaw dropped and stayed that way for the whole movie.I had nightmares for a month.When Predator came out years after I loved it and when Predator went after the Alien,He was my hero.I have loved Predator for a very long time.All that to say your movie is realy good,I'm in my seventies now and I still hate the Alien only now I can watch it without the nightmares.Don't stop making your movies they are quite good.
