Thank you for this video! I was just as excited as you were in your video when unboxing. I received mine today and I wish I could have tomorrow off from work so I could enjoy it a bit more. 😅 happy gaming!
With DisplayPort cable if you use it, you will be able to run it @ 4k 240hz , HDMI 2.1 have limitation in 4k with 120 HZ only also keep in mind there is DisplayPort version's , look at your monitor specifications and use the maximum version that monitor cand handle for more bandwidth . Have a nice day
Hello , I received the monitor too and I must say that I am very impressed. What a slap in the face compared to my old monitor ! The depth of black and the beauty of the colors make me rediscover somes games. I recommend this purchase 1000 times, I don't see how anyone can be disappointed, apart from the curved side that not everyone possibly likes But for me it is perfect 👌
I like that you didn't go crazy with the "gamer" aesthetic in your room, like RGB everywhere, crazy lights, everything purple and red. Looks clean and organized, I like it.
Nice job, & thank you for sharing! I really like this monitor, and am currently using their DW ultra wide. I'm on the newer side when it comes to tech, but dell/Alienware surprised me just how much goes into their products, and it shows.
Great unboxing! This is an amazing monitor! How is the resolution scaling? I have a last gen Alienware m17 r5 gaming laptop that I want an external monitor for. It does great at 1440p but not so great at 4K. I’m probably getting a good desktop pc at some point but does it still work and look great at 1440p? I want a 4K monitor for productivity also but I’m debating between this one or the 1440p 360hz qd oled Alienware monitor.
Thank you for the positive feedback! The Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor is indeed a fantastic choice. The resolution scaling on this monitor is excellent, and it should work seamlessly at 1440p while still delivering a great performance. It's a versatile option for both gaming and productivity. Considering your preference for a 4K display, this monitor is a top choice, offering the best of both worlds in terms of resolution and performance. In regards to your match with your current laptop, it might be overkill and you would probably save by going for a 1440p option or 4k with lower refresh rate.
Currently stuck between this one and the new G80SD. The warranty thing isn't too much of an issue for me. I recently returned a Neo G7 because I hated the matte coating on it. That's my worry. I won't be able to see them both in person before buying as my small town Best Buys don't carry them. I like the extras of the G80SD, but I don't wanna get it and end up having issues with picture quality because of the coating. My office is very low lit and little to no natural sunlight every. What do you think???
So I have had experience with Samsung, Dell, LG monitors . I used Samsung for 10 years for my gaming pc. It finally started to flicker a few years ago . If you have the budget , Alienware doesn’t disappoint 😍🤩
Someone else probably mentioned this, but 3840/2160 *is* 4k. It does seem like it won't let you choose anything above 120hz though (and this monitor can do 240hz).
logitech 502 hero mouse and logitech keyboard too, good taste! I ended up returning my new alienware AW3225QF though, sure it was a tiny bit better, compared to first gen OLED, but the biggest difference in quality came from going to 4k from 1440p to me, at that point I'd rather buy a new cooler master GP27U, 4k, high PPI due to 27" and miniled backlight, sure you'll have a tiny bit of bloom and not as good contrast, but it's not as bad as conventional IPS, while also being 50-66% cheaper than current gen OLED monitors, plus no risk of burn in. As I've lately started playing more and more strategy games and also consume media content on my PC, I tend to have static objects on my screen a lot, I have it for almost 2 years now and no burn-in yet, but the thought of the risk is still always looming.
Yesssss I love the combination and I like how the keyboard is not too loud! I have not used any of the Alienware peripherals yet. Oh yeah I don’t change monitors often!
@@xPhantomxify definitely. the jump from 1440p to 4k is still perceivable, but the jump from 1080p to 1440p feels huge. If I had to compare it I'd have 2 examples: First would be going from HDD to SATA SSD, that felt absolutely huge, amazing tech, but then going from SATA SSD to PCIe NVMe SSD was faster sure, still perceivable but less stunning. Another example would be fps / monitor refresh rates; going from 60 to 100fps/hz feels really big and it becomes so much smoother, going back to 60 really feels slow and unresponsive once you've experienced 100, but going from 100 to 144 I can't even notice / perceive.
My unit is having heavy yellowish tone issue whites are not proper white it looks like TN panel is it a faulty one or that’s how the panel looks for everyone?? Previously i was using LG 27GN950 model it looks that sharp and whites are properly shown 😢
Thank you for your comment! This Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor is definitely a top-notch choice for gaming enthusiasts. The display quality and features really make it stand out. Feel free to check out the video for a more in-depth look at its performance! #iwork4dell #alienware #dellgaming
I had the same problem, the protection bubble plastic was pressed against the screen pretty hard during shipping I think, I couldn't really remove all the spots. I ended up returning it.
I think I mentioned it but it was a long video so maybe you didn’t catch it! My gaming PC was so terrible I tested it out on both and the lag was so bad so we tried his as well
A 4070 super is not getting anything higher than 80 to 90fps at 4k native in MW3. I have a 4090 and the i9 14900k with this same monitor and I get about 220 to 230 at 4k no DLS and just native 4k and Ultra settings.
Such an expensive screen and you run it on a GTX 1080? I'm embarrassed for you girl! I'd take advantage of some nice ray tracing on a screen like that. Maybe an RTX 4070 =)
Hahaha I agree 😭😭😭 subscribe so I can afford to get a new gaming PC but this screen is so nice Mom of two over here 😅🙋🏻♀️ just waiting to find time and budget to update it.
Alien? Where?! Only joking! Any signs of early burn in yet and what is your overall feelings on it 3 weeks in? Personal note: Great to see an adult female gamer like yourself for a change doing this kind of content.
I am at Dell world right now! I will try to give you the latest updates in a short 🙃 ! This monitor will make you cry that you didn’t have it sooner. Now I just need a better PC
Why in the heck would you buy a 4K 240Hz with a GTX 1080!?! Get your priorities straight lol. I have 4090 with this alienware monitor and it still takes a beating with 13900k
It is a very high tech monitor, when u get a 4080 or 4090 you will fall in love with It haha and it is awesome for work too as it has a huge screenspace.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. The glossy finish on the Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - AW3225QF is indeed a preference that varies among users. Let me know if you have any further questions about the monitor! #iwork4dell #alienware #dellgaming
