It’s pretty OSM 🥳…Thank you very much ….! I have a question here ,By the same one , instead of linked model , I have cad file then Can we align some category elements to the this cad ?

To do that you would need to get the cad elements like blocks etc. Bimorph nodes has nodes for cad lines and genius loci has some for block locations. If the file is messy then it will be difficult though.

I will ask not too clever question, can you please tell me in which stage of designing step this action would be the best to do?, in process of setting up a file (structural discipline) and then linking arc model to start modelling structure or is this alignment when both disciplines have majority of modeled elements in place and then we just want to be sure that all is matching by doing this process in dynamo?, is this also one way of getting walls, slabs from one discipline into another and having them at same exact coordinates?(Something like copy and monitor but more efficient),video is great by the way, except I get little bit lost when you search something on your computer:)

So this is actually a workaround in dynamo mainly, as dynamo always uses internal positioning and doesnt transform linked geometry to the actual location by default. Most jobs will have this unless all models began from same internal origin and relative to it from there - very unlikely. For most projects I manage, I set up shared coordinates as soon as we align site model to a survey, and get the consultants to acquire its coordinates.

@@AussieBIMGuru So if company doesn't have all disciplines within its structure than this proces with dynamo will highlighltly occur?. The second part of your answer sounds like what I experience in my working environment and therefore we don't have problems with linked files being aligned. Thank you for your time and helping me to understand parts of processes better.

@tbijondagmail yes it is more common if different companies collaborate or if models use differebt internal positioning.
