Sean. I honestly forgot about the entire third act of dark Phoenix no doubt. I saw it at a late night showing and it was a double feature. So it was like at 12am and I was so bored and tired and I just watched it and forgot about it. You actually reminded me about it. Thanks. The finale was cooler then expected.

While Apocalypse is Far From perfect I really like the final battle. My favorite moment in the X Men film series is when Charles Xavier And Apocalypse have their mental duel. At the time I never seen anything like it. Even to this day their only two movies that rival that them being Inception and Doctor Strange

I know I'm one of the few that really liked "Dark Phoenix", but to me it was a pretty enjoyable character journey for Jean and kinda how PTSD can snap someone's mind and cause the rage-outs and struggles for self-control that the movie depicted. It was clumsily done, I'll admit, and if they'd just had better development for the aliens and Jessica Chastain's Vuk character influencing Jean it would have gone down better, but that finale is one of my favorite of the films. The train sequence was gloriously fun to watch that actually featured a ton of actual X-Men teamwork and individual moments for all the characters, and then having Jean finally gain control of the Phoenix Force and get her emotional catharsis before OPing the heck out of the remaining aliens (the sequence where she gets stabbed, melts the rebar that stabbed her, heals herself and then grips the alien's head and freaking melts him from the top down was awesome), leading up to her big sacrifice/transformation was phenomenally done and as you pointed out if a stronger movie had led up to it I think it would be remembered a lot better. (Having Hans Zimmer's score work behind it didn't hurt, either)

I just noticed the wolverine POP funko figure in the background, you said in the Fan Mail opening video that you said it was perfect timing to get that pop head, I was so excited then because I an X- Men video was coming up, and I love X men, my favourite superhero movie series ever, and (as I expect all the time with your videos) it was a great vdeo! My favourite final battle was LOGAN because it's so nice to see Logan and Laura fight together, all the mutant kids getting their revenge, amazing, action is great, also, ending was sad (not going to spoil it though for anyone who hasn't seen it) Just a great movie overall, my favourite X men movie with my favourite final battle! Just shows how good of a movie it was :) I would give my full ranking but this comment would be very long then if I gave my reasoning too so I just said what my number 1 is.

DOFP was my favorite final battle even tho X2 was my favorite film. The fact they had 2 final battles from the past and future going on and what was at stake can't be beat. Apocalypse is in my top 5. That final battle was bad ass with everyone using their powers and the metal fight with professor x. Movie is so underrated

REALLY close to mine! I don't hate the Wolverine third act as much as most people, and I think Day of Future Past's dual-battle ending can't be beat, but otherwise really similar! 12. hey sean, on #10 x men apocalypse, i thought the final fight was super fun and had a bit of fan service to it. As well as some high stakes and fairly good acting. I think the big savior for this movie was the script. there were a lot of great moments that the actors just feel so emotional and real, but unfortunately there’s not a lot of dialogue in final fights so i get why you put it at number 10
