They all have their charm. But my biggest weakness is for Zangief's end. No consequences; no dramas; no motives of vengeance; no life changing decisions. He's happy and just wants to dance and celebrate! :)
Well, E Honda decided to simply train as hard as before, eat as much as before and hang out with his friends as much as before so... nothing changes for him too
@@roncerjani9063 Honda has a good ending. Not to get too off topic. But, it's crazy when you see everything Sumo wrestlers go through! And to top it off, you sacrifice your right to drive. Ouch 😳!
Some versions of this game have Zangief address Gorbachev as Mr. Ex-President. Was this game released & re-released in other versions during the time when the Soviet Union was breaking up?
Ryu's ending is just...wow. It's just so badass. He doesn't give a fuck about the glory of winning the tournament. He's always testing himself to see how far he can go, and after each battle he still believes that he has to train harder. So he leaves the ceremony, because his journey to become the best is still not over yet. Amazing... Ryu just inspires me man. I'm so glad I mained him...
@@lZeroTwol yeah I’m glad I first played and beat the game on snes. And somehow the alpha3 ending music is even better! Completely different and both perfect but the alpha ending makes me nostalgic in a way that’s unmatched. Ryus ending theme on the other hand makes me almost tear up. I guess one sounds like a new beginning and the other sounds like a journeys end. Man they nailed it then bc alpha is a prequel. Anyway thx for clearing that up both of you!
Seth’s a punk bitch but Bison’s number’s up against Akuma, Gill or Oni. In any case, Bison can just respawn, unless apparently if Ryu’s Mu No Ken does him in.
Ken’s ending is just kinda sweet, considering how much the series follows up on it. By the time his SFIV Arcade route is done, he’s a Dad. That kind of character development just doesn’t come often enough in fighting games.
I had always thought that Kens ending music was so sad, but now listening to it all these years later, it's supposed to be the theme of a bittersweet reunion. I had to lose so much in my adult life, loved ones, to fully grasp it's emotional significance, the child me never understood. For me, it shall stand as an ode to the simpler times of youth..
I am a girl and I loveeeee playing street fighter. i spent many hours in front of the tv playing this game to see the stories of each fighter. GOOD TIMES!
Ryu: no I need to go further Ken:ima get married Chun Li:I finally avenged you father Blanka: MUMMY Guile:ima just become a family man Zangief: *LETS DANCE*
The first time I beat the game was with Guile in 1992. It was at a laundromat a few blocks from Zuckerbergs (not meta/fb) future wife(i didn'tknowuntil like 20 yearslater). I didn't know how to do shoryuken at the time, so I didn't use Ken or ryu.
What!? Are you crazy? These ending were memorable 1990’s like Ryu ending, unless if you like other street fighter ending, but I prefer these endings for my opinion
Damn. Chun-Li’s was nuts. Did y’all here the points at the end? I feel so bad for M. Bison. He gets his ass kicked so everyone is as happy as a sumo wrestler with a bowl of real Japanese food in his face. Dude....how long did it take you to make this video? You’re amazing. 🎵🎶 ~Sparkle R.🌹
The man gives up all the accolades and fans to go full-on karate hobo. Even fighting his most bitter rival and a murderous dictator who tried to steal Ryu’s body, going as far as to brainwash his best friend, Ryu treated the tournament as just another challenge. The fight was all he had.
I remember I always to play as E. Honda in the arcade and once on vacation I was playing against this random kid I didn't know and his girlfriend was watching and I had won many a bout in the game with Honda's arm trick and she said, "See, that's all he does is that stupid arm." To be fair, her beau did kick my ass as I recall.
When Gorbachev said that Zangief needed to celebrate in the "appropriate Russian fashion" I thought the next scene would be of them both drinking vodka.
I miss how great the ending themes were back then. Now in SFV we just a comic page and not even a simple animation these game from the early 90s was able to do
@ElBandido321 I think this is a translation error. Instead of using the word "Onna" they probably used the phrase, "dokushin no josei" which translates to single woman/girl or some variant which got the young single girl part. You have to remember they had no idea how big the game was going to be so they probably didn't think too much about translations, which is why the newer games have better translations.
