I am happy to see Wanda up so high on this list. She has always been one of my favorite characters. I swear every movie she's in, they find a way to make her even more tragic, and that makes her such an interesting character, that you want to root for. I can not wait to see what they do with her in Doctor Strange, Multiverse of Madness.

I wouldn't say quicksilver had the potential that Wanda had, but seeing him so low on this list pains me. Age of ultron wasn't my favorite marvel movie, but the addition of the twins made it instantly better for me. That's why I'm such a huge fan of Wanda, and that's why I wish they did more with Quicksilvers character instead of killing him straight away. Could've been something big.

The avengers actually would have *lost* if Peter Quill didn’t punch Thanos. Remember, (as Doctor Strange said) the only timeline where the avengers win is the infinity war/endgame that we see. Doctor Strange even checked the timeline where the avengers win *before* Star-Lord punched thanos.

Cap is always my favourite, and him gaining the powers of Thor just skyrocket his power level too!

Looking at all the slated movies it’s so fun to think about how crazy this list is and will still become. You put so much effort in these vids Sean and I want to see every installment of this series!

When I read that Melina was in this list, I was scared you would put her really low, but I'm actually quite happy with where you placed her. She was perfect for the movie she was in. John Walker is honestly an amazing character. He felt real, with him suffering with the mantle of captain. And just his action was amazing.

My top 2 would be Iron Man and Scarlet Witch. After that, it's impossible for me to rank the rest of the main avengers cast. They're all great in their own way.

Loki being this high up makes me happy too. I mostly agree. I'd probably place baby groot up a little, some others down a bit. But I generally agree.

Great job on the video Sean and Captain America is easily my favourite Avenger, such an endearing, badass and humble superhero who puts other people before him brilliantly played by Chris Evans!

I actually find that John Walker and Steve Rogers share far more in common with each other than people like to admit - they both just want to do their duty, they want to do good and be of service, and they both were reluctant on the PR and fame but accepted it as part of the job, and both are loyal to their friends and loved ones as well as being brave, stubborn, doesn't give up, and self sacrificing. The similarities are actually what makes their contrasts stand out all the more and what makes Walker a slightly darker mirror to Steve. And to be honest, if the Falcon and the Winter Soldier had been a story where Walker had been the protagonist and still did what he did, he would actually be an underdog type character that fans would have rooted for because the story would have framed him very differently, because ultimately he doesn't actually do anything that many of our most beloved MCU heroes themselves haven't done - Tony, Wanda, T'Challa, Thor, Clint, and more have all react out in violence and try to kill or successfully killed people who hurt the people they loved, Walker just happened to be the only person who was framed in an intensely negative way because he got the shield bloodied (even though we know Steve must have bloodied that shield more than a few times when he was flinging it into people left and right and for sure killing them during missions). Walker is the epitome of the tragic fallen hero, and his tragedy is that he's trying to be a hero in a story that refuses to let him be a hero and was never meant for him to be a hero in. I actually think when given the power, he does choose to do the right thing in the end by letting go of revenge to be the hero he's already capable of being, to be the soldier who saves people's lives, I mean that's what he earned those 3 Medals of Honor for, to self-sacrifice for others. If Lemar hadn't been murdered, I don't think the power/serum would have pushed into killing anyone. In a way, he's almost a victim of bad circumstances set against him, yet he still manages to rise above it all. I actually think Walker shows the full realistic range of what Erskine was talking about when it comes to the serum, Erksine said good becomes great and bad becomes worse, and we never actually saw "bad becomes worse" in Steve when it's rather unrealistic to human reality where we all have light and dark inside all of us. Walker having both light and dark where the serum amped up his worst qualities of anger and impatience while also pushing out those good/great qualities of service and self sacrifice and bravery actually shows the full range of the human complexity and makes him a much more real character.

I’m sick of people being mad at Quill for beating Thanos when he found out he killed Gamora. It was so realistic. I’m sure people would have that same reaction. It’s just rooted in his grief and it’s just such a good arc.

Tony is the best and forever will be. He’s a great example of doc oc and green goblin from Tobey’s Spiderman trilogy. A person who has good intentions on the world but is filled with arrogance that it causes harm. Instead of making him the villain he has to fight many mistakes that he made which we see him starting to understand what he is especially after realizing that his father loved him and what he wanted him to become. Captain America Civil War is also an example of how he carried the MCU. without Tony in that movie it would be completely different. Tony also makes many superhero’s who they are today such as Spiderman, Rhody, imo he had a lot of influence on Cap, and just his intelligence alone played such an important role on all the Avengers movies.

The thing about Thor after the events of infinity war it would have been a better story telling if they played the narrative of him about constantly losing the people he cares about in a more serious tone instead of being handled in a comedic way, him dealing with grief is so mishandled in endgame and that is why I had a difficulty in understanding his character in that movie.

It's so awesome to finally see Peggy Carter on this list! I absolutely love her. She's so cool in her own show and she's also amazing with Steve. I love how she supports him and had a certain love and respect for him while he was still the 'skinny kid from Brooklyn' because she could see how good his heart was even if his body was weak.

I agree with Battlestar being last, but in all honesty, even then Battlestar is not poorly acted or even poorly written, it’s just the fact Battlestars whole purpose in the story is to die… Which goes to show that even the lowest character on this list still serves some sort of purpose in the story, which is honestly surprising

1. Captain America (Steve Rogers ability to inspire and stand by his morals is super admirable, everyone should aspire to be like him) 2. Spiderman (Easily the most relatable character in the MCU, my favorite Spiderman for sure) 3. Iron Man (The Godfather of the MCU, easily has best arch in the MCU and will always hold a special place in my heart) 4. Scarlet Witch (The idea of an all powerful witch who is unstable and could rewrite reality itself automatically makes her the most interesting character in the MCU) 5. Thor (Loved him in the first movie and Ragnorok and beyond, they were really able to turn him into one of the most likable characters in the MCU) 6. Loki (Lokis redemption mixed with his charismatic nature makes him one of the most interesting and likable characters in the MCU) 7. Hulk (Hulks journey has really morphed him into one of the best characters in the MCU and I can't wait to see what they do next [Hopefully Worldbreaker Hulk]) 8. Rocket Racoon (His journey through Guardians of the Galaxy to Endgame has solidified him being my favorite Guardian) 9. Dr. Strange (His journey is much like Tony Starks and I think that's why I gravitate to him, not to mention how badass he is) 10. Shang Chi (Just saw it a 2nd time and I think he's super badass and interesting, one of the best origin movies)

The top of this list is "character we've spent the most time with=equals best character." Most developed doesn't mean best in my view. There are plenty of shows and movies where a supporting character is the best character on the show without nearly as much in-depth development as the leads.

Top 5....Mine is as follows - 1) Iron man (Had a very complicated life....So much struggle and + the most sad death...But a beautiful Tribute :( ) 2) Captain America (He had a Sad life but he got everything he deserved in Endgame ) 3) Wanda(Scarlet Witch) - (She has no family....She has seen his family dying , QS dying and Even Vision !) What a terrible nightmare... 4) Spiderman (Pretty biased but he is one of my favourite character and he has so much Potential in MCU...And I think he will get the Treatment in NWH what he deserves...) 5) Loki ! (Such a complicated character....I think I will never understand him in my life lol....So much fun to see him on screen...Tom Hiddleston did a FANTASTIC job.....) Honorable mentions - Black Widow , Dr Strange , Thor , Black Panther... I think Shang chi and Captain America (Sam Wilson) were bit low in the list of yours Btw GREAT work !
