In just about every coil it should be made from litz wire , even the cable from the coil to the detector should be coaxial litz wire with spiral braid.
woody ..waht mean the Q of coil ..thanks ..and i hve avr lcmeter i use for coil metal detectors .when i testing induction of coil showing ohms .how much induction and (Q) i dont know waht mean the (Q)...thanks alot
Try test it out tarnagulla way, Seems to be drying up and mozzies aren't too bad It's where i use my modded 4500, Can run front gain on about 70% and rx gain on 8 with no ground noise Try do 8 rx gain on a normal 4500 and it's no where near as good! Can't wait for 2nd lot of mods I live out tarnagulla, So gunna be making a test patch shortly for the public to use. Happy for you to borrow the 45 for a day if you need to compare standard/variable frequency modded + front rx gain mod/New chip mods/ first and 2nd gen mods combo Would love to see all 4 against each other! Can 100% vouch for your mods, Fantastic work woody.
