Other classes: I need to remember what combo string I'm doing and also make sure I'm fighting the right opponent. Oh and that I have my combat arts ready. War Master: I just need to hit them, *REALLY HARD!*

No, no. That's not exactly right. War Masters hit stuff REALLY HARD *and* REALLY FAST. Like, damn. Look at that C3, C5, some of their Combat Arts and the Generic Special. I'm just expecting them to go *"You're already dead"* at some point.

Thanks for making these. It's a shame that the Nintendo Warriors games have had less and less to do as years have gone on because there's so much customization and combat depth in this installment. I miss the grindy content of the first Hyrule Warriors when you were always pushing your characters to the limit for non-story challenges.

The enemy fist wielers are the ones that did suddenly a lot of damage/combo kill me instantly the most times

For my current playthrough, I've been enjoying using the Wolf Fangs weapon with Raphael as this class, as being strong against mages AND mounted units makes him beat a large chunk of enemies in this game.

Is this game bigger than hyrule warriors definitive edition?

Yes and no. If you do every route probably but if you do just one or two, no. If you're looking for a fun turn your brain off game Hyrule Warriors is better this, in my opinion, is more polished, the mechanics (for a warriors game) is much deeper and if you liked Three Houses it's a lot of fun to hang out with the characters again.

Yeah there is definitely more story here, but also ONLY story. But the gameplay is so much more polished.

For pure story, 100% yes. If you do every route and even do both variants for all the routes, it is way longer than HW. In fact, one route in Three Hopes is on par with the story mode on HW in terms of length. For side modes, unfortunately, only thing you really have for Three hopes is the story mode. Of course, you can get the S rank for every single stage, but that’s really it. For gameplay, it really depends on what you want in a game. HW have every character being unique and no clones whatsoever. With Three Hopes, you can make your character to have any moveset you want (depending if that’s available), however, there are only 5 unique movesets for each individual character. So you’ll start to feel like some characters feel samey.
