Love that you put Batman beyond at the top, don’t think many people would do that so good for you! My personal favorite is Long Halloween, followed by Under the Red Hood. That flashback scene in Batman Beyond straight up traumatized me as a kid 😂 my mom rented me the movie from blockbuster cause she figured “oh it’s a cartoon can’t be that bad.” The shit is still to this day probably one of the darkest and most haunting scenes in any movie I’ve seen

If you ask me, assault on Arkham doesn’t qualify as a Batman movie because even though it has his name in the title, he’s not a main character, instead he’s a secondary character, and it’s more of a suicide squad movie than anything Edit: spelling

Y’all quit the trolling and actually look at the story poses for not only Batman, but Bruce Wayne, the bat family and Gotham it’s self. All this makes his story and all 5 of these tell the story the way it should be. The way emotions should be evoked for someone who isn’t a hero but a vigilante/anti-hero.
