I have learned two things from this video. Your soul wonders an endless maze. Your soul wiggles in agony

To be honest, the body bag monster made me burst out laughing since I was expecting to see it writhing around slowly towards you, but instead I see a stiff coffin zooming around like a race car at Mach 1

I find it really unsettling that White Face is the only one that interrupts a game over screen, and doing that with the message “Death is no escape” really gave me goosebumps.

These death scenes are all so cool and unique it's crazy to think that these were made in game maker

I like that the way he walks around specimen 6 is basically him just going “hey who did that?” and basically deducting that it was the wind

Spooky’s Jumpscare Mansion is one of the most uniquely scary games ever. It’s like a cross between nostalgia from old 3D games in general, Silent Hill, creepypastas, and some of old RU-vid horror, with a generous cup of being very hard to recreate

Really bothers me that they replaced specimen 11’s “Embrace the teachings of Gods and reject the ideas of man” apart from being so perfectly cryptic and macabre it felt like it fit the slaughter house demon vibes way more than the tower quote, if anything the tower quote feels like a redundant add on/replacement to what was already a pretty great yet subtle quote

Charles is by far the least threatening in my experience with the dollhouse, but one of the most startling. He may be way faster than you, but he not only needs to come to a full stop when attacking, if you just take a tiny step back, he'll miss.

I love the references to other classic horror games. Silent Hill, Clocktower, Fatal Frame. Really excellent combination of original work and nostalgia.

Can we appreciate the poetry on some of these deaths

I don't know why, but I have a deep fascination with this game. It's like the SCP Foundation in one crazy mansion.

Nicely done! I only had the unfortunate experience of seeing only a few of the specimen/monster death screens, so it's really cool to see them all in one place. Specimen 5's little death text about tiny, shinning holes in the sky..., was creepily poetic.

For me, Specimen 6, Tirsiak and Woormy Charles have the most painful deaths

in the HD version of Otto's deathscreen there would be pizza flying around everywhere

It's even scary how the character doesn't really die but is sent to a fate worse than death

13:13 the monster "white face" is from a game called IMSCARED, (i think) i forgot the monsters name in the actual game but its the most creepy out of all them

I still remember my first encounter with Specimen 9. A friend came over and I paused the game inside the elevator, I thought I was safe. Then some minutes passed, I looked back to hit play again, and exactly in that moment Jumpscare for no apparent reason.

Specimen 7, 9, & 12 are the most mysterious ones, especially 7, considering in a maze full of nightmare creatures, it's the only one that can instantly kill you (Edit: specimen 9 can actually instantly kill you too, but my point still stands)

The story is honestly all about the mansion and how satanic it is, but is anybody gonna explain why the he'll this guy wants to commit suicide so badly?

At 14:26, you can actually run from US1/WF. This starts a long chase scene, not even sure if it has a end tho.

specimen 11 my love.. probably my favorite section of spookys mansion. the entire burger place gives an uneasy feeling and those notes.. aint that a nightmare (and also i like burgers. and whatever the dude is. meat demon..)

One death that seemed to be overlooked was the "Scare Chair"

Specimen 3 death may reference how it was sedated and stuck in dreamland thinking it was free but then waking up as the lab ran out of sedatives and obv became hungry from not being fed

I like how some of the specimens when killing you don't make an attack sound as the cutscene is the final blow

Woormy Charles, despite it's silly name, actually scares the shit out of me

I wish more games did stuff like this instead of plain jump scares

Not sure if it's still in the game but there was a scene for if you used the axe too much. It was like 50+ axe swings and it was game over with a game over screen where you became an axe wielding monster that stalked the maze.

I recall there being a special corridor with Bekka's death scene in the DLC, where it's a very large dark open room with what looks like a dim light at the end, and if you walk too close to it something zooms at you insanely quickly before cutting to that death screen, if I recall correctly?
