theagiknight23 "Rejoice Emiya Shirou! Your wish has finally come true!" - darkprinc979 it's "Your wish has finally come true" no "Your wish will finally come true" I just translated kanau = present and future kanatta = past tense and present perfect
Kamina Jiha Go read back the VN or watch the PV with Kirei saying the line. He said it in future tense because Shirou hasn't become a successful a Superhero/Ally of Justice yet. It's Kanau.
@@rahuld2844 My favorite part was when Sakura was writing the letter to Tohsaka while Shirou dictated. She intentionally left in the insults, just to mess with him.
@あんさつのしょーぐんAssassin Shogun no FSN sakura is still best because she actually become a girl holding all evil in the world. This is ofcourse her dark and true side. But she didn't become some arrogant girl like many described. The reason is very obvious she became all evil in the world or a girl carrying Angra Mainyu. Angra Mainyu already forgave humans but this is his nature to hate humans. Sakura didn't hate whole human society. She just act as a Angra Mainyu who accepted every sins of humans to provide them true salvation.
Zephyrus Mapping Sakura can't betray her "grandpa". and she also can't go back to her real family. So she just follow the flow.. accepting the reality Bear the pain.. The abuse.. The broken heart.. All Sakura need just love. Since a kid and now a teen, Sakura always inside a pool of pain. She kinda deserve this power... And it's kinda hurt too if Sakura ded. All she want just love and free from pain. T_T
@@CelesteAyanami Zero is canon last time I checked. Also, let's be honest. Kariya just gave Sakura a hope spot which worsened her life once she figured that Kariya failed and she was doomed to her fate. In a way, Kariya actually fucked over Sakura even more.
A wise man once said "A good visual novel should feel like jury duty for the first 15 hours then blow your mind 10 times consecutively" This is what that moment is.
japanese soundtracks are awesome. always mix "hard" elements with "soft" elements that's why i love some japanese soundtracks. especially from the sawano hiroyuki. full of epicness
All Evil of the World hits differently the first time your hear it man. It’s just that the music of the church has always been built up to be that reassuring yet stressful environment/athmosphere, which pretty much sums up Kirei: you never know what he’s thinking, he’s almost at the border of Good and Evil, constantly (because you know, in every route you have to rediscover that he is (the)trash). So the music of the church has always been built up, built up, built up to be that weird music right? Then comes All Evil of the World. BOY you know Shiro got balls in these few scenes. Shit is happening so hard and that music just contributes soo very well to it All Evil of the World has transcended boss music bro. It is solely and masterfully a piece of despair in your eardrums
I forget, when exactly does this first play? Is when Shirou steps into the cavern and sees the grail? This scene in the video, with it looming over Sakura? I know for sure it isn't when he meets Kirei, it's earlier than that.
JTHMRulez1 I did all of them to get 100% completion(all tiger dojos, the stamps ect) in order to unlock Last Episode, and a lot of them surprisingly bring out more information about the characters that you would not otherwise know, like "Sparks Liner high", or "Mind of Steel"
MrInuhanyou123 I assume it's a case similar to Tsukihime. Where a lot of Bad Ends were really enjoyable and showed important things. That's why i passed Tsukihime (All routes) a second time with bad ends. Tho, now that i think about it i should do the same with Fate.
Spends most of her younger years violated by evil worms and an asshole stepfamily. Gets highjacked by an evil alter ego before even understanding what she's going through, gives into despair from the corruption of the greater grail being merged with her psyce after the person she cares about most holds a blade over her trying to find his determination to end her. And is somewhat linked to a being that is has been tortured their entire life and holds more hatred for humanity than any human should ever have to harbor. Sakura's had a pretty shitty life to this point. She deserved that happy ending.
@@alucard197 no. Kirei is just a dick. It's not that it's made up, but that the corruption if the grail, combined with the abuse of her "family" damaged her psyche to the point that she completely flipped her shit. For proof [spoilers] Look at the last fight in hollow ataraxia, sakura at full strength would have murdered any and all of the black beasts without breaking a sweat due to how strong she is against servants (look at how she did gil), but due to the nature of her powers, she couldn't go all out, for fear of her power going on another murder spree.
@@vla1ne Mhhh, I don't know, for me the end of Heaven's feel really go with what Kirei said , especially when you looks at Sakura's reaction just before she "kill" him, but I may be wrong Thanks for the proof, but I cant read it, l' m playing Ataraxia like , right know, on my computer. I Will surely came back here once over. Thanks anyway
@@alucard197 that's part of what makes kirei such a dick. he uses the truth in such a way that it hurts the person hearing it the most. he's not _wrong_ when he tells sakura that her alter ego is "made up". but he "forgets" to mention that while it is a "made up personality", it is no less real because of it. it only exists because sakura at that point (post shinji murder) chose to give in to the grail, and thus allowed herself to develop the "Dark" personality as a shell. the grail corruption was no less real, it's just that she was lying to herself, telling herself that she couldn't resist in, when in fact, she simply _chose_ not to, thanks to the events prior ( Such as shirou, the one person she chose to put all of her hope in, standing over her bed with a knife contemplating her death, and shinji being... shinji). it was less painful to go along with zouken and the grails corruption, than it was to resist, knowing that the one person who promised to protect you was almost willing to kill you.
@@alucard197 No, you are 100% wrong. There is no "for me" or "in my opinion" in this case. It is made explicitly clear that it is an alter ego. Kirei was being Kirei and gaslighting her.
@@nawalpandey718 Not with the demonic groans in the background though. This track is meant to convey Kotomine's false "holiness" as well as the imminent demonic threat about to be born into the world.
@@mr.battle20 This is not true to call angra mainyu completely evil. He punish others for their sins and a proof for other's goodness. But you are also right in your own way.
@@nawalpandey718 in the context of fate lore, Angra Mainyu is absolutely completely evil. To be fair, he was not a willing participant in becoming so, but the fact remains that he carries All the World’s Evil (and a shitton of curses) with him into the Grail.
Emmannuel Alexandre God, if I heard "Senpai" one more goddamn time during Heaven's Feel route, I would jump into the game and punch the shit out of Sakura. Talk about annoying.
That ending never ceases to creep me out. Hollywood horror genre is too much about blood and gore. Not enough movies know how to give us true terror, dread, and despair.
Whenever I watch an annoying anime character doing stupid shit and making me mad, I recall this music while picturing myself performing ominous things to them to no end. **Psychopathic Smirk**
Let's just pretend for a moment that she managed to buy enough time for the Ritual to be completed... "Watashi wa akuma.. Watashi wa kami nari... Watashi wa majin! Ufufufu~ Servant, Beast, konoyo subete no aku. Watashi no namae wa Angra Mainyu! Ningen... konoyo... subete no owari da, hajimeru."
She didn't know better due to the horrible abuse and misery. So if anything it's more forgivable and normal to have empathy for. I dunno why she's hated so much
Is this video broken for anyone else? It only buffers a few seconds of the video, and then stops buffering indefinitely, no matter where in the video I start at. None of NM64's other videos have this issue with me, either.
the voice acting in the scene where rin and sakura were fighting were amazing. Sakura's va in the last [sisters] was some of the best voice acting I've heard, Sakura's entire character is expertly done.
I friccin LOST IT when this track came on 💫 Its so perfect, especially contrasted with the original Church on the Hill (not the PS Vita version). The organ in CotH sounds fake and hollow, but the organ in this song sounds real and full. While both fakers, when Shirou and Kirei faced each other one last time, they both fought for something real. "I don't want to admit it. But it seems... I like Kotomine Kirei."
i don't think she was completely possessed, i just think she gave in to some of her darker emotions which i don't blame her for everything that happened to her.
You're right; she wasn't completely possessed. If she had been she would have been utterly consumed and Angra Mainyu would've been born, unleashing the Apocalypse. There was still good in Sakura, and that's what Tohsaka was able to reach with her act of mercy.
This song, mixed with the howling in the distance, brings a great sense of despair, and corruption, but also a tinge of sorrow. Considering which character had this theme, it's rather fitting, and completely evil.
God, I finished the Heaven's Feel route in the VN. Let me tell you, hearing this song after all the build up from the previous 15 days was honestly something breathtaking. Even moreso how similar it is to the Church theme. It has the perfect eerie vibe to it. While I have a personal bias for the Fate route, Heaven's Feel is just objectively the best route in the game. And it's not even close, man. (At least IMO)
@blackvoyagegames2429 Ah yes, Unlimited Blade Works...The route where two children constantly whine at each other like little babies because they don't want to lose a pointless argument. Yeah...that route...What about it? Lmao.
I'm not exactly a masochist, but I always love to include the pain in these kind of adventures. It gives "weight" on my adventure and bearing it sounds even more heroic.
@FateStayNightOST Funny thing about that, the source formats and those uploaded were: Image & video: PNG encoded to Camstudio Lossless Audio: FLAC RU-vid accepts a lot more formats than they advertise. ;)
This music doesnt bring out the "evilness" in my eyes (or ears). Lets say its 50% beauty, 30% drama and whats left is for philosophy to decide. I think true "evil" needs to nourish dark emotions. Stuff like rage, sorrow, fear, hate. Nothing from that is awakened in me. Most songs from Fear1 make me feel more threatened. ;->
I remember when I used to think that melody was fucking annoying, back in Fate route. Then I get there and my words go back my throat, one by one, enjoying the travel.
I actually liked the melody in the the church, but I didn't feel that the song was performed in a dark enough manner. Then I got to this part. Problem solved!
Is it wrong that even though I love Heavens Feel and sympathize with Sakura, I don't care for her or even like her? As far as I'm concerned, Illya was best girl of that route.
+Pacifierjunkee Its not a wrong opinion. HF is very controversial for having Sakura as the main character, who embodies the word victim, and largely blaming others for her passive behavior.
***** In the OG VN, she basically says the reason she lets Shinji rape her is because she 'feels sorry for him' because he was not imbued with magical circuits and she was, and felt that her being in the family was the reason for his complex that makes him an asshole. That's the biggest bunch of fuck i ever heard and i could not believe it when i read it. She was obviously broken many times before to come to that conclusion but it was just damned unacceptable to me for a women to say such a thing instead of being a positive and empowered force for women readers. If they had changed it to Shinji actually being strong enough to restrain her and she lived in fear, that's one thing. BUT SHE WAS STRONGER THAN HIM AND LET IT HAPPEN! That's not even proper victim status to just let events unfold in that manner
***** She blamed Rin for her current circumstances in her own mind and self justified it as Rin not caring or helping her, hence the angra mainyu manipulation exaggerating these details. She never thought why she was sitting around letting such things happen. I understand then we would not have a story, but it left me with a bad feeling.
+Shimon Brand You forgot the reason why Rin always visits the archery club, didn't you? Or why Rin saved Shirou in the first place -_- It was Sakura who was not doing a thing and blaming others for her circumstances. Besides her attitude being parodied in Carnival Phantasm pretty much confirms it. Meaning the creators are well aware of her character flaw. I wouldn't even say Rin's behavior was intolerable. She always hesitates when it comes to Sakura. Rin being a tsundere, she cannot execute her words to kill Sakura even though its her responsibility to do so, as a magus landowner of Fuyuki and as a sister. And yes both Shirou and Rin had their suspicions about Sakura and the shadow. They were just both in denial or believed/hoped things will get better.
1. My point was Rin did something. She even indirectly consulted Shirou about it. 2. It was regarding about her relationship with Rin. She always visits the archery club. They even greeted each other. Even if it wasn't enough at least Rin did something. 3. Rin actually answered this with her confrontation with Sakura. I do support her point even though she went overboard with it. 4. My point was that the creators know about her character flaw. 5. Its because you said it was intolerable. The tsundere part was just a jest. She is actually the character that I can relate to the most in F/sn as she is torn between her responsibility and what she really feel.
I don't know why but this song will not play more then 2 second on this browser. Can cookies do that or something? It is the only one that does this too. I don't understand.
CyanPoro Sakura is the failed version of the grail, embodying all of the worlds' evils. Kotomine is completely insane, though. He does not do things for good nor evil, but instead because he wishes to know what will happen. Erratic psychopaths are often better final bosses than "The Ultimate Evil" types, because they often embody enough human traits that they scare an individual because they are either so incomprehensible that their actions frighten other humans from their deepest instincts OR because they have enough relatable with them that it is scary to think of how you could have ended up just like them if things were just a bit different. My vote for "best Fate/Stay Night villain" goes to Kirei, for being truly bone-chilling while Sakura is more like a tortured and directionless animal following only its instincts to kill.
It's because Kirei's action for me doesn't make any sense, meaning i can't save him whatsoever, while on Sakura's side, she is a sacrifice for zouken on bearing Angra Mainyu, the myth embodying all the evils of the world, means that she is not completely conscious of what she's doing, and that gives me the urge to fight her, where there might be a chance to save her, in contrast to Kirei who goes on and on about his life, principle and whatsoever that doesn't reflect on my part, but definitely antagonizes me in a different way. We have completely opposite mindset and i appreciate that idea
Copied from another YT video comment about Kirei. "Not a sociopath. He knows the difference between right and wrong, and has a conscience. It's the reason he tried to do good instead of wrong, because he believed that was the correct path to happiness. Then, he discovered that only doing wrong truly makes him feel content and happy. He believes his existence to be wrong, which was why he was trying to bring an existence made of nothing but evil to life, so he could see if another being like him would regret its life as well, or revel in its own existence.'
@DarthHawthorne And besides, what's so awesome? It's not really any different from the old one i uploaded 2 years ago other than a longer loop and better image quality.
Well Dark(Sak)ura isn't neccesarily evil. She's simply possessed and brainwashed by Angra Mainyu. The track is more suspenseful and "this is where shit truly gets real"-ish than "evil".
@gngskpow Indeed, I agree with you of course, I just wanted to point that when we imagine ourselves in these kinds of adventures, we tend to leave out the more "unpleasant" parts lol
@wisefelipe Fair enough. Personally, I just meant "exciting enough for me to go on a kick-ass adventure, but as they say, "no pain, no gain." Just goes to show you how balls-to-the-walls Shirou is, to endure all that.
