The Zumwalt was supposed to have rail guns. It didn't happen. They had an interim (not interim after rail gun cancelled) gun system on it (advanced gun system). It was then decided that the ammo for the advanced gun system was too expensive after they made just enough for experiments. So the guns ended up not having ammo. At best, the Zumwalt might get some extra missile launchers for hypersonic missiles, but I will believe it when I see it

I was a bit skeptical at first but I actually really enjoyed Girls und Panzer. The overall premise seems odd, but then you learn that they pretty much have to do everything by hand, firing and loading of the gun, gunsight alignment, maintenance of the tank, etc.

Yeah....We Brits might have physically produced the first tank. But our blueprints still suck to a degree. But yeah...Our production and finical assets have seen better days and Politicians...Like when did they do something to help and not hinder in any-way shape or form. Also we are an Island... I am willing to admit that I was wrong about a lot of things in this war. Like I thought Putin wouldn't of been dumb enough to start this war. For fear of antagonising Europe. I thought Russia was going to overwhelm Ukraine, was wrong about that too.

Unfortunately not all countries have the deep pockets of the IS military industrial complex where we can waste money on useless or pointless military projects but in fairness the challenger 2 isn’t the best tank in the world far from it but it’s the best good enough tank, for what the British military had at the time and people forget that buying a foreign tank (ISNT CHEAP) especially when you have to consider the INSANE costs in both procurements, modifications to fit British tank doctrines as well as having to retrain your entire MILITARY AND LOGISTICS from the ground up, the time and money in not only being reliant of buying a handful of foreign equipment means that your country is entirely co dependent another country be it for new tanks themselves, the purchase of an entire new arsenals worth of spare parts be it from specific engine parts, coolants, engines oil to grease, not only that but there’s also the political and legal implications such as future or upgrade packages as well as foreign technology and software systems such as say the F35, what do you think would happen if the British decided to pull out of the joint venture in which Britain or BAE systems owned 70% of any and all hardware and software systems vital to the F35? Things like landing gear software or the heads up display systems?

Ukraine's victory condition is Russia collapsing into civil war when Peter the great's empire comes apart and Siberia declares independence.
