It doesn’t matter what kind of day or week I’m having, Brad’s posting gives me 20 minutes to get away and enjoy some quality content. Thanks for keeping me entertained!
Awesome to be featured on the vlog! It was really cool that you and Andrew took the time to have some drinks with me and Jeff. You're really down to earth and great guys. The whole thing was a once in a lifetime experience for me. Awesome run, and its fun seeing it again in the vlog format. Really hoping 2023 will be a great year for you. Keep up the good work!
Man imagine waking up in Vegas for a poker tourney. You see the big beautiful strip. The big beautiful Casino that you’ll be playing at. The sunshine. The decorations. All of it, man. Looks so awesome. You’ve come such a long way, Brad. I’m sure you have your struggles like the rest of us, but you’re living your dream and that’s so awesome. You deserve it. You’re a good dude. These vlogs are awesome and little bits of joy that some of us really appreciate.
@@Nikkithedog-t6byou can certainly look at it like that, or you can be grateful for the unique position you’re in and enjoy it the best you can. There’s plenty to find beautiful about the properties out on the strip
So much respect for you. I love poker but no idea how I could have survived that last session of day 2 after that brutal river. Excited for the next video!
Honestly the 5b shove is not an overplay against such a good player like Adam. He’s literally at the top of his range there, and has tons of hands that are 4b bluffs/ 4b or folds
@@kevincorey5148 yeah tournament crushers like Adam know that not many people are going to have hands to call 4b with basically AK, AA, KK and maybe QQ. So they 4b light a ton in tournaments with hands like A4-5s , Kqs, Ako, 10s, 9s, Qjs, and more. Usually they’ll have a 4b/fold hand it’s very rare that when they 4b they have a 4b/call hand because no one really 5b anymore. So if they’re main goal is to get it all in, they will just size for a shove with the 4b. Tough to explain here and not worth the time but if you think tournament crushers are only 4b with nutted hands boy are you in for a surprise
Brad, that's my brother with the JsJd at 12:40! I find it hilarious they got his name wrong. It was awesome for him to play at the table with y'all. He was upset on the phone for playing very nervous on TV; he also knew I'd see it twice cause I talk about your channel. He's had some great cashes this year already -- so he wasn''t too bummed. His name is Walker Miskelly if you run into him again somewhere.
Forever grateful for your hospitality. Was awesome to enjoy some drinks with you Julian and Andrew. This is only the beginning of my poker journey… you just gave me the boost I needed to work on becoming the best player I can be. Again… forever grateful
I feel like your stack management and aggression levels were on point for this tournament...you played thoughtfully but not too conservatively...and a great result was fun to watch. You got it in good and just got beat...but you got really far. Congrats!
I was watching this live when it was going on. I’d just got back from college for winter break, and I wanted to watch every second of you and Daniel go deep. It was the most I’ve ever been invested in a poker livestream. Awesome result Brad! Keep being the GOAT
Been watching you for years, never commented. I am living vicariously through you, you are living one of my dreams. Good luck buddy, you are most definitely my favorite poker player.
Good playing with you, Brad. QQ seems like mandatory get in, but definitely agree against certain population flatting or making fold. Sometimes its just poker and have to run the cards.
Sounds weird, but I just love that you look nervous sometimes and not are one of the loud extrovert guys who just laugh everything away. So relatable, it's big money and many ppl watching
@@BradOwenPoker I watched your whole run on WPT’s channel, so I know how it ends, but I’m so excited to visit your thoughts and all the hands we couldn’t see! Can’t wait for the next one :)
Great Vlog, Brad! Your commentary is so good! I love to know what you are thinking in certain spots and why you do what you do! Can't wait for the next episode! GL in your upcoming tourneys!
You know brad i think nearly everyone in the world would have played the QQ hand the exact same way. You can analyze what ifs all day but you're never not getting it in there and you were wayyyyy ahead. He just sucked out. I think it was well played. Keep the chin up man we all see you headed to be one of the legends of the game. Great stuff keep em coming. #JiggityNation is behind you
just hearing how you gave away the other seats you won is amazing and heart warming..... nice to hear some great people are still out there... now you have another fan ,,, cheers and subscribed.
I've been watching a lot of this through the tournament channel, and other places. But I was really looking forward to hearing what it was like from your POV. Can't wait for the rest of this.
The look walking down the hall when saying the feeling is like getting hit by a truck - if you’ve played a lot you definitely know that feeling. Between devastation and exasperation. I flûkking love this game and this blog.
Thanks for all the effort you put into your videos. I don't even play poker myself anymore but am hooked watching your blogs, top notch entertainment 👍🏻
Love the vlogs Brad, been watching for over a year now ever since I started playing myself, youve helped me improve a lot, and i hope to meet you one day, if your every in chicago
Awesome lodge setup! I went over there for the first time. Loved it but sadly didnt get to see you. Maybe sometime or another. Awesome videos as always Brad!
I religiously follow every episode of yours Brad. I can see how luck part evens out with you doubling up with AQ against QQ and losing out with QQ against AK. It's all part of the game. Consistently playing good is what sets you apart. Great going Brad!
I Love that play 14:43 ! Very cool in that you didnt even know you hit the straight not to give anything away to Blake. Must take discipline to do that and you were rewarded. Sick play.
That was a brutal King on the river!! Maybe it was the poker gods balancing out your lucky Ace on the river against QQ. Looking forward to part 2. Go Team Bradley!
Chidwick is a bad boy. One of my favorites. I play here in Houston at Prime, but The Lodge is a great place to play as well. Nice to see Brad improve and keep playing. People don’t understand how intense the grind is and the competition has gotten so much better. It’s a young man’s game.
"We are not at a little girl's tea party. It's no time to get cute or fancy" 6:50. May be one of the best lines ever. I hope you made that up @bradowen. LOL Thanks for what you do my friend.
You did the right thing. He called you with big slick hoping to hit and got saved. I'm making that same play 10 times out of 10 given the same position and action.
Hey Brad, first off congrats. I watched nearly all of this tournament because of you. It's great to get inside your head and know your thoughts on some of these situations. Second, I wanted to say Bellagio started up their $160 NL $3k guarantee tournaments last week and I was able to chop up a win on the first one! It was my first live tournament experience and it couldn't have gone any better. In crucial spots I would think to what you would do or remind myself on what an opponents betting range is and it paid off. Appreciate all that you do for poker and can't wait for Thursday's vlog.
Great job on the coverage and deep run Brad. Best to you always. Btw, I loved that dramatic close-up of you, at the bar, in Andrews new video. 🤣Hilarious.
Love the blog, been following for agars and just catching up on your WPT blogs. btw AKo hand against AQo, K is not the only card to help as a 10 gives you a straight too.
