They even referenced The Scottish Curse, which says that saying the name Macbeth inside a theatre will result in bad luck and disaster (saying the name in script while rehearsing or performing is the only exception). it shows that Kratos has succeeded in thwarting the Son kills father cycle in a way that Cronos and Zeus never even thought of and failing because of it; by accepting that his son will surpass him someday and that he can't be on top or rule forever. even ENCOURAGING Atreus to surpass him. had Cronos or Zeus not let paranoia or prophecy dictate their actions based on their sons "possibly" overthrowing them, they would've prevented a LOT of tragedy and pointless death and bloodshed from "certainly" happening.

@@iponce2 I meant the more you take away from someone a piece of themselves goes with it. The more someone loses themselves the further they can be drivin by a negative emotion, for Kratos this is anger and everything was taken away from Kratos, driving him mad enough to kill an entire pantheon.

Honestly, I like this idea. I see too often theories or fan-concepts of the whole "Kratos in Egypt" thing, but it never sat right with me. Midgard was the first place he finally was happy in, and was where he finally had a chance at a happy family he wouldn't be tricked into killing. Especially now that Odin's dead, what reason would Kratos have to move pantheons again? If anything, I believe if ever he could die of old age, he'd ask Atreus to take his ashes to where Faye's is so he may be with her again in death.
