When I was younger I used to play evil for every single choice in pretty much every game, now that I'm older my sith warrior (main) is now a more honorable and humble soldier rather than a threatening and dominating warlord, I always play a more nuanced sith, loyal to the empire but not bloodthirsty, always reciprocate respect and honor noble foes, but always go for the kill when facing dishonorable and two faced enemies, never got into the RP aspect too much but still love making little decisions through his character outline
I like playing DS characters but doing LS choices , it really gives the game a different perspective , I was just never able to make myself be truly evil , although sometimes zapping NPC's is fun lol.
recently started a sith sorc and today i had to run through a lot of rebel slaves…i zapped several groups, then felt bad so i just ran past as they tried to murder me
Been following this channel for quite a long time. Always helpful guides, infectious passion for playing Swtor and undoubtedly bringing in many new players that may have been on the fence about playing. Swtor is lucky to have you. Congrats on 150k and here's to many more!
I love this game. It’s a breath of fresh air in terms of good Star Wars games. It proves that EA aren’t the only ones that can make good franchise titles.
I love creating little back stories for my characters. Nothing to this extent but usually a general feel of a character. If its a bounty hunter, do they value money, always finishing the job, or maybe just doing the laziest job possible? do they like the Mando's armor or do they do their own thing, their own style. Stuff like that for each class. It usually plays into the overall style of what they wear and what alignment they go for. Makes replaying the stories a bit more engaging.
CONGRATS ON 150K HOLY MOLY!!! Super incredible to see the journey throughout the years. Starting it off with the OG char that I remember the most from our times of raiding/guild. I got some backstories for my characters too, kinda been writing about them for a few and how they connect with each other. My own made up story but also keeping it simple and connected to Swtor, the only difference is... the higher chapters aren't similar and each character has their own path. It is fun being creative in star wars, but I'm not a very good writer so it is just for fun. My favorite character so far is a twi'lek smuggler called Na'til, she was a slave before and had lost her arm and legs during those dark times. Thankfully she was saved by a kind sith, one of my other characters called Za'thuul. Long story short, they have been traveling together for a bit before going their own way.
Roleplaying within SWToR has been a creative treasure chest for me. It is interesting to hear your works with your characters and it really invigorates me to continue with my own. But there aren't really many people who enjoy any type of roleplay in the EU servers...

I'm a bit new to swtor only been playing for like 6 months now haven't joined any guilds yet and I play solo most the time but I'm so happy I'm not the only one that creates back stories to all there characters
The way you feel about your trooper is how I feel about my BH. I Rp him like, "the higher the risk the higher the reward." I love the bh style the stroy is my favorite and alot of my friends play as sith or jedi so I was always in love with boba as a kid. I will be specing in to Sniper/oprative so I can get in and extract my targets or just run in blow stuff up and send a msg like a powertech. I cant wait for this update.
i am so glad i was able to put a blaster rifle in the outfitter for my tooper sniper its also a Vanguard its my main i do have a back story for him i do that for most of my classes
Sabotage 46:46 looks great! Sometimes the simplest outfits are the best. Probably because they don't clash with their surroundings, and compliment the character.
I love your characters' stories and depth behind them. I never played much swtor, but when I did, I had a Sith Sorcerer (i think, the other sith aside from the Sith Warrior). And I had a story for him as well and I was very excited with the roleplay. But I stopped playing for a while and when I came back, and I tried to log in, it asked me for the one time password thing, and I kept requesting it but I never got the one time password. So I haven't been able to log back into that account. It was quite the bummer honestly
I made a very fun role play of my 4 imperial story characters meeting.The inquisitor and warrior met on Korriban and formed a friendship.hThey helped each other complete their trials.The imp agent and bounty hunter bumped into each other in Nemros palace.They also helped each other complete their goals.All 4 of them met on the arrivals ship going from the imp fleet to Dromund Kass.After that i went crazy and created a story that’s probably longer then the main questline/class story.I recently added my favorite part of my role play series and that is the once greedy bounty hunter sacrificing himself by throwing himself into an army of thousands of sith,Jedi,troopers,and imp agents to save his friends who are traitors of the Republic and empire.Roleplaying is really fun.

I will say, My Chiss Jedi Anale 'gae' ackriaasi (Legaea) is disappointed with your Chiss name choices. Yes, the Chiss naming convention for Legaea is correct. Yes, I go hard with character creation.
I have a Trooper I put in that Cartel armor that has a destroyed version as well with bullet holes. And I switched from good to destroyed after the droid boss in KotFE chapter 1. So it looked kinda like I barely survived the ship's explosion before being captured by Zakuul. Picked up among floating debris or something. Shame few armors have that destroyed alternate look.
Niceness. I have a sith pureblood sith marauder, zabrak jedi knight, sith pureblood sith assassin, cyborg operative and human mercenary. I main my Sith marauder and current on Nar Shadda.
Lol I have two kinds of characters, "canon" and "variants". "Canon" are my main characters that I play seriously, and the "variants" are characters based on other IP's. One is a Bounty Hunter named "Geralt Orivea" (Witcher), an Operative called "Cera Kerrigan" (StarCraft), and a Sorcerer called "Ánnatar" (Lord of the Rings). Come 7.0, I'm making an Inquisitor Marauder based on Loki and a Smuggler Mercenary based on Peter Quill from the MCU.
Wow! Thats a lot good charecters! I find intering that on the contrary of most MMORPG, The Old Republic rly give us many reason for creat new chearecters. Kind of remind me when i start my charecters too. I did start the game as Sith Sorcerer human call Jayne(dark side) when the rise of the hutt cartel just came out, at the same time i did a Bounty Hunter Powertech Cyborg (light side) call Moorswestford (at time you cond't have 2 names o the same charecter, but charecter name i have the ideia from Game Of Thornes RPG game), and while latter i made Christofs( was supose to be Christof Shinsengumi, like i charecter i made on RPG game, but cound't put 2 names at time) as jedi Knight Guardian Miraluka (Light Side), then move to a twi'lek smugller call Caisitine (dark side). A while latter i did sith Wairror Maruaduer Pure Sith call Seafire (dark side), and my Operative Chriss, Trish'don (neutral side) and my jedi concil Shadow Miraluka, Silmeria Shinsengumi (light side). At lesat, i made Tychus Warfield(light side) as my trooper Zabrak Commando (referese to Starcraft 2 Tychus and General Warfield). Since the allow now to put 2 names at charecter, became a lot more esay to chose. I do intend to creat more charecter to see class stroys from other class as diferente side a chose before (dark side or light side), but decide to wait for the next expasion to come before creat, but probaly will be Bounty Hunter dark side or jedi Knight dark side.
I miss this game so much it is so sad that nearly 95% of the game difficulty is dead. Because back when update 4.0 launched, BioWare re-balanced the combat so you pretty much can't lose, and it kinda ruined the game for me. Leveling, crafting, getting better gear, learning your class, none of that matters until you get into the endgame now. The bulk of SWTOR is solo friendly story content, and it's been made so easy it isn't fun or satisfying anymore. You used to need to learn your class a bit, and leveling or equipping better gear actually felt like progression, but now you can go have a snack while your companion solos quest bosses.
Really nice,would u ever use iokath reputation armor? I use it and it looks dope on my character,so I was just hoping u would use it on one of your characters and the best part is its legacy bound
Great video. I've created a few backstories for my characters too. It's always interesting to hear about other player's characters and personalities. Even if they are gimmick characters. I've been taking a few art courses online (haven't been at it in a while because of work, church commitments and college). All my toons are restricted to the story events in game however, e.g my Trooper is the Havoc Squad Commander, my Knight is the Battlemaster and Alliance Commander etc. However I did try to come up with some back stories for them and wanted to create a comic story for them. My Knight and Consular were initiates in the Bergruffta clan on a Jedi Enclave on Drall. My Knight was rescued and taken in by the Order as a child from Imperial Occupied Serreno and was in fact the weakest candidate who was more likely to be reassigned to the Jedi Service Corps and was bullied by members of the Bear Clan. That's all I have so far, haven't really gone in depth with my other six or seven toons.
I love the way your mind works.. I created a character named Narrator who is an ex stripper who had her tongue cut out.... That had to be interesting to role play having to tell everyone what was going on WITHOUT using words.
This video made me want to share my 4 characters (im a free to play rn) sero nui:my main character, hes a sith assasin inquisitor and he was taken from his family and became a slave, sero was abused alot by his owner and got a deep cut scar on his cheek trying to escape, he eventually got tired of his slavery and let out a bunch of rage and let out force lighting and killed his owner and freed his slave companions. He was then escored to korriban and was trained to be a sith, he eventually became a sith lord throughout time but never understood the ways of the sith (hes a lightside sith) after his long trials he visited drummond kass and got a group of sith inquisitors that went rebellious towards the sith empire and they're secretly destroying the sith empire. The group is made with me and my friends and its called the gundark gunners. He was also trainded by Revan and was given a replica of revans mask. (sero wears masks to hide his scar and identity) sera nui:sera was sero's younger brother and a jedi sentinel, he was named similarly to sero because his parents got very sad after their son got taken away.sera learned he was force sensitive and became a jedi and began his trials on tython. He was very strong in the force and became a jedi master, he always had a pain of guilt that he never tried looking for his brother so he wore a mask to hide his past. after he confronted the gunark gunners he realized he was dueling his own brother and revealed his face and joined them to destroy the empire. sergeant sergeant alpha (yes I accidentaly added sergeant in his name and didnt realize there was a sergeant title when I made him): sergeant alpha was a soldier and commando in the republic army for a long time, he never disobeyed orders and he was very loyal towards the republic. After he met sera nui when he was a padawan, they became good friends and alpha served sera alot. and yes I looked up soldier names and alpha was the first one, and hes also the alpha male. Darth Alkaidus: Alkaidus was sero's dark side energy he never used and it left his body and materialized into a clone of sero, he has a different scar because he was materialized without one and got a different one in a fight and he is pure dark side, instead of wearing full masks like sero he mainly wears a respirator only using the grand inquisitor helmet and eradicator mask as full masks and/or helmets. He's a sith marauder instead of an inquisitior and he does what has to be done for the empire without questioning.

I have 24 characters on one server and 11 on another. I think I might have a problem lol. I do enjoy creating a family tree for them get quite interesting.
I have back stories on some of my toons. In fact, I had to create them for a couple of guilds in order to join! I love creating the stories and friends of mine who have zero interest in games have told me I should think about writing them in more detail...at least as fan fic. I used the Primeval Stalker (I think it's called) on my BH. She looked badass in it and it has bones and I think fur. I've been leveling other toons for so long I kinda forget what it looks like but I think it fits old school bh. As far as leveling, and I could be mixing this up with another game, but I thought we had someone on fleet who could freeze our leveling. Am I misremembering this? If we do have it, this would be a great tool for those who don't want to out level certain areas. Thanks for sharing your toons! It's fun to see what people create! I have a Gunslinger named Lara and yeah, I totally created her after Lara Croft and was able to mix and match pieces to give her that look. I have another toon a Vanguard named Seven of Nine because why not? Her gear is a bit more racy - Ventilated Scalene (sans helmet) - so more of a spicy sort of cyborg. :P It's so much fun to recreate toons after characters from SW or other franchises.
I know im late to the party, but i would like to ask if you have a rp-like guild inside of SWTOR? it seems very fun and i want to start to lean more into RP things with my characters.
So cool :D i deleted all but 2 of my characters, a pure blood sith Republic trooper that alings herself with the darkside, and a torguta jedi warrior that is kinda like a grey jedi, i kept them both because they craft my armors, but when the New expansión comes out im going to replay the sith warrior story line as a lighting warrior, that may end up using light side powers because in the end he end up married to my jedi warrior, and together they comand the alliance fighting the republic and reforming a better empire

So do I have this right...you can play the Jedi Consular story but with a Sith Inquisitor moveset, but you can't pick and choose? I think if that's the case, then it's a missed opportunity. If I wanted to play a grey Jedi, then I could pluck out a few dark side abilities to mix with my regular consular moveset. It's a shame if you really can't do that. It's still cool though.
What server do you play on and is your guild open for people? Guild I’m in is just dead and it gets boring soloing everything or just not being able to do ops and whatnot
@@Swtorista you can actually print images that are 1980×1020 on canvas, i printed one of mass effect legendary edition on the size of a movie poster, and it looks beautifull on my livving room, also, we should make a character backstory contest ... just an idea, if you let me i can send you a pic of the canvas i printed
You could still try. Like, maybe your characters are able to speak [name your native language as anything you like], who are still learning Basic [English in the Star Wars Universe].
I need to make one of these vids in the future. I do have a few characters that I made for memes but decided to use for my own stories. First is Clonestarr, a Mirialan Smuggler Scoundrel. The joke is that he was supposed to be a defective clone of Lone Star from Spaceballs. I know, I should've put a space in the name. The next is Chadmiral Thraun, a parody of the "Chad" meme and Admiral Thrawn. As "Thrawn" is a prohibited word for names, I had to find a different spelling and realized that "Thrawn" does rhyme with "Taun" like in Taun Taun. Another was Phatt'eus, literally a fat Rattataki. I created him as a joke and he became the biggest joke between me and my friends. He was literally sliced up by my friend's sorcerer and wears Dark Skotia's armor with one of the cyborg heads, but the armor makes him look fatter. And yes, he goes around on a "mobility speeder", or a "space rascal" as we jokingly call it. I plan on killing him off soon. The last meme character I'm talking about is Mørk Hjelm, it's Norwegian for "Dark Helmet" like that character from Spaceballs. However, this character is a female Darkside Zabrak. I mainly made her just to take up the name and to replace Phatt'eus.

Who is your Favorite Character to play? mine is my Twi'lek Sage who was my very first one I ever made, I made versions of her on other servers as I just love the look.
Good idea for a video but i got almost 3 minutes in and heard a spoiler. Maybe its small and inconsequential, i dont know as i haven't played through all the storylines yet, but i'm afraid i can't watch right now. Not until ive played through all the stories first. Probably most people watching this have done that already though so its not an issue for a lot of viewers. Still, i wish there'd been a warning before i heard anything at all about the plot.
