You can only get a Corolla with a CVT trans. You cant get one with a 5 speed stick or 5 speed automatic. If you opt for the Corolla hatch with a 3 cyl engine you can get a Stick🤔
I was expecting something to shock me with something out of the ordinary. I wanted a 200 horse power car that gets 55mpg.. i was not shocked, but let down and disappointed
If I am right aren't Toyota in 2026 going to use the BYD Hybrid Power Train in the Corolla and right at this moment using GAC Motors (China) in some of their other models. But I thought Toyota had the best Hybrid system in the world, well at less that's what they have you lead to believe
I have heard people say about the Toyota Corolla the car is a piece of crap. The Camry is not far behind it. Toyota used to be great cars but now they are no better than a Chrysler product.

You need to put down the bong. Had a basic 05 Corolla for 16 years, sold it to my nephew. He can probably drive it for 10 more years. Absolute bomb proof car.
I have a 2020 Toyota Corolla the new ones are a piece of junk like I said. The car has a CVT transmission that is always struggling, the car is already rusting on the roof, and the car is generating a miss with only 35K miles. I would call that a piece of junk and I do not race or drive my cars aggressively.
Nope i am a mechanic it’s just crappy paint job from the factory. Just face it after Covid they are using cheap parts that is affecting quality. It is what it is….
@YurLord Yeah well from my experience with buying a brand new 09 camry and having an oil consumption problem along with thousands of other people where toyota knew about the problem and refused to pay for the problem now in 2024. Car doesn't have too many miles because I don't drive that much. So keep calling people names.
@marklintwo And at the time when when they did the oil consumption on my car it was not burning oil. That wa in 2015 with 50k miles Now it is in 2024 with 80k miles.
@@Lovesthe80s Good luck. Toyota/Lexus is still at the top of the long-term reliability ratings, and has consistently been for decades. All manufacturers have and will have problems
