I own an Elantra Sport, and I think that the engine will really shine in a smaller, tidier car like this i20N. I look forward to the Elantra N sedan...too bad about the looks, which have declined since the 2018 model.
Would you guys consider kindly adding time stamps? Thomas always does a great job of following the same formula for each video but it'd be useful to jump back to specific information when rewatching. Thanks for your great work ... Let's Go!
Thanks Thomas for a good review of the i20N. Hyundai seem to be really nailing it with their recent new cars. This looks great with a high specification for a small car. Looking forward to your driving impressions in a future video.
You're the BOSS. ...I switched the vid to normal i20 because I couldn't find here if there is heating steering wheel. Up there You mentioned about it 23:29 so I come back to this vid and I can see the button at 4:44. Even if You don't say about all stuff we can easily find the info. Full length, full screen, full info! ..after so many years You still deliver, highly appricieted!
Really surprised there isn't any real sign of red stitching on the interior. I thought that would be a sure thing to match the body trim and red calipers!
0:58 the dotted structure in the grill is meant as little race flags, same detail as the fog lighting on a clio / megane RS. Just a nice small detail :)
since I am a BIIIIG WRC fan, I would change those rims with some OZ or Sparco or Enkei rally style rims (like the ones on the Hyundai in the background). Dark gray in the back and hot red in front so it can look like the rally version.
Very good review! Also, I have a question about the seats. I'm quite tall and I'm worried about the short backrest and the chubby headrest: do you feel that the chubby headrest may press against the shoulders causing an uncomfy ride? Do you remember how it felt to seat in the car? Thanks!
The speedometer design needs to be improved and im not so keen on the pattern on the front grill (the WRC versions grill looked much better and cleaner imo) but the rest of the car seems amazing. Think this might be my next ride!
Yeah same here. That racing flag style front grill is a bit too childish. I'm also considering getting this as my next toy. I currently own a Swift Sport
@@stephengriffin4990 Not too much indeed. 130km/h is ok and 140 is even better, but 110 is pretty slow for highways especially if the country is a big one. Germany is beyond reality...no speed limit on most of the highways... place for hot hatches.
Warranty is only good if the manufacturer honors it. Ask people in North America about Hyundai's handling of their failed Theta engines or all the vehicles that were recalled only after a class action lawsuit cause they burst into flames. Been over 3000 fires so far. They live off hype created by media and ignorant people. Reality is they build crap with piggybacked engineering and options, which allows them to sell for cheaper and make people think they are a superior product.
They aren't always the same as the standard 3 year warranty most cars get. Some change what they cover based on miles and age so even if you have a 5 or 7 year warranty some parts are not covered after 3+ years, always read the small print not the big advertising letter
No, totally separate model. BUT, since Hyundai killed the Elantra GT N-line, this might be a good replacement, especially if they list it less than $25K. We are getting the Kona something (N-line or N) first I believe.
Should be a modestly priced car if they continue to build i20's in Izmit, Turkey. Sadly, we all know Hyundai will hike up the price. The marketing department will be working flat out to substantiate the claims of so-called 'engineering advancements', 'advanced structure and architecture', 'connectivity', driving assistance technology and other buzzwords and jargon factored into the vehicle's price (I bet the consumer will have little change from 23,000 GBP/25,000 EUR).
@@Xperiemce 😂 a ver si bajan la media de los 95gr/km para no tener que pagar nosotros la multa! viendo lo que cuesta un fiesta st o polo gti... Yo empezaré a preguntar por los conces dentro de poco
