I was watching RU-vid on my Samsung laptop 2018 then a green box appears so I play back and it doesn't disappear it continues until the green essence kills my screen and I never saw the laptop ever again
@Squid Game 🅥 tbh people was once smart doing rickrolls but nowadays its just stupid bots failing stupidly remeber the guy who rickrolled youtube? it was smart
If I remember correctly the thing at 57:42 isnt actually software gore, i mean it could be, but at some point during a team go rocket event (I think it may have been the go fest one a while back) there were multiple notifications that were just "R"
19:14 Yes Emkay, you win by making your King evolve into a Mega Chessatron but that only happens when you kill enough wild Links then gain their exp while doing a speedrun of mario64 Been there, done that.
Congratulations Emkay. You have successfully gotten my ADHD ass to sit down and watch a full 1-hour episode without stopping, as to how, I couldn't answer.
19:13 As a chess nerd, I can tell you that it thickens your pieces movement. For example, the king can now move anywhere within a 5x5 grid around it (previously it moved 3x3) now that it’s huge. As for the other issues: Pawn deletion: Black played a strategy where they got rid of 6 of their pawns, and added a new king, acting as an extra life. Their first king is the one that gained the huge status effect Prawk: White played the Prawk move, merging a Rook and a Pawn into the same piece. This makes it so that all that prawks moves are double steps, regardless where it is. Still moves forwards only, however.
tbf.. thats kinda the point of logos in general to be easily recogniazable evne if only parialy visible simplified logos just make the overall design simpler making it more easily recongnizable

An explanation for the avocado being called a laywer, it was likely translated from French as “Avocado” and “Laywer” have the same word in French, “Avocat”. or at least to google translate it does, which is where this was probably translated.
@@rtg55 he isn’t a bot also do u want a link? Imma edit this comment to show u the link Edit: ok here’s the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PXqcHi2fkXI.html
Deelee recently came to an end so they did these on that channel, and they were so well received that they probably figured to do them here too. Plus it's an excuse to rerelease content with Damien in it

The -0 one is possibly very exciting from a numerical representation perspective. Theres two ways to represent negative numbers with only binary, ones complement and twos complement. Basically for an 8 bit number 4, b00000100 if you want -4 in twos complement, what most modern computers use, itd be all the bits flipped +1. So b11111100. But ones complement just flips the bit, so b11111011. The interesting thing tho about ones complement is that -0 is a valid concept and is distinct from 0
I like to watch videos like this while eating dinner, and I nearly choked many many times from laughing so hard. I had to pause the video because I was laughing too hard.
18:22 - NO WAY ITS MY POST Context: my MacBook’s SSD died so i tried downloading macOS on an external drive. After like 3 hours of trying, it didn’t work because I formatted the drive in AFS which wasn’t supported by the ANCIENT OS I was installing.
The Bakersfield weather thing just reminds me of that one clip of the weather man seeing a messed up temperature rating and just completely straight faced, says "Everyone in McKinney is dead."
I wasn't paying attention to my computer screen for a small bit and then this video autoplayed and I almost had a heart attack That intro almost killed me I give this video a 10/10 for that and I haven't even had time to watch it yet
0:50 I love how the auto translator got that from what was probably "tried to take their kids fastest relief pitch to second base" or something along those lines.
34:47 It's a refresh issue, to save on resources many programs and websites don't update the entire picture for every frame of a video, only the parts that change. Also, a common method of compression is to look for pixels that have been translated but otherwise stay the same (e.g. if an object moves left in the video, it may be able to just move the pixels already corresponding to that object to the left, instead of updating the image with data from this new frame). Issues like this appear when the program effectively misses a change in the image, so you move to the next frame and it keeps the entire image the same, but more importantly it thinks that this old image is what this new frame is supposed to look like. So then when things begin to move in this new image, it causes the parts of the image corresponding to the movement to be updated while any stationary parts of the image stay the same, and if compressed as mentioned above, any pixels it would be translating to a new location will still be the pixels of the old image, just moved. In this case, the effect was particularly pronounced because the new scene had very little movement or other changes frame to frame, if for example the video had instead cut to a scene of someone looking out the window of a moving car, the majority of the image would have very quickly updated due to the amount of change each frame, and in either case if the scene after the erroneous one is an entirely new the image, the video will return to normal as the entire image is updated.
My Dad told me one time where a ticket machine in a parking garage was rapidly going "Pleaseinsertyourparkingticketpleaseinsertyourparkingticketpleaseinsertyourparkingticketpleaseinsertyourparkingticket" with like no delay.
“The error is unknown because the guy who wrote this part of the code quit a while back and he was like really really smart and the rest of us are not really sure how this works or what to do…. BTW. If you are that guy please give us a call and let us know what to do.” “Sonic is hacking your computer” “An error occurred while displaying the previous error” “Your computer sucks” “Something happened _something happened_ “ I love those so much! Made me laugh right away! Good job editor!
"An airport is the last place I'd expect to see a glitch like this..." As someone who works at an airport, I can confirm that junk like 17:38 happens all the time to the information marquees. I once saw an arrivals screen glitch out and the list ended up displaying sideways. Some have also been on for so long without a break that they've burned images into the screens, which can make them hard to read.
3:52 This one is particularly strange, because the header of the window talks about an SSD which doesn't even have the concept of rotation in it's read/write process. So perhaps the program just accessed information that isn't there and the drive responded with an all ones bitstring, since 65535 is also 2^16 - 1 which is the value you would read from two one-filled bytes back-to-back, which is probably just the default set for unsupported information.
@@extra_ezra3501 I'll try to maneuver around the highly technical bits, but no promises. Old HDD drives used spinning magnetic disks to store data (maybe google an image if you don't know what I'm referring to), so there was an actual, physical rotation happening when reading/writing the drive, which the system could track. When the system requests such information, like the rotation speed of the disk, the drive would probably respond with a sequence of bits that (converted to a base 2 number) give said rotation speed. Modern SSD drives use a different way to store data (I don't know exactly how either) that doesn't involve physical spinning. But they would probably still handle system requests for rotation speed for the sake of compatibility. But since they don't have any actual information to provide, they would instead use a default/error code. Common choices for that would be a sequence of 0 bits (makes a binary 0) or a sequence of 1 bits (gives the binary number 2^length - 1). These bitsequences are usually not of arbitrary length, but instead consist of one or multiple bytes (8 bits). So a sequence of 1 bits of such length would translate to a value of 2^8 - 1, 2^16 - 1, ..., so if you ever encounter any of those numbers in a place where it shouldn't be (like here) there's a good chance it's just an indication of some kind of error. The above theory to the origin of that error sequence is of course pure speculation, but I'd consider it reasonable given the information and some technical knowledge that I'm not detailing here.
The glitchy GPS moments remind me of my old family car, which was manufactured in Japan and hadn’t be recalibrated to show our country’s map. Every time my parents drove me to school, the map would show us in a massive body of water with a little blip in the middle of the screen indicating that’s where our car was, and the voice in the car would freak out (still speaking Japanese so we couldn’t understand her though) I don’t know if we still use or even have that car anymore, but it was the funniest thing.
17:10 hey, they're fixing it!.. eventually. that screen is a BIOS recovery screen, and those never auto-open unless you installed some SERIOUS malware, and i'd be suprised if that thing's open to the wider internet at all!
Pretty rough. All the other Toppats were pretty useless so it was just up to me to stop him. I didn't. And so he hijacked the rocket just to send us to the Wall. Im sending this messagefrom eternal solitary confinement
I once had a minecdaft glitch where the fox texture was replaced with the inventory, so all my foxes were just rows of items, but not normal items, structure voids and command blocks and blank spawn eggs
