i thought this was definitely weird when i first saw it, given she's closer to ruby and yang is kinda the big sis of the team but then i realized, Blake knows exactly how Weiss is feeling in this moment because its the exact same thing Adam did to her. the emotional abuse and manipulation to control her. it was just so amazingly well done but yeah. those two could've really used a few more scenes together. Also kinda wish Adam had mentioned that Blake was teamed up with the daughter of the most racist man alive

Hopefully, they’re going to let bygones be bygones once they see how erratic and irrational Ironwood is acting. I know they have a duty to serve the Atlas military with unwavering faith and loyalty, but they’re all going to realize that James has jumped way off the deep end. I think Marrow will probably be the first to go against Atlas and the other Ace Ops since he really wasn’t interested in fighting Team RWBY, while the most stubborn will most likely be Harriet since she only had limited faith in the gang.

that was really adorable. And i loved Weiss calling them family, but my favorite moment weirdly enough is Weiss spinning Ruby. It just feels like a classic moment btw them like something we'd have seen in the first 3 volumes and i really like that

Very true. That hug they had in v5 definitely made me cry, but there really wasn't much build up to it. Yang is the big sis of the team, and it would've been great to see Weiss lean on her more in the first 3 volumes. I guess they did team up in the tournament so that's something Personally, I'd rather we had gotten more Weiss and Blake moments. Weiss's father is the biggest slave owner in the world, and directly responsible for Adam. I feel like that should've been a conversation or two btw them or maybe Adam trying to kill Weiss or even just mentioning that Blake is teamed up with his greatest enemy's daughter

The Blake Anthology Manga has an amazing scene btw these two where they're sharing books and it's such an absolutely amazing look into both of them. Their love of books is what first brought them together and i wish we'd seen more of this Personally, I'm irked we never got more btw Blake and Weiss given that Weiss's father is basically responsible for 90% of Blake's problems.

@@Justking I don't think she's ever seen Ruby completely broken down like this before and, bear in mind, up to this point Ruby has kinda been the one rock solid thing in Weiss' life so far. The first person she's met who not only _can_ live up to the standard, but is actively supportive and encouraging. The first real friend in Weiss' life, who actually accepted Weiss for who she is and encouraged her to live her own damn life for real, basically just had a nervous breakdown in front of her.

I wish weiss was the one to comfort ruby when Salem got into her head but I get why they had yang because she's her older sister and all that but still I really wish it was weiss

As someone who loves Fair Game and was kinda peeved about that ending, this would've been better

so they were avoiding any flirty moments btw the two to keep the fans from going crazy. Makes sense. There was a lot of white rose screaming after the opening last volume and it really dominated a lot of the conversations and fan art about the volume so they wanted to avoid that this volume

Ruby's so proud and happy that Weiss considers her family, while Blake is thinking back to her own emotional abuse from Adam. The second moment is a favorite moment of mine in the series. Weiss is just in complete and utter shock that her smiling fearless leader could break that easily
