Should the Seventh-day Adventist Church not WELCOME all sinners who are interested in hearing the gospel, and making a decision to follow Christ? Perhaps they need a deacon like you standing at the door with a sign that says, "If you are a a gay sinner in need of a salvation--go somewhere else." 🤐

We have a choice in how we react and choose. We don't always habe a choice in how we feel. If babies can be born with their arms and legs missing or even born inside-out you'd think it isn't so strange that they can be born with some crossed wires, so to speak. I believe they can and rarely are. Still, it is what they choose to do about it that matters. They are no more wrong or wicked than men who chase after multiple women. But that is deemed more acceptable and normal. It is neither. But most men are wired that way naturally.
You say that "we don't always have a choice in the way that we feel" ; but feeling like a woman is not what makes me a woman ; and feeling like a man is not what makes me a man. I don't mean to be insensitive to those who struggle with issues of personal identity ; but neither should they accept being something that they are not. But, above all things , remember that whoever you are, God loves you and He sent His only Son from heaven to save you and desires you to be in His eternal kingdom. If you ask for His help , believing in Him and His promises, He will hear you. Also, remember these three things that all people have in common : (1) We've all sinned.(Rom 3:23) (2) We all need Jesus (Rom 6:23, I John 1:9) And (3) We are all brothers and sisters on the earth (Acts 17:26). Sexual disfunction has plagued me all my life. It never occurred to me that the Church should destigmatize my behavior! After repeated failings that resulted in the total destruction of my family, i withdrew my membership from the SDA church rather than expose my beloved church to legal and moral jeopardy.

Homosexuals & other members of LGBTQ community have a dilemma: the urge to express sex impulse directed towards someone of the same sex & also be part of a religion that sticks to its Scriptures, history & tradition. There seems to be two options: comply with the requirements of religion or leave. If homosexuals choose to continue practicing homosexuality & leave religion, they still will be frustrated due to being cut off from spiritual life of a religion. This situation is very painful.
All sins are outside the body, but sexual sins are within and are harder to break but not impossible because nothing is impossible for Your Father in Heaven.

I found this from The Daily Signal: "The Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Prohibition Act 2021, which went into effect in August 2022, forbids certain practices aimed at changing or suppressing an individual’s gender identity or sexual orientation. The law also bans “carrying out a religious practice, including but not limited to, a prayer-based practice, a deliverance practice or an exorcism.” It's crazy!
For many years, the Seventh-day Adventist Church found OTHER reasons to dis-fellowship gay folks: it was easier to 'clean up the church books' due to lack of attendance, drinking, smoking, and living like fools. It is unChristlike to accuse all LGBTQ+ of lying, attributing motives to them when you can't read the heart of them all. Lying - from the documents of some of them, definitely. Others are deceived, hurting, confused - and such hurtful labels are likely to drive them further from your god. While I definitely don't want to lower Biblical standards, that includes not lowering the standard of showing Christ-like love to sinners, whom Christ is trying to woo to Him.

Are we not tired of having to defend the truth. The truth defends itself. The Bible tells us in Genesis that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for their wickedness. Romans 1: also talks against homosexuality 1cor. 6: 9-9,10 . Also says it's a sin but Paul states it can be overcome. 2Peter 2:6-8. These people are sinners but if they are able to take themselves out of the sin collum, then I propose that the church accept my adultery, fornication, robber, and murderer club.
