The show is actually kinda ok but it destroy a lot of the things of the book. My problem with them is that they lied, they sell this as "faithful " to the books and then insulted what the kaer morhen witchers are, then I started hating the show for real because they bastardized some of the most memorable and noble characters. Prostitutes really? In a SECRET castle to hide from people? In the middle of fucking winter? Making them dangerous for Ciri when they loved her??? Like common on thats unacceptable srry.

Ah, even after the disappointment of what Netflix did to The Witcher we still get to savor these amazing songs. Extraordinary Things alone makes S3's existence worthwhile in my mind. I'll never rewatch the season, especially the second half of it, but I'll revisit these songs time and time again. If anyone is unaware of it, Joey Batey is in a band called The Amazing Devil and it is amazing. So many beautiful songs. Go check it out asap if you didn't know about it and like these Jaskier songs.

The Witcher is a flawed show, but it always had the best songs I didn't watch season 3, so I had never heard the latest songs, and they are simply breathtaking... Good job for bringing these songs to life, Joel Batey !
@@amber.brrahhabsolutely! He goes through every emotion, doesn't he? I haven't yet found a (fantasy) story setting that doesn't have a matching Jaskier song.
I don't think I could rank them all, I just couldn't choose. But my top 3 would be 1. Song of the Seven, for it's amazing vocals 2. Ride of the Witcher, for Percival Schuttenbach's part in the song 3. Her Sweet Kiss for it's melancholic melody.
The show is nothing great especially since writers decided to be 'original' but theres a reason why they are not real writers that you know write good books. Same shit happened with Game of Thrones (though in GoT case it was more because show caught up to books but as Martin said they themselves decided to cut books plenty ensuring that show would catch up to books faster). In terms of Witcher it was just that movie writers and directors started inserting original ideas and screwing everything up. But that does not take away from good songs. In later stages Jaskier indeed carried the show.
