A full game of All-Star Baseball 2005, a baseball video game by Acclaim released in 2004. Cincinnati Reds at St. Louis Cardinals. Featuring one of the most cursed ninth innings you will ever see.
Wow! Thank you for this. I was having a nostalgic moment trying to remember this game as I was thinking about my cousin that passed away years ago. He was a huge baseball fan and I played this game so much when I was younger.
Love the interesting perspective of the fielder when balls are hit. Been wanting to thank you for these videos, the 2004-2007 years were the best for baseball games. It’s actually pretty relaxing to watch! Look forward to continuing to support your channel. Small request, any chance for higher resolutions in the future?
Thank you for the support. Let me know if there are any particular games you’re interested in that I haven’t gotten to yet. For resolution, I target everything for 1080p with the rare exceptions of PS5 games where I can easily record 4K. For games like All-Star here, I’m using real hardware hooked up to the Retrotink upscaler to get 1080. The internal resolution on the console side is still low, 480p I think for PS2, so player models will still be a little fuzzy. I could with an emulator record while forcing a higher “native” resolution to see what the game would look like with smoother edges than what’s possible with native hardware. I wouldn’t want to do that for my main gameplay videos but could make sense sometimes to compare the original look against the best look we can get with emulation. Let me know your thoughts
@@30-30Club I Just Realized That David Ortiz Doesn't Have An Signature Stance Which Is Weird Because In MLB 2006 Ortiz Has One And So Does Ryan Howard Though It's Not The One From MLB 08 The Show
I had All star 05, MLB 2k5, and MVP 2005 for Xbox. Not to mention madden 05 and NFL 2k5. 2005 will live as the greatest year for sports games. MVP 05 and NFL 2k5 to this day are still modded and played on servers. And I don't even watch sports.
Game any good? I love my ps2 and am in Europe so can only get the All star baseball games or high heat etc for it. I have mlb 2 k11 for my 360 but i like ps2 better i think.
I don’t have a ton of hours in each one honestly but I remember 2005 being good. It’s a shame their parent company went bankrupt so they couldn’t keep it going after this one
